A great little shop, filled to the roof with fabric treasures. Some unusual fabrics, with great pricing. Always a pleasant experience. The wife I assume is always a pleasure to talk with, and her husband is quick to get things cut for you so that you are on your way to sewing fun. Great place for cottons and flannelette to make so many baby blankets. Always enjoy coming in. read more

First impression, looks ghetto with customer service to match. The poor customer service is why businesses like this will go out of business soon and fabric.com , Etsy and other online fabric stores will take over. I asked the salesperson to measure the roll of fabric I wanted to buy and he flat out refused. There was a swatch of this fabric already cut and I asked if I could take a small sample to see if the color will work, he grabbed it from my hand and threw it on his desk and refused. Does this man not want to sell fabric? Guess I'll give my over a hundred dollars in sales to some where else. I am a designer who buys fabric very often from many fabric supplier and never have I experienced such poor customer service with such a crap attitude. I can't remember how I heard of Save On Fabrics... but I think it might have been an ad on Facebook or social media. I kept it in the back of my mind and it just so happened I thought about it on the way out of town. I had just purchased a pattern for a blouse so it was great to stop by and see the store in person. There is plenty of fabric to choose from here, and a very friendly woman who helped me find what I was looking for. I would have spent more time here, but I asked if there was a restroom and was denied by a man who seemed to assess whether or not he would have let me use it in the first place, which initially did not sit well with me. I am all for giving people the benefit of the doubt, but I'd be curious to know if this was a case-by-case basis and if anyone has actually been able to use the bathroom here. Because my aunt wasn't feeling well, she left to find a bathroom (there's one at the Subway near the entrance of the parking lot), and I cut my shopping short because of the lack of facilities. However, I can't say enough about the woman who helped me. She was friendly and had a great energy about her. I also liked the friendliness of the clientele. Everyone I encountered was eagerly shopping for what they needed, and I felt as if I was in a creative environment. Worth a stop if you're looking for reasonably priced fabric and you don't need to use the restroom! read more

This is a no frills clearance store imo not a full deal retail store. I've always found more than I went in for and have received help when I've asked for it. Prices are excellent and very efficient at cutting fabric etc. read more

Got exactly what I needed! A very nice lady helped me after I explained what I needed. I also had a picture and she got the perfect colors of fabric and cut them in less than 5 min I was on my way. Super reasonable prices as well. read more

The man was extremely rude and he does not give you the right measurements, you will be charge for a lesser size / length. During this pandemic times they were open and made so much sales with no social distancing being practice. The old man gets upset easily and so defensive when a customer makes a remark on how he measures. Defensiveness because of "caught in the act of deceiving" a costomer. read more

I like save on fabrics but today I bought 5.5 meters of fusible facing there. It didn't use, it ruined my material and it smells funny. Not happy. PLus the receipt says all sales final. Thanks alot. read more

What a pleasant surprise this store turned out to be! We were delighted with amazing customer service and we found exactly what we were hoping to find at a great price! Only thing lacking is pattern selection. Only a couple drawers of random patterns to search through. Otherwise, will definitely come back for all our other sewing needs. I have shopped here for about ten years. This place is full of pleasant surprises and the owners have always treated me really well. They stock a lot of technical fabrics (wicking, DWR, stretch wovens, etc.) and a huge, beautiful selection of sweater knits. The notions are not displayed super well but they usually have what I'm looking for when I ask for it. And I forgot to mention: $7.00/m for quality DWR? Sold! Five bucks for ballistic grade nylon? Gimme some of that too :) read more

Totally disappointed in the lack of interest and customer service I received at this store. The best way to describe it would be self serve only. As a novice DIYer I was wanteing to redo my lamp shade and went to this store to pick up some fabric and some kind of ribbing. I was also seeking some knowledgeable advise as to what product was available and might work best for this product. The proprietors or the hired help, whichever, (a man and woman) were totally disinterested in helping me in manner whatsoever. In fact, I found them to be extremely curt. After a couple of minutes of conversation with the woman it was made perfectly clear she wasn't interested in answering my questions and she finally said she didn't care. My remark, " you should care, I'm a customer for heaven sakes."conversation became somewhat heated. I turned to leave saying how absolutely ridiculous. As I got to the door the man states, "we have better things to do." So folks this store wants only to cut your bolts of fabric for you.....the rest appears to be total self serve. Fair selection of fabrics in this mom and pop store. They have a good selection of fabrics for garment, drapery and upholstery. Prices are very decent and much less than you would pay at a larger store for the same fabric. Store is a little in dissarray, but if you ask they know exactly where everything is.
