I needed them for swag bags for a party I hosting. To my surprise they had an over-whelming selection. To my disappointment, they did not have the quantity I needed in the brand I choose. However, the sales associate checked the back stock and provided top notch service. She even gave me a lead of where I might find what I was looking for. Don't worry, she did not lose a sale. I still bought some craft beer and a couple of canned cocktails. The sale was just smaller and I am sure future sales will make up for the shortage on this visit. They had 2 sessions for the wine tasting - the first hour was with the winemaker and after that, people were free to stop in to do the tasting at the own pace. It's a small space, so with people lingering after the first tasting, things were pretty cozy, but we found a spot to squeeze in at the bar. The bartender was very nice and got us through the tasting quickly. I would definitely come back to do another tasting again sometime or just order a glass of wine a la carte! I can find unique items that you do not see at other grocers. I am wanting to eat healthier this year and this department is helping me achieve that goal. Also, the Dierbergs label is just as good as a name brand and it helps you save money on your total bill. If you over drink and do something stupid, you can use Dierbergs florist to help get yourself out of trouble. Twice my grandson came out with bone in chicken even though one time I had him on the phone on speaker telling them I wanted chicken tenders. They should just close this place and start over again.
