Four of us came here for a wine tasting. We found it through a deal on Groupon. Very cheap prices if you are just going for the wine tasting. Comparatively, this was by far the cheapest experience we could find within an hour of Buffalo. Definitely not a ritzy venue, the parking lot is gravel, there are chickens running loose. This is great if you don't want to deal with the airy environment of some wineries. For an early fall Sunday, this was a great way to relax and hang out with family and friends while trying some new wines. The place definitely was not crowded, but there was a consistent stream of people coming in and out. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed, I would have felt out of place in any sort of formalwear. My two favorite wines were their Spiced Apple and Caveman Red (sweet). The loganberry and rhubarb were interesting, but not to my personal palate. There are also some beer and liquors available, though we didn't have any. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxed local winery.

Checked out this place after using a Super Savings on 7 deal I purchased. It's pretty small, but intimate. Everyone seems to know each other, as if it's a regular bar they go to. I don't know if this is a regular thing, but they ordered pizza and wings from South Buffalo and offered it to everyone there. We checked out the little barn as part of our "deal" and saw some goats and sheep, and a little white kitty that was roaming around. It was definitely a fun time, especially for a nice little day trip. We stopped at Taste and Vidlers too before heading in (all of which were my first time).

The people were nice, neither the wine or beer were good. It was more like a bar than a winery.

I've been here for a few years in the 90's for there fall festivals i don't know why it took me so long to come back! Had 3 bands playing Saturday we saw the end of the 1st and the second one very good band Black Widow! Had many venders from spices, cookies and cupcakes, candles they were great me and my daughter got some candles and melts from them was called Morning Wood! ,clothes and jewelry, I got a crystal from one vender my daughter got a Buffalo Bill's floor mat for her father for Christmas she also had very pretty coasters we both got one ! Handmade blankets, wooden cutting boards. They had a wine slushy truck and a whole area for wine slushy and beer there too . And can't forget the cannabis spot with edibles. They have a gazebo area that had tables for eating or drinking saw many tables that had bottles of wine they were enjoying outside! They had chiavettas chicken dinners with 2 sides for 17 dollars my daughter got a great looking cheeseburger and got a bud light for 6 dollars. After that we made our way to taste some wine we tried the Edelweiss white sweet grape tastey wine so my daughter bought a bottle for home and also she had 2 glasses of this warm wine called Mereo it was amulled wine with clove, cinnamon and lemon flavors she had something like it before so had to get a bottle of that to go also. The wine area was a little crazy but came back before we left to purchase the 2 bottles when it died down. Over all it was a great afternoon great food, wine ,music, booths brought home some great stuff! I won't wait another 30 years for this great September Festival Thank You Merrit Winery

As part of a Wine tasting club at a local winery, our wine and food pairing went perfect! Each dish…read morewas expertly paired with its perfect wine match. As I don't consume cheese, the wine connoisseur took it upon himself to find an appropriate non-dairy match for me, and did a phenomenal job with it. From the grilled portabella mushroom caponata with a Canadian Pinot Noir, to the sweet maple syrup drizzled figs with a little lemon with a local blackberry wine, or the channa masala to compliment the sweet Californian Riesling, every bite and sip was a harmonious marriage. ‍‍ The service was phenomenal and that alone makes visiting this winery worth it, a long with the educational value offered. The staff is very knowledgeable on different wines and also has that skill of disseminating the information effectively to better educate its customers. Even though we have visited a few wineries and vineyards in the US and abroad, I would take this one to be in my top 3 experiences. The tasting room is also clean and well set up. I would highly recommend visiting Ten Thousand Vines if you are from the area or visiting to try some of the phenomenal wines from WNY.

They have so many unique wines here and there's something for everyone. I like sweet wine and my fiance likes dry and we both found quite a few options. They offer tastings which is what I usually do to try some new wines out. The tastings are reasonably priced but it you end up buying wine, then the tasting is generally free.
