I called to schedule a massage, and the gentleman asked if I wanted a 60-minute or 90-minute massage. I confirmed that I wanted a 90-minute massage. Once I arrived and went into the room, I tried to explain to the therapist that I needed the headrest adjusted and a pillow placed under my legs. My therapist then had to ask the gentleman at the front to come into the room to adjust the headrest and complete the setup that should've already been done. During the massage, I asked several times for adjustments or for her to focus on specific areas, and she could not understand me. Even at the beginning of the massage, I asked if she could use oil instead of lotion because it was pulling out my skin too much, and when she did not understand me, I had to lift my head up and pick it up out of her basket to show her and ask her to use the oil. I'm sorry, but that should not have happened. Then, once I turned over, we went back and forth for way too long because I simply wanted a pillow under my head. At this point, I was so stressed out and just hoping the massage would get better... It did not. Also, the notes I had written on the intake form before the massage were completely ignored. Not only was this massage stressful, it was a 60-MINUTE massage, not the 90-minute massage I booked!!! When I came to the front and looked at the time on my phone, I asked the girl at the front (different from the guy I initially spoke with) why my massage was cut short. She told me it was only scheduled for 60 minutes. All she did was apologize and say she would only charge me for 60 minutes. She could see how frustrated and upset I was and didn't offer to do anything else other than charge me. I'm so disappointed and normally do not post negative reviews, but this place is TERRIBLE!!! I had an hour scrub, and it was a full hour. No shorting! Unlike some places, this was not performed in "wet room". This was on a massage table, which was cozy and warmed (perfect during these coldest days of winter). Everything was done properly and modestly, with proper coverage and draping. The salt scrub was at the PERFECT pressure. Very thorough. She covered every bit of my exposed area and stayed away from a couple of sensitive areas (between toes--I have a issue there) I had marked on my application. She definitely knew what she was doing, and checked with me periodically to make sure the pressure was right. At the end, she gave me a cup of water. While I love Korean body scrubs, a salt scrub is certainly nice as an alternative, and provides extra minerals to your body. My skin was wonderfully smooth after the treatment. He treats my husband. We come here almost every week. For me, it is more for Thai massage. I have to say this.. Jane is the best masseuse I have ever had in my entire life and I go to massage a lot! She takes her time and understand the muscles very well. She listens to what I want and does exactly what I ask her. I always feel so relaxed and safe when I get a massage with her. This place makes me feel really happy! My husband loves her too and usually he is pretty picky about massage :) Very very happy place! hehehe Go there and you will know what I'm talking about!
