Wendy Barnes, the designer, basically just put the plants in a semicircle with no regard to the actual size of the plants. On the positive side, he was impressed with the exceptional condition of the plants purchased, which outshone those from other nurseries in the Atlanta area. These plants were not only healthy and vibrant but also free from any rootbinding issues, even in the fall. The installation process, handled by a third-party vendor, was praiseworthy. The team efficiently completed the job in a single day, however, after looking at the plan they should have contacted either the customer or the designer to say are you sure about this. On the flip side, the disappointment stemmed from the design service provided by Wendy Barnes. The rendering she sent depicted how the plants would look five years down the road, but unfortunately, the actual design fell short of expectations, proving unsatisfactory and unappealing. This has necessitated additional spending to somewhat improve the landscape. I appreciate the owner's efforts to resolve this by offering to sell us more plants and personally delivering them the Friday after Thanksgiving. As we were aiming to get the house on the market by December 1, and though we typically handle this ourselves, time constraints led us to seek assistance from ServeScape. Despite this setback, my partner remains open to using ServeScape and possibly the landscape installer again. However, I strongly urge a more accurate representation of plants in future designs. Another notable concern was the placement of the delivered plants, with over 30+ placed directly on the pathway to the house, causing an obstruction.

The truck they used to deliver the mulch had bald tires and ended up getting stuck, tearing up my front yard in the process. They left deep ruts and damage, with no effort made to fix or even acknowledge it. When I placed the order, I clearly told the manager the mulch needed to be delivered to the backyard -- at no point was I informed this couldn't be done. That should've been communicated from the start. To make matters worse, they didn't even bother to backfill the damage they caused. For a supervisor, Wilmer showed no consideration and had the worst attitude I've ever experienced from a service provider. Absolutely unacceptable. I would never recommend this company.

Salesman states it's not technically in store but will be here in 2 days for you to pick up. Declined to have it delivered as the fee is ridiculously stupid. On the day of pickup I didn't receive a call as told I would about my item being ready for pickup. I call the store around 6p and am told "your items were never placed for transfer by the salesman and I've selected it now and it will be here in another 2 days." HUH?! Unacceptable! I speak with the assistant manager Calvin and state I want this now delivered for free! I made accommodations to secure a truck to get my items and your mess up caused this so deliver it free of charge. He responds he needs manager approval and will call me right back. I've yet to receive a return call back and it's the next day. So I call into the store yet again and am told both managers are off until Friday. Well someone better call someone to get my delivery approved! I could have furnished my entire home from Haverty's but if you can't handle a small order I sure won't trust you with a large one.
