She was cold, distant, and did not listen to me about my problems or about what I needed considering it is a chronic problem and is well documented in my chart. I was there almost three hours before she decided to tell me she couldn't give me the treatment I would need and I should go to the ER. She couldn't have told me that wayyy earlier knowing that "the urgent care policy" wouldn't allow it? Not once did she apologize for the treatment or anything. Worst experience ever and would never recommend her!!

Effective June 1, 2009, I will be reducing the number of patients I am able to see in primary care so that I can spend a portion of my time caring for patients at the Urgent Care Center. As a result, I ask that you transfer yoru care to one of my colleagues in Family Medecine at the Palo Alto Medical Foundation's Fremont Center. That's it? A 3-paragraph letter and our relationship is over? I don't even get a phone call? Breaking up with your doctor isn't quite as painful as with a significant other, but it still stings whenever I read that letter. I'd taken special care in selecting Dr. Miller. I'd researched top medical colleges, then searched through my insurance's list of in-network doctors, and narrowed my search according to college attended, and years in practice, then finally ended my search on Yelp. And now it looks like I have to go through this whole process all over again. What if another doctor rejects me? Will I ever find "the one". Why does it have to be so hard? I feel so alone. I guess Dr. Miller wasn't the one for me. Things happen for a reason and I know the right doctor is out there.

All the stress instantly disappeared after I was greeted very warmly by Ms. Thuy and Dr. Lan Do. The experience was great from start to finish! Dr. Lan Do is very kind and knowledge-able. I would absolutely recommend this clinic. I feel healthier already LOL!

First everything in the office is new and clean. I walked in, signed in, and was called for my visit within just a few minutes. The front staff was very nice and friendly and was more than happy to answer my questions. I went into an exam room and saw Dr. Le for the checkup. After finishing, I was able to ask Dr. Le medical questions I had about my parents. He took his time and answered everything I asked pretty thoroughly. We also chatted about other things and he explained that he and Dr. Do both left Kaiser and opened this office together. Then I went back out to the front desk and scheduled my next appointment for my next checkup. I tried to schedule an appointment for my parents, but this practice is brand new and both doctors aren't under my parent's health plan yet. They wrote down my parent's information and said they would call me as soon as they are able to see my parents. If Dr. Do is the same as Dr. Le, they seem like a really wonderful pair of doctors with a really nice office. I really can't recommend them enough.
