My PCP for the last 4 years or so has been Dr. Yamini Madhaven, and while she's been very good with…read morecompleting work forms for me she has not been good about interpreting labs or knowing what the next steps are any abnormal results. Please review our correspondence for all labs. Twice, while my liver enzymes came back high, she messaged me, "Good news, I have reviewed your labs and they are normal." I was sent to the ER by one of her substitute Doctors for high Vit D as I was trying to compensate for my weak immunity and Washington ER told me my PCP should be ordering another Vit D for me to ensure I'm within range. She never did. I ordered labs inclusive of this Vit D marker from an outside ND because I knew she would fail to do it and I was right. Twice I messaged her letting her know that the labs the ND ordered came back with an HS CRP of '18' with normal is below 2 and that I would like to share all the results to add to scan into my chart. An hs-CRP level of 18 mg/L is considered a significant elevation, well above the high-risk threshold for cardiovascular disease. My resting pulse went from 70 bpm to 49 in less than a year. And still no response from her. I am 95 lbs and 15% body fat and my liver can't even process olive oil. I don't know how she is a physician. In addition I messaged her informing her that the person created my Ultrasound report, falsely stated no complaints of abdominal discomfort during the ultrasound when I did complain of pain twice on the right lower and upper quadrants. Again, Dr. Madhavan never responded. There should be an addendum added to the report for that false statement. She stated the US was normal when there was trace free fluid which could have been blood or pus. I disagreed with her and asked that she order a CT. I was told I can eat prior to the CT which I did because I am always low blood sugar and while there were red flags found the report said bowel was in the way of determining what was found. There was definitely abdominal distention throughout. Dr. Madhavan again said normal and no further evaluations needed. I am not a doctor but given my illness while treating under her care, I would have ordered 1.C-reactive Protein 2. Serum Bilirubin Test 3. Fecal Fat Test (Stool) I hope no one else has this experience but if so I believe she will be hurting patients and not helping with her lack of awareness, knowledge and follow up. This is either negligence or ignorance of which she needs to refer to her colleagues, medical books and medical resources. It is my opinion she should not be practicing.

I usually don't like to go to the hospital for any reason so I try to stay healthy best I can. But…read moreas I am getting older, ailments arise. I must admit, Dr. Yamini Madhaven has been one the THE BEST Doctors I have ever had as a personal physician in my adult life. Her attention to detail and sincere genuine care for me as a patient and just as a fellow human being was unparalleled. She never made me feel as if I was a bother but listened to my every need with compassion, with the mission to solve whatever was ailing me. Her advice was priceless along with our discussions as fellow parents. She made sure I stayed on top of taking my meds and made sure that I would follow up with her to make any adjustments that were needed. Her care and sincere interest in helping others who are sick should be the template for every Physician to follow. I was grateful to be in her care when at Kiaser and so sad she left. I'm sure she will continue to successfully treat all other patients who are blessed to be in her care as I was. She is the BEST !!! John Wesley Payne
