I must admit, Dr. Yamini Madhaven has been one the THE BEST Doctors I have ever had as a personal physician in my adult life. Her attention to detail and sincere genuine care for me as a patient and just as a fellow human being was unparalleled. She never made me feel as if I was a bother but listened to my every need with compassion, with the mission to solve whatever was ailing me. Her advice was priceless along with our discussions as fellow parents. She made sure I stayed on top of taking my meds and made sure that I would follow up with her to make any adjustments that were needed. Her care and sincere interest in helping others who are sick should be the template for every Physician to follow. I was grateful to be in her care when at Kiaser and so sad she left. As frustrated I am with the experience, I am thankful that this was resolved at the facility where I have been for the last 8+ years. Bumping up to 3 stars. Appreciate the back channel help here. ----- Further update to this. As suggested by the PAMF team I reached out to their patient relations only to get a canned response that I do need to make an appointment to get the labs done. Their handling of this seems more systemic. Their response is that the tests have not been done frequently enough. So it takes more billable visits before you start ordering labs that were ordered atleast twice in the past adhoc?? and also always suggesting - do the annual physical. Patients have the right to choose what preventive care they want to schedule and when. For established issues (test records are sufficient to see the history) it should be super straightforward. In any case, have my new primary doc appt setup with an alternate agency. Not going back to them again.
