Seems like it's had a remodel recently. It's now a Quality Inn instead of a Super 8. Cheap rates, and you basically get what you pay for. Room was clean, had the basic amenities, writing desk, TV, fridge and microwave. If I could give less than 1 star I would. I booked my room through a 3rd party booking company and paid ahead of time. When we arrived with 2 kids under 3 after an 800 mile drive in the rain we were refused service. My daughter-in-law's ID was buried in the back of her moving van and Richard, the desk agent refused us check-in because both of us did not have ID in hand. The room was booked in my name on my card. He was demanding a $250 CASH deposit. I offered a credit card and he said he was canceling my reservation and I could take it up with the 3rd party. He refused to give me any receipt proving the reservation had been canceled. I made another reservation at a different place down the road. When checking in I said that we had an issue with another hotel. The young lady said, "let me guess? Super 8? " I was told I was the 3rd person TODAY to have this same issue with them. Someone is scamming your clients and pocketing these cash deposits. DO NOT book here! read more

This motel (if you can even call it that) was absolutely AWFUL. Walked in to the place already feeling bad vibes when we see the nasty carpet hallways with trash and crumbs on them and dirty doors. The smell of smoke and musty air was overwhelming as we walked up to our room. Inside, hair, stains, and stink bugs were all over the pillows and blankets. On top of that, our door could be opened without being unlocked! They refused to give us a refund and we had to drive all the way home at midnight. This place is very disgusting they have a bed bug infestation, i saw a bed in the hallway and carpet being ripped out of a room. As soon as I walked in my room I smelt a very horrible smell, do not stay here for your own well being. read more

This "hotel" was so gross. Not only does it need a ton of repairs, but the floors in the first room were covered with pieces of trash, pieces of dried food, and broken pieces of plastic next to one of the tables. There was also a nit comb in one of the drawers. I promptly took my children back downstairs to get a different room. There was only one other non-smoking room available, and it was cleaner and larger. However, there were rust-colored stains on the couch and whitish stains on the chairs. I'm so grossed out by this place that I probably won't sleep, but at least I don't have to spend the night in my car with my poor kiddos, right? Ugh. Would leave ASAP if my car didn't die in the parking lot. But I'll be checking my kiddos' hair every hour for the next 2 weeks. read more

Was this the best place I've ever stayed no. But when I tell you the customer service was 5 stars. I would recommend.

Pros of this hotel: 1.This hotel had a great location for what we needed which was probably one of the only good things about the hotel. Cons of this hotel: 1. The entire hotel besides the room had a very stale smell that was unpleasant 2. The walls were very thin and I could hear kids being very loud up until 3:00 in the morning 3. The breakfast was very small and limited 4. The maids never cleaned our room, added that we stayed here for three nights and they still never cleaned our rooms so we had to go ask to get new towels from the front. This one was pretty ridicules. 5. There is about a dozen patches of mold on the shower curtain 6. The bath tub has a bunch of cracks throughout it 7. The toilet seat is cracked 8. I stayed here this past weekend with my cousin for the first time and you definitely get what you pay for if not worse. The top bedspread has white liquid marks on them (possibly from a previous couple?) and also the blanket underneath it did too. The blankets were so dirty and looked like cum on both of them. It was disgusting and the blankets were thin as paper. It was by far the dirtiest hotel I have ever been with and I will never stay here again. read more

Stayed there this past weekend for 2 nights. He said they were new owners within the last few months. They are in the process of remodeling. However, room was extremely clean, bathroom was all new. Very clean quiet, and the owner was extremely nice, paid attention to everyone and everything going on. Checked with us to make sure everything was alright. I would highly recommend and stay there again if ever up that way. read more

Veterans Beware. During the snow and ice January 2018 a veteran friend running a paper route had to stop and take shelter. When asking the hotel if they gave a veterans discount they raised the room rate and said to blame Governor Deal. It is SHAMEFUL to treat our veterans in this manner. read more

I'm very upset with the quality of this motel. My family and I stayed here for the eclipse and of course, the price of the room was exorbitant. Normally, a place like this would be $40/night but we payed about $85. Believe me, it's not even worth $30/night. The beds are on boards just nailed together and have nothing stopping them from falling off the frame if you move too much. The bathroom door practically touches the toilet so when you close the door, you have to almost stand in the shower. Speaking of the shower, the water alternates between super hot to cold without even touching the knob. I was hoping the Continental breakfast would allow me to give it at least two stars but cereal, apples, yogurt, toast and waffles doesn't make a good Continental breakfast. Disappointed The only positive thing was the woman who checked us in, she was very sweet. The room was not inviting at all the a/c took some finagling to get it to work. The T.V. was analog, yes,analog!!! For $105 and this day and age you shouldn't have to turn the antenna for a picture The water in the shower was either hot or cold and they couldn't even spare the complimentary conditioner (the sweet lady checked everywhere- even the laundry room) guess they couldn't bother with the extra expense. The continental breakfast that was supposed to end at 9:00 was no where to be found at 8:30 and the manager told us it was all gone (alrighty then) needless to say our experience there will stop us from ever spending our hard earned income in such an under deserving under whelming Super 8 Hotel again:( read more

DO NOT STAY HERE. The fellow named "cash" that checked us in was very snarky and rude. He alone almost made us want to book elsewhere. Dirty room. The mini fridge ticks LOUDLY so we had to unplug it just to think straight. Took some work getting the AC to come on and it would never stay on longer than 2 minute. Just an awful awful experience. The management is extremely rude. When I called and someone answered the phone, I immediately got the impression as if that person would have preferred to be anywhere but where they were. Then, when I continued w my inquiry, the person was very short and combative. He continually interrupted me which I asked him to not do. The fourth time I asked him to please stop interrupting me, he then yelled at me and told me to stop interrupting him. What?! I am not due to arrive at this hotel for another 2 weeks and already I am sorely disappointed in my experience, and judging by the other two reviews, I cannot expect my experience to get any better. Maybe someone should help that man out of his miserable disposition by getting rid of the current management and hiring some people who knows how to run a hotel and knows what customer service ACTUALLY means. Our Special Olympics team were booked here for the Fall State games on Oct 14-Oct 15 2017. The hotel was decent. Our room was fairly clean. Microwaves and mini refrigerators are available in all the rooms. Sime of our team members found roaches in their bathrooms but our bathroom was ok. The hotel manager was a little rude when I told him that there was a spill I'm the lounge area. I explained to him that the majority of his guests were special need adults and that he may want to clean that up. First, he wanted to know where the spill was. I told him. Then, he wanted to know what kind of liquid was on the floor. I gave him the craziest look and said... "Does it really matter what type of liquid is on the floor? It's liquid, the floor is WET, someone may fall and hurt themselves!" When I came back later on to head to our games, there was a wet towel on the spill.... nothing else. No sign...nothing. smh! I hope that the GA Olympics doesn't use this hotel for special need adults accommodations again. It was too far from the games and the rooms are not equipped to handle wheelchairs as we figured out when we 1st checked in. read more
