I ordered mine with the works (all three meats, sauce, and green onions) and it was delicious. The service was fast and the team is very efficient. There were two lines that had at least 5 people each when we arrived and we waited maybe a total of 5 minutes to make it to the front. Have eaten here several times for breakfast and it is spot on. After seeing reviews for their ribs, decided to give them a try. This is a gas station so there is no where to eat of course so be sure you know this beforehand. I was wanting to try the ribs but had a taste for red beans and rice, so I was excited to see that red beans were on the menu and available as a side. The ribs were good, not great but solid and very meaty. The red beans on the other hand were disappointing. The beans were hard and not seasoned. They needed to be cooked down more and looked more like beans and water as they were not cooked down. I would probably go back for the ribs but would skip the red beans for sure. read more

The employee stated she was sorry that the people in the back forgot i was still there as i was seating in their seating area. I give this place a five star for the breakfast. I lived there for a couple years and once I discovered this place, I was addicted!! Once the chef stepped in to help with the line and he called me over. Suggested the gumbo but being a Yankee, I said I don't eat sea food. He explained that gumbo means a mixture so he loaded up a container with grits, eggs, connecah sausage & can't remember what else. It was awesome, I was hooked.
