I booked my appointment for Saturday, Dec 13 but due to leaving late from home was late. They slotted me in right after the appointment that was originally after mine and it took less than 5 minutes. Anna was a fast whiz!! It was also pretty busy in the morning with groups and friends and couples continuing to check out the earrings on display for sale as well as asking about appointment availability. I'm grateful that they didn't tell me I was *too* late! After my downsize, I was in the mood to get a piece of fashion jewelry (specifically a huggie) for February/March when my first piercing ever (lobe) is ready for it. The girl helping me out recommended a twinkle silver one that she also owns. Plot twist: I came back the next morning (Sunday) after a night of fun knocked out my left piercing. I found the backing, but not the stud. The same girl was working so I laughed about it with her and she said it's not common but also they were willing to fix it/replace the jewelry for free based on their usual warranty. Laos worked on me this time & was super willing to share their knowledge about piercing care!

They rarely offer walk in appointments, so I recommend securing an appointment online before coming in to get pierced. Depending on the location, they only offer piercings if you're 18+. You can get a max of two piercings per visit. Pricing: $35- one piercing + cost of jewelry $50- two piercing + cost of jewelry $10- saline spray Piercing jewelry can range from $30-130 per earring. All their piercing jewelry is implant-grade flat black labret. Kels was super patient and accommodating, she knew I was nervous and took the time to assure me that the pain is bearable. They have stress balls if you need it. Pain tolerance varies for everyone, but I was surprised my helix wasn't as painful as I thought. I would compare it to a flu shot! The worse part is placing and tightening the jewelry. After a few months they have a free check up appointment where you can switch your flat black to a shorter post. I had a very positive and fun experience, I might come back again to get a conch or tragus after my helix is completely healed.

He went out of his way to take on my unknowns and worked with me to make what I wanted happen within the constraints. The previous shop I had tried (that took walk-ins) gave some excuse to me why they wouldn't do it. It was 2pm. - The shop itself is one of the most tenured in Austin, and is decorated to reflect that. I think they said they'd been there at least 27 years which is crazy to me coming in to get this done on my 24th birthday, meaning they've been tattooing longer than I've been alive. - The process that they used to draw was considerably more painful than previous shops I've been to, but I'd prefer someone using tools they're comfortable and familiar with rather than inexperience. - Only complaint I have is only taking cash, I had thought of that but used most of the cash i had on the previous artist from the day before. (They have an ATM inside, but does not accept tap.) - Overall the final result was exactly what I wanted given the constraints of the limited remaining real estate space on my arm. I was very impressed by how Burke developed creative ways to get me what I wanted while still keeping the overall design fluid. Definitely shows the 25 yrs of experience. Even if there's slight imperfections, that's what makes tattoos unique to you. It's not supposed to be copy/paste, as long as you're happy with it and it represents what you want it to, it's a job well done. I would definitely recommend their shop!

The…read morestudio is clean, inviting, and features standout décor along with an impressive selection of piercing jewelry (largest collection I have ever seen). Although I'm not interested in getting a tattoo myself (intense fear of needles), I was impressed by the professionalism, creativity, and client-focused approach of the staff. The artists and piercers are knowledgeable, clearly explain procedures and aftercare, and maintain high standards of hygiene and safety. Staff were courteous and provided thorough information, including a $60 quote for a small tattoo. Overall, customer service here is excellent, making it a highly recommended studio.

The environment is clean and welcoming and during the piercing process they are communicative, and I love that when you lay back theres cat pictures taped to the ceiling to comfort you through the pain. For the quality of the service, their prices are very reasonable and they have many many jewelry options and are happy to recommend other options that will work for you if they arent carrying something specific youre looking for. Unfortunately, I have had a negative expirience with one of the piercers. Pineapple, Jade, and Mercedes have all pierced me at different points. Around 3 years ago Mercedes pierced my verticle labret, and it turned out beautiful. Unfortunately I had to take it out because of a surgery after a few months, and once I recovered and wanted to get it repierced I went back. This time Travis pierced it, and I did not agree with his personality very much, as I felt he made some kind of targeted comments at my preferred jewelry and piercing placement, and he also was a little rude when we were having a conversation regarding the circumstances of my surgery. Since there was a scar showing the placement of my previous piercing, I trusted the results would be similiar, but after seeing the markings and thinking they looked good, the piercing happened and it felt a little off. Originally he tried to give me a piece of jewelry for the healing that was comically oversized, and when I said that I would like a smaller size, he acted as if it was a silly request. But truly, my lip was not going to swell to double its normal size because of a repiercing. I signed a form, got the smaller jewelry, and figured I would downsize when it was appropriate and hopefully I wouldnt feel like the placement was weird, but after the piercing had healed and I went to get it downsized, he revealed that no jewelry would fit the way I wanted because there werent any small enough piercings unless I had one custom made. I couldnt afford that so I just accepted it, until this year when I started disliking it so much I decided id rather not have the piercing than have the weirdly placed one, so I took it out. I know the difference might look kind of minimal, but it really drove me crazy to feel the piercing wiggling around so much, and not be able to afford jewelry I would like because it was not within standard sizes. For a while I blamed my anatomy, but a few weeks ago I realized maybe my lips arent weirdly shaped and my prefered placement should be possible, so I got it repierced elsewhere. Now that it is healed (or at least no longer swollen), I can confidently say that Travis messed up with the piercing placement, and acted quite unprofessionally in my opinion. I am comfortably wearing a size piercing that I think is third from the smallest standard size, and it fits exactly how I want. I will attach a photo with a comparison of the piercing i got from travis and my current piercing. (in the top pictures I am wearing a 16g, 1/4 inch piercing, and in the bottom pictures I am wearing a 16g, 3/8 inch piercing.) I cannot recommend the other piercers enough, and I hope to return here for many future jobs, but I would like to recognize this expirience in my review because it was an upsetting expirience that cost me time and money.
