Always friendly here! If indeed help finding something they don't hesitate and love their app for deals. They aren't crazy busy when I go which is nice. They do samples sometimes. This location is right next to Aldis. If you need to hit multiple stores it's convenient. Large parking space. read more

Total Wine is essentially a liquor warehouse, with a large selection of both mainstream and lesser known, more unique alcoholic (and some non-alcoholic) products. Their prices are generally competitive, augmented by further promotional discounts via the store app, points earned thru their loyalty program, and special prices in-store on the end cap displays. Staff are usually friendly and helpful. Their inventory is decently well-organized into various categories (e.g., all wines in the same area and grouped by type and/or region, vodkas together, craft beers together, etc). If I go in wanting some bourbon without a particular brand in mind, this is very helpful. Where I occasionally run into trouble is when I go in looking for a particular brand. I can usually find the category well enough, but spend many minutes trying to find the brand I came in for. Overall, though...I recommend for the vast selection, pricing and helpful staff. read more

The selections, pricing, location, and service are all great. The ability to accumulate points towards a purchase is really helpful. This is my go to store for liquor. read more

If you're going to have a policy on carding all parties of 3+, then you may wanna balance it out and stop hiring employees with lots of condescending rage and no wisdom. It's a shame I'll never go here again cuz of the points I've acquired over the past 10 + years wasting my money. read more

What the ACUTELY F*** My 19 year old daughter went in to buy glasses.... Keep in mind GLASSES!!!! For her mom on Christmas and this old lady... ( glasses, multiple color hair terrible person) said she couldn't buy GLASSES...... key in mind GLASSES....... From this establishment. You sell freaking candles, bottle openers, and snacks. But a kid trying to buy something legally for her mom at an establishment and gets denied by an old crusty turd. That's bull****. I have sent quit a bit of money in this crusty establishment, I do not recommend it to anyone. The selection is complete trash! Doesn't even deserve 1 star. read more

I feel like almost everybody that works here needs to go back to customer service classes. They're so rude and customer service does not exist in the store... 0 out of 10 I do not recommend. Go anywhere else for your booze cause you'll be leaving here with a bad attitude after dealing with any of their employees. read more

I have been going to this location since it opened. The staff is always friendly and helpful, pricing is competitive and well stocked. i highly recommend them. read more

I fucking hate this place. I literally go in to buy glasses for Christmas for my family wait in line 30 mins for the bitch to not let me buy GLASSES. Since when do you have to be 21 to buy glasses for a parent for Christmas I'm 20 years old just trying to get my dad what he wants. Fuck this place. read more

I visited my daughter all the way from Hawaii and ask to take me find cigars. So we ended up at total wine and I'm expecting a good array of cigars. Which I did fine a good assortment from high end to low end and I was pleased, but to my surprise I found that about half of the inventory had MOLD issues. On the wrapper and some mold creped on to the leaves of the cigars. I was very sad to see so much inventory and $$$$ gone to waste!! I expected better care from this establishment. I would die to have a walk-in humidor and that kind of array of assortment and large inventory I would be taking extra care of these fine goods. I felt very bad to see thousands of dollars go to waste !! I hope on my next visit to Illinois in November that things will be better kept. read more

Worst customer service. One of our friends forgot their IDs, they weren't even paying and the workers got a power trip. Then another friend asked to just guy some red cups and snacks and the workers were again being rude. Wouldn't let us buy red cups or snacks. This place needs less rude workers. Management please regulate. read more

Fuck this location. Came with friends and workers were being complete asshole. They were like we have to card everyone. Clearly we're all of age but these workers wanted to have a power trip. Go to another place to get alcohol not worth the trip here. read more

Thank you Total Wine for opening up your super store in Fairview Heights! You are now my one stop shop for wine and more. The selection here is amazing! This is definitely a super store for booze. I love the huge cold section of drinks. So many local varieties of beer to choose from. You name it, they have it. This place is truly amazing! read more

Unbelievably rude. We came in to buy CLUB SODA and had my little brother with me and they refused service because he didn't have an ID on him. FOR CLUB SODA. Also, why didn't the manager say anything to us before hand when he walked us to where the club soda was at that we weren't going to be able to check out with my little brother with us. No explanation. Just said "those are the rules. " and then we said if he goes to the car could we check out? And we're told no. Absolutely ridiculous. Nasty attitude from the cashier as well. read more

What an amazing selection of spirits. Found some new whiskey that we were so excited to find. Can't say enough about the overall selections and great layout. read more

I was in the store yesterday and was using a wine coupon the cashier could not get the coupon to work so she called the manager over to help I asked what was the problem she stated I didn't qualify for the coupon as I did not buy the correct wines. then she stated I will give you the coupon off but I should have read the coupon better I was totally embarrassed and humiliated by this manager. her tone and brash was so unprofessional I will not go back read more

What else can you say about this Mecca for booze and wine. It has everything you can need. The only problem is deciding what you want because there's so much. Good problem to have I guess. My new favorite place. read more

Best wine store ever. Courteous, very helpful, prices are affordable, And the staff is wine knowledgeable. Thanks for coming into our neck of the woods. read more

Left here incredibly frustrated and disappointed. Drove about 30 minutes JUST to purchase 2 cases of wine and was denied that purchase because my 19 year old sister was with me. She's a legal adult - yes I understand not of drinking age. I am 29 years old and they told me they couldn't sell to me for 24 hours. There NEEDS to be a sign on the door stating this rule. Curious to know if this is a store rule or the law because I've had no problems purchasing elsewhere. If I knew this before walking in, I'd be enjoying a glass of wine instead of writing this review. read more

Contactless pickup is amazing! We just text our parking spot number, and our order is immediately brought out. A quick check of an ID through the window and we're on our way. We've used this service often, and each time the representatives are friendly and professional--and always masked! read more

!!! RACIST ENCOUNTER !!! If I could do zero stars I would. My husband and I went to buy a bottle of wine to celebrate an accomplishment. we were told to leave the store by the manager, no explanation or anything. Not to mention, I saw bugs crawling on their floors & walls. They may seem put together, but in reality they are not. You will find better customer service at Mcdonald's compared to this store. I am truly disgusted and disappointed. read more

Great selection, even better staff. If you're looking for bourbon, find Christopher M. and ask him to help you, he really knows his stuff. My boyfriend and I have found some amazing and unique picks because of him. For beer try Becca, she was super helpful in getting me not only fruity beers but flavored stouts. I won't shop anywhere else. read more

Total Wine & More has a great selection and a great set up; however, their staff were extremely rude and not helpful. We were very disappointed in our experience there and the way they treated us and other customers with questions. We will not being going back. read more
