Dr. Sethi seems more focused on his Instagram presence than on giving his patients proper care. We went to his office for my dad to be evaluated for constant diarrhea. He came into the room and spent barely one minute with us. We tried to explain my dad's symptoms and how he was feeling, but he didn't listen or ask any questions. Before we could say much, he left, and the nurse told us that he was recommending a colonoscopy. A few days later, we went in for the colonoscopy. After the procedure, a nurse handed us a paper and said the doctor would call if anything urgent came up. We never heard back. Two weeks later, my dad's condition got much worse, and we had to rush him to the emergency room. There, doctors discovered a malignant mass completely obstructing his colon--stage IIIB colon cancer. He went through two major surgeries to remove the tumor and treat a severe infection, spending almost two months in the hospital. It was a painful and exhausting recovery that required physical therapy and constant care. Weeks later, I finally received a voicemail from Dr. Sethi saying he needed to speak with us about the colonoscopy results--by that point, my dad had already endured two surgeries and a long hospitalization. This experience was devastating. The complete lack of communication and follow-up from Dr. Sethi's office delayed a life-threatening diagnosis and caused unnecessary suffering. I found it hard to communicate effectively with Dr. Sethi. In our first appointment, I came into the room, I gave two to three sentences starting to describe my symptoms, he then left the room for a few minutes, and came back. He recommended a colonoscopy, it was difficult to get him to explain why that procedure was the right next step. I trusted him and got it. After the procedure he gave me a 3 sentence description of what he found and a diagnosis. I had to ask a series of questions in order to figure out how I should be caring for myself after the diagnosis. In all of our interactions he frequently was looking down or away, as if distracted, not frequently making eye contact. Overall it was difficult to communicate and I did not get a sense that he "cared" about helping me get healthier. read more

The treatment by front office staff is awful. I was immediately dismissed to a chair after writing my name on a list of Dr. Sethi patients (which was not a confidential list either). Next patient arrived and she was asked (by same employee who spoke to me) a number of questions and given a clipboard with new patient documents. When I complained I was dismissed again; being told that the employees are helping other patients, which I knew wasn't true because I watch them for 10 minutes; busy with whatever they were doing but clearly not willing to checked me in. I have no idea what Dr. Sethi is like as a doctor, because I didn't meet him. I left the office in disgust. read more

Cares more about his Instagram count than actually treating patients. He saw me for literally 30 seconds with no how are you. Just a snide "why are you here" and a disgusted, annoyed look on his face. No goodbye. Just left the room and then the medical assistant said he left and was done. I was nothing but polite, calm, and friendly. Absolutely devoid of any bedside manner. Inflates his credentials massive amounts??? Look him up. Come to your own conclusion. Apparently he did not get a degree from Harvard nor from Stanford but he uses both in his descriptions as being trained there? "Top doctor California" on his website. Source? No source. Anyone can stick a label on anything. Genuine question, does he have an MD or MBBS? If the latter, is it equivalent to an MBBS? Why not just put MBBS but it seems like he uses MD? Can one do that? It boggles the mind how this apparent clout chaser has any following. read more

After my colonoscopy this doctor said absolutely NOTHING and neither did his team. After several weeks of calling and chasing him down I managed to get a phone appointment and the good doctor in a boisterous demeanour says "hey yeah so I removed several polyps which came back PRE-CANCEROUS so okay then see you after 5 years." What!? He was literally about to hang up when I interrupted him and asked him if he was serious, as I had told him I had a history of family cancers. He seemed annoyed by that and with a sigh proceeded to again in a strangely, almost maniacal - loud and monotone voice, only answered my questions and nothing more. Severely lacking bedside manners and professionalism I wouldn't recommend this "doctor" at all! Till date he has not uploaded the procedure or lab reports which I HAD TO BEG HIM FOR, even though it's part of his and his teams job. read more

Has the worst customer service, chelsie or whoever is the girl who answers phone calls will put you on hold and will never get back to you. It happened 3x at the same time i have to call back 3x because they will hang up the phone without getting back to you after putting you on hold . . read more

This place It's so frustrating unfortunately I did not have a say incoming year my primary doctor referred me out to Doctor sethi. He is okand seems very knowledgeabut his staff and the way this office runs is completely absurd . It is a complete s*** show. My initial visit was fine and scheduled me for an endoscopy which I went to and went well and it Turned out that I had an H pylori infection he put me on medication and as for a follow up I never heard back i left several messages trying to find out my next steps and how i know if the infection is gone. I called many times and finally scheduled appointment And spoke with him And he stated we needed to do a Stool test to find out if the infection was cleared . They told me they would mail me the kit almost a month went by I never received anything I called them they told me they didn't have kits and they needed to give me paperwork and then I needed to go to quest to get the test They told me to come pick up the paperwork that they were supposed to mail and when I arrived the receptionist could not find any paperwork for me almost had no idea what I was talking about. Still trying to find out if my infection is gone. And I also need to get my gallbladder looked at. Also need to get all my records I'm sure that will be fun. read more

Dr. Sethi is my stomach doctor for last 7 years. He is professional and approachable. Never had a problem scheduling with him. During covid times his office was short staffed and I appreciate them being upfront about it and streamlining now that things are back to normal. read more

Dr Sethi is fine, he is knowledgeable in his field, but his staff is not well trained, wasting me a lot of time, and I would not go back to this practice unfortunately for this reason. My mom saw Dr. Sethi in Oct 2020, he ordered a blood test, which I've done multiple times and my insurance always covered it because it's routine test for the condition, but Medicare didn't pay for my mom's blood test. When I called Quest Diagnostics, the lab, they said the the code used by the doctor's office was not something they would cover, to please have the doctor's office call in with a different code. I have called Dr. Sethi's office multiple times, and each time the staff will say "I will call tomorrow, I will call next week". It's now almost July, and the bill from Quest Diagnostic is Delinquent. I wish Dr. Sethi's office had handled this better by calling the lab and giving the right code. It seemed that the staff did not know what to do. She made me go in person to the office, in the middle of the pandemic, to drop off the notice from Quest. When I asked if I could email it, she said her email was disabled, and she needed to see the bill in person to know what to do. I'm annoyed that after I spent so much time calling her, stopping by in person, she still had not contacted Quest Diagnostics. I'm going to pay for the lab bill because I don't see how the office will ever help me with the right code, and my mom will not be coming back to this office again. read more

This is the worst doctor office ever! My mom just had a surgery with him and he didn't even show up to the surgery in march 2022. First of all, they didn't send the proper medication to the pharmacy to prepare for the test. When we discovered, they blamed it on the pharmacy. I have to wait hours on the phone and called multiple times in a day to have them resend the medication to the pharmacy. We were scheduled a follow up after surgery for a video call between 2-3 and didn't even call during those hours. We finally called them and they said to wait and call back because the doctor is seeing other patients. We called and called and finally out through to doctor at 4pm just tell us he wanted to additional test. We said no we will not be subject to this kind of treatment with no respect for other people time. No regard to other people live by giving incorrect medication. Please take my word for it and if you have a choice, pick a different doctor and his office. Not only would that possibly save your life, at the very least save you plenty of headache and time. read more
