We found Dr. Curran to be very polite, knowledgeable, caring, compassionate, and a great listener. My grandmother had a regular doctor that we were not happy with in our time of need. My grandmother had just fallen, and it was found that she had a compression fracture on her L1 vertebrae. When you are 105 years old and 3 months shy of being 106 years old, any minor health condition can tip the scale against you. Due to the fall, my grandmother lost her mobility, she was in a great deal of pain, and she had no appetite anymore. Since my grandmother's health was declining, Dr. Curran referred her for hospice care. My grandmother is slowly recovering under the guidance of Dr. Curran. Since I was so impressed with Dr. Curran, I have also made him my primary physician along with other family members as well. We have not been disappointed. If you are seeking a very kind, thorough doctor with excellent listening skills, who tells it like it is, search no more! First, Dr. Goldin performed a very thorough exam, which had actually been skipped entirely by previous physicians. After the exam, he reviewed my radiology with me on a large screen to make viewing easy. Dr. Goldin explained his plan for my care in a way I could appreciate, even though I didn't get the answers I had hoped for. He stressed the limitations of recommended procedures, and answered my countless questions meaningfully, without rushing. This requires patience, understanding and communication that is not easy to find these days in the medical field. He also very kindly prioritized my ability to successfully complete physical therapy, by offering Home Health Care, since I am physically unable to drive right now. Otherwise, he only pursues health maintenance care (vaccines, screening tests/labs), which does not require an MD to know when to do those things. Those guidelines are clearly written online, all you need to do is look it up. I would highly recommend against pursuing Liang with Dr Liang. I have heard several stories first hand of terrible patient encounters. My heart goes out to those under his care.

how can i say all this ....ok here goes dr b is my primary…read morecare dr .. id had sevral surgeries this year aortic anurism repair kidney stones any ways ...it was after the kidney surgery with stent i started falling down and not doing well .. i had a batch of dr appointments this particular week... the last of wich was dr bala ...... i get to her office i need to be wheeled in in a wheelchair.. she goes over my records..then she says david u really look like shit .. im sending you to the er ... i will call and ambulance or u drive but ur going im like ok ( reluctant) i had full blown sepsis im guessing stage 2 from kidney surgery... out of all my drs dr bala is the one that picked up on i was sick none of my other drs did ....she basically saved my life that day stage 3 sepsis isnt good it is permanent damage to organs and then death sepsis ,,,blood poisoning and it was from my left kidney.. so what do i think of dr b ........u guys figure it out ..i do know she saved my ass

I went to her to address a bunch of issues I was experiencing and ended up not even addressing a single one of them. She had like three-four interns or something in the exam room. One of them gave me a physical exam while the room door was open and these 3-4 of them still present. My consent to have them was never done. The doctor was busy the entire time talking to them with her back against me. Left the office traumatized and ended up crying in the car.. Do yourself a big favor and find some other Primary care. There are plenty who are way more skilled in this profession. Front office were fine. Can't complain.
