We were a party of 6 for the Thanksgiving dinner 2025. With new owners as of three or so months…read morepreviously, this was my LAST dining experience here. It was a buffet style meal. I expected turkey but they only served small thin slices of turkey breast (with giblet gravy - no traditional gravy available) and some kind of baked ham (mostly in chunky pieces) in a cabbage broth (a dish of sweet dark looking sauce available). The appetizer/salad/soup options: big bowl of mostly frissee lettuce w/ grape tomatoes, shaved carrots with a gross thick sauce of balsamic vinaigrette. There were trays of: baked root veggies, sweet potato pone, mashed potatoes and mac & cheese. The rolls were industrial like (white rolls out of a bag) not the homemade fresh baked breads I've had here before. There were bowls of Smoked CHOPPED salmon (why would anyone chop up smoked salmon?) and trout with a tzatziki sauce (not a dip) was not what one would expect. The best part of the whole meal was the butternut squash bisque. The dessert option that I chose was a small wedge of flour chocolate ganache torte. It was dry and the topping was very thin. There was fresh made whipped cream but the buffet table (overall) was not well maintained. The table service was subpar. We had plates sitting on our table for long periods of time and would have liked to have more visits by the waitress for more pours of coffee. The wine selection is not what it used to be. My Oregon Pinot Gris was served in a stumpy Chardonnay glass (ugh). For the price of this meal....we should have been treated right and fed a phenomenal holiday meal. My father and mother had experienced at least two Thanksgiving meals at Glen-Ella in recent years and raved about how good it was, which was why he shelled out the money to take me and invite friends to eat there this past Thanksgiving. The worst part was the response of the wife (Michelle) of the husband/wife owners who replied to my email whereby I described the above meal/service and the excuses I got, contradicting statements I made as if she was there and witnessed what me, my dad and our fellow diners experienced, giving excuses for such poor service and food selections. She did say the next time we return to let her know. We're not going to risk another poor and expensive experience. WE WILL NEVER RETURN. Update.....it doesn't surprise me that Michelle replied the way she did to my review. I can tell you that most people who are disappointed with food/service do NOT write reviews either on Yelp! or other review sites. But you, as a discerning buyer, can look at other reviews and see when things change for the better or worse. Buyer beware.

It had a 4 Star rating with AAA and it looked beautiful so I made the reservation. We were looking for a place to relax, do some hiking and look at nature and that is exactly what we got and more. When we got there Henry and Clare, who own this beautiful Bed and Breakfast, made us feel welcomed immediately. The grounds and the B & B are breathtaking. We stayed in the Lord Tenneyson Room. The lake nearby is Lake Glenviille which is incredible. They had a champayne cruise on the the lake and the next day evening drinks. They also served a full breakfast daily in the room. Clare and Henry gave us a map of hiking trails. They recommended Rainbow Falls and Whitewater Falls. Great hikes and even better scenery. This facility is well worth the 4 stars. Their service is just as good as any 5 star resort. It is romantic and well worth the trip.

So the inn is a gorgeous property and the fall air made everything so crisp and beautiful. Claire and Henry welcomed us so warmly and made everything special. They were so kind to upgrade us to the Emily Bronte Suite that we loved! The room was warm and cozy, I loved the bathroom!! Lol. My husband really enjoyed that they brought breakfast to our room. He had never stayed in a place that did that for guests. It was always delicious and got us ready for a day of exploration. We went to the hospitality hour almost every day. Claire and my husband talked about craft beers and she was such a sweetheart to remember what kind of beers he enjoyed and had them at the next days hospitality hour. We took all of Claire and Henry's recommendations on things to do and good places to eat. Which included; the Champagne Cruise (lots of fun, Claire brought those delicious crackers she makes) different waterfalls to go see, and going to see the Biltmore in Asheville. Long story short we loved this bed and breakfast and if given the opportunity we would gladly go back. Thank you Claire and Henry!

Best little hideaway vacation spot we've found so far! I wish there were more places like this in…read morethe world. Our visit was super fun, relaxing, and therapeutic for myself and my husband. It felt like we were on a second honeymoon. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. It didn't take long for us to feel like family and fit right in. That being said, this place is not for everyone. Please do not come here expecting people to look like movie stars or personal trainers. We are normal people with normal bodies--some are large and some are small, some older and some younger. Please do not come here if you are easily offended by nudity or staring. When we arrived, there were many stares at us but it was never creepy or alarming; just curiosity from the residents or frequent visitors. This is a place where "no" means no and people respect that so you can feel safe. I never felt like a piece of meat during my stay. Please do not come here if you expect a five-star resort with brand new facilities and all the amenities. This place has been here for a while and it's clear to see as you look around. However, old doesn't mean dirty. The bathrooms, showers, and play areas were cleaner than some of the other resorts or clubs we have visited. For this visit we stayed in our RV so I can't review the accommodations. But our site was in a quiet spot by the river, very beautiful and peaceful. The clubhouse had plenty of tables and seating with a pool table, two poles (one spinny and one static), and a dance floor--a great place to cool off during the day or socialize at night. Upstairs in the clubhouse is the Little Charter House which has a small but clean play area with sheets, towels, and wipes. But the main Charter House where weekend parties usually end up is up the hill. It has play areas and a nicely arranged dungeon for bdsm play that's called The Den. This was our first visit. We stayed on a Tuesday through Sunday and we will definitely be returning. Where else can you nap in the sun, swim, exercise, play games, socialize, eat and drink, or do whatever tickles your fancy, all while wearing nothing but your birthday suit? It's really quite freeing. Regardless of whether you are a nudist, new or experienced in the lifestyle, or just looking for a great getaway with some wonderful people, I highly recommend The Grove.

We recently had our family reunion at the Twin Rivers Resort, we had a blast. Though phone…read morereception is low and the map they give you isn't the best, most of us got lost getting to the river, this place is nice. The cabin's are nice and clean, feels new. We spent majority of the time on the river or cooking the main lodge. Overall it was nice escape. Only things I would improve is the map and trails it can be hard getting in and out since its a gravel road. But overall a weekend we'll remember!

We had a family reunion here during the summer time and it was great. There is no cell phone…read morereception in the area so I would highly recommend walkie talkies for communication. The camp ground was clean and nice. The cabins were also very clean with beds, bedding, and toiletries so you don't need to bring any from home. There is a volleyball court, basketball goal, fire pit, swing set, and large room for gathering. The chattahoochee river is near by for fishing, rafting and etc. The only thing is finding the river was difficult and finding a nice spot on the river was driving distance. It would have been nice to have a map of how to get to places and the river. It would also be nice to have canoes, kayaks, and stuff to rent or recommendations of places near by where we could do that as an option. The place is still very new so there was not much to do around camp grounds. But overall a great place for reunion and relaxing.
