They told me no one reviews on Yelp so guess what, I'm their first review here. Texas BBQ is what they do and they do it well. Tonight we tried all 3 of their meats, Brisket, Beef Ribs and Turkey all very tasty and enjoyable. I am a KC BBQ guy but every once in a while it's good to experience the post oak. The cream corn was very good and I've never been a fan of slaw and tonight I'm still not a fan. The peach cobble is a must at every BBQ joint and they do theirs very well. Thank you for the excellent food and the gracious hospitality. I would definitely eat there again. Give them a try you won't be disappointed

Thai breakfast Bowl - fabulous presentation, fresh ingredients and it has a KICK. Biscuits and Gravy - biscuits were dense and the gravy was more like a paste, but the tastes were great. At $5, it was a quick and easy snack while walking around the festival. The flavor was surprisingly good. Even though the piroshki had been sitting in the warmer, it wasn't dry at all. The beef and sauerkraut filling was well-seasoned and flavorful, and the bread was still soft. My only minor complaint is the size--it was pretty small, maybe about three bites for me. That said, the taste made up for it, and it worked well as a grab-and-go snack rather than a full meal. Service was extremely fast, making it a great option if you want something quick without waiting in a long line. Overall, a tasty stop at the festival, especially if you're looking for a flavorful handheld snack.

Service was good, a bit slow due to the amount of people, but still decent. They ranned out of the pie 2 hours before the shop closed which sucks, but i got to try the other stuff. 3.2/5 - Huckleberry ice cream - Expected to be sweeter. Everyone was getting it so i hopped on the train. Single scoop already was huge so no complaints there. The taste though was only a little sweet and very tangy. I wished something more special came out of it, but just tasted like a sweeter but very tangy ice cream. Similar to a blue berry. 3.0/5 - Avalanche Puff - Flakey outside with a huge glob of jam in the middle. Some powder sugar on the puff pastry. Overall just lacking in flavor. Definitely looks the part, but it not being hot and so its not crispy as well just makes it very plain. Huckleberry flavor is there slightly sweet and tangy. 3.5/5 - Turnover - This was the best thing i've had, again it was decent. Feels like a meat pie kind of but instead of meat you got huckleberry jam. Decent, but i just wished for a stronger or more appearant sweetness coming from these desserts. Wished it was hot also, but all desserts were served cold. Overall it did not live up to the hype. Sadly i didn't get the try the pie which was the main reason. Everything else seems just dissappointing. Great gift shop and tourist spot to grab local huckleberry goodies.
