I used Bluestone Psychological Services for an approximately two month period from September to November 2021. I was having some resurgent trauma-related problems from being assaulted in the past and was seeking guidance through them. Calling to set up an appointment was straightforward, I had read the online profiles of the professionals and asked if I could see someone in particular (as of writing this review on Saturday 17 June 2023, the person is no longer listed as working at Bluestone). After describing my situation to the receptionist, they said that it sounded like the person I was requesting could be a good fit. So we scheduled an intake appointment in an online format due to the COVID-19 pandemic. At the first appointment we set up weekly sessions thereafter until I was feeling confident enough to part ways with the therapy about two months later. I received a bit of talk and EMDR therapy in my sessions. The therapist was never short with me and I found the treatment effective for helping me work through my problems. She was professional in our sessions and never prying. I have continued to use some of the things I learned in the sessions after stopping the therapy sessions. read more

I was a former patient of Dr. Lilia Peng. I went to her because she was a Naturopathic psychiatric provider and trans/LGBTQI+ friendly. However, I regret that decision. I felt that she was very impersonal and straight to the point. I never felt that much compassion from her. In addition, I felt that she did not have great bedside manner or manners with me at all. I felt her customer service to me was not that great. I had to cancel at the last minute a couple of times due to an emergency, and the practice and Dr. Peng told me they had to charge me a fee. Bluestone showed me no mercy, and Dr. Peng did not seem to show me any either. I felt that she also did not properly understand my conditions either. I also didn't like that when I made no follow up appointments with her that Dr. Peng reached out to me multiple times and asked me if I was interested in continuing with her. Well obviously, if I have not called you or made an appointment with the practice in months, it's evident I am no longer interested. In the end, I am glad I left. I would not recommend this practice or Dr. Peng at all. In my opinion, they have no understanding for when life situations come up and I did not feel there was good communication or compassion towards patients either by either Dr. Peng or the staff of bluestone. read more

Years ago I took one of my kids here and received great care. They were responsive and very professional. Recently I tried to contact them and called and left a short detailed message consisting of my name and contact information. Several days passed and I made several calls to reach them. All I wanted to know is if they were accepting new patients. Unfortunately they never replied and of course I was extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism. For that reason I couldn't or wouldn't recommend this facility to anyone! There is nothing worse than being hung out to dry. They left me hanging for days. If you're the T in LGBT, l'd not recommend. Doralissa will tell you things like "this was the worst experience I've ever had since a proud boy did a gotcha on me" tell you they don't like words like CIS, and get petty about the gender you choose on the forms even if it is your legal gender, because, and I quote "your brain chemicals are different. read more

Life can be tough sometimes -- and it's so good to know there is a reliable place to reach out for help. During a time a great need in our family, Dr. Hanson listened to what we were going through, and quickly got my family member connected for the help that was needed. I am seeing Randi here and immediately felt comfortable with her. She has amazing attending behaviors without feeling like she's faking. She's genuinely interested in what she's helping you with. I was impressed with Dr. Hanson from the start. Randi came highly recommended by a dear friend. I called and left a voicemail. Dr. Hanson then spent a week playing phone tag with me. This is a review for one of the therapists at Bluestone Psychological Services. I have had therapy services from Ms. Coccia-Eddy on alternating weekends for some time. Before that, it was weekly because we needed to work closely. She was willing to schedule with me and my time. The entire therapy group has an SMS system to remind you that you have an appointment via text to your phone. For me, that's GOLD. Specifically, Mysti was capable of managing me through a lot of my problems. Today, I'm done going to therapy regularly so I can highly recommend her! read more

Dr. Hanson has been a huge resource for me to get myself back on track to a healthy mindset. She has always been on time and the environment of the office is quaint and very comfortable. The staff is always accommodating and friendly. Dr. Hanson also gave me numerous resources to continue building a stronger heathy mindset and followed up with me to see how the resources were working.
