Obviously we could have stayed right in Helen, but this was only a 25 Minute ride and I really like the amenities of a full apartment over a hotel room. We stayed in the presidential suites, which are actually down the road from the main buildings and checkin office. This resort is an acquisition of an old Silverleaf resort I think. You could tell our room was a little dated, but very comfortable. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars was the elevator was down. There was only 1 for the building and she said it should have been fixed before we left but it never was. We had to lug all our stuff up and down stairs. Not the end of the world, but because of the event we were attending we had ALOT of extra stuff! We will certainly go back, as a matter of fact my wife has the same suite booked for a girls weekend in July!

He refused to give me any receipt proving the reservation had been canceled. I made another reservation at a different place down the road. When checking in I said that we had an issue with another hotel. The young lady said, "let me guess? Super 8? " I was told I was the 3rd person TODAY to have this same issue with them. Someone is scamming your clients and pocketing these cash deposits. DO NOT book here!
