I don't like the idea of any kind of procedures and shy away from dentists and doctors. So, if I had to get a colonoscopy I wanted to be sure I had the right person to do it. Asked around in the hospital where I work and this doc (Dr R) was recommended as doctor's doctor. Seems everyone I spoke to (nurses and docs had this guy do the honors). So, I had the test today. I would say everything about this was 5 stars. Right from check- in- very pleasant staff. Doc came and spent a good time with me explaining about the procedure (he's done 13000!!!) what to expect etc. from that point on everything was a breeze.. woke up feeling better than I went in. He can back and explained the results to Me and my wife. Clean bill of health ..and no need for another one for the next 10 yrs.

I started seeing him in June…read more2014, after managing my symptoms for years, because Children's Hospital refused to find me another course of treatment. Within a month of meeting Dr. T, I underwent procedures to better understand my situation. We determined I needed to have surgery and then begin a rigorous treatment plan. While I am very pleased with Dr. T and Dr. Roorda, I am very disappointed in Tran, their receptionist. Not only is she unprofessional, she is rude to patients via in person or on the phone. Each time I call and speak to her, she lies to me, puts me on hold for 5-10 minutes, half ass listens to what I'm telling her and then questions everything I told her and wants me to repeat it all, she doesn't communicate well or return phone calls as she says she will, she told me she could not give me a direct line of contact to Dr. T when I was experiencing horrible symptoms or wanted to complain about her customer service, and finally, each time I'm at the office, she gives me a "I don't like my job, or patients, so I'm going to not give a damn about you" attitude. That right there pisses me off. If it wasn't for Dr. T and Dr. Roorda, I wouldn't have any interest in coming back. One last thing, Dr. T wrote a prescription for me almost 2 weeks ago, to start a medication I desperately need. I followed up with Tran 4x asking her to notify me when the prescription would be called in or given to me. I played the run around game with her over 4 phone calls because she continues to change her story each and every time. On my last phone call, she told me she could finally call in my medication and told me all the usage instructions and then said, she couldn't because she needed to call my insurance company, but she wouldn't be able to do that for a few days because she was busy. That's absolutely absurd!! So in the meantime I have to suffer in pain while that airhead picks and chooses when she wants to perform her job.

It's been 10 years since my last one, so it was a distant blur. Her facility is very modern. The surgery center (National Ambulatory), next door, is just as nice. On the day of the test, the people were extremely pleasant and informative. Walked me through all the steps and what to expect. The anesthesiologist reminded me of a slender version of Dwayne "the rock" Johnson. :D Very nice guy. Dr. Nguyen showed up on time and assured me that all will go well.
