Absolute hidden gem! I came in here completely stressed out with a terrible knot in my shoulder, and Lita worked absolute magic. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was clean, quiet, and deeply relaxing. Lita checked in with me beforehand about my problem areas and pressure preferences, and she hit every single target spot perfectly without me even having to remind her. Her technique is phenomenal--firm yet incredibly soothing. I left feeling like a brand-new person. If you book an appointment here, definitely ask for Lita. I've already scheduled my next visit! read more

DO NOT GO HERE! ( now changed name to Spa Space Story Thai Massage) Imagine feeling achy and sore, only to not only feel completely stressed out during your massage (because you cannot communicate with your therapist at all), but to leave even more stressed out and upset than when you arrived. I called to schedule a massage, and the gentleman asked if I wanted a 60-minute or 90-minute massage. I confirmed that I wanted a 90-minute massage. Once I arrived and went into the room, I tried to explain to the therapist that I needed the headrest adjusted and a pillow placed under my legs. My therapist then had to ask the gentleman at the front to come into the room to adjust the headrest and complete the setup that should've already been done. During the massage, I asked several times for adjustments or for her to focus on specific areas, and she could not understand me. Even at the beginning of the massage, I asked if she could use oil instead of lotion because it was pulling out my skin too much, and when she did not understand me, I had to lift my head up and pick it up out of her basket to show her and ask her to use the oil. I'm sorry, but that should not have happened. Then, once I turned over, we went back and forth for way too long because I simply wanted a pillow under my head. At this point, I was so stressed out and just hoping the massage would get better... It did not. Also, the notes I had written on the intake form before the massage were completely ignored. Not only was this massage stressful, it was a 60-MINUTE massage, not the 90-minute massage I booked!!! When I came to the front and looked at the time on my phone, I asked the girl at the front (different from the guy I initially spoke with) why my massage was cut short. She told me it was only scheduled for 60 minutes. All she did was apologize and say she would only charge me for 60 minutes. She could see how frustrated and upset I was and didn't offer to do anything else other than charge me. I'm so disappointed and normally do not post negative reviews, but this place is TERRIBLE!!! The communication was awful, my requests were ignored, and I didn't even receive the massage I booked!!! Again... DO NOT GO HERE read more

Loved my 1 hour massage!! Perfect pressure, nice touch, I felt great and rejuvenated.

Great service, professional staff that is attentive to your needs. I enjoyed the level of care and the quality of the session

Holy shit. It's been a while since I've experienced racism of this level. Typically, it's covert. Not today! I was actually headed to Cheesemongers (next door), and they were closed. It's my day off, and I've been in need of a foot massage and some lower back attention. I stopped outside of this place at the display window to read the menu from the folding sign they had inside. There was an employee sitting at the desk who saw me, then said something to another employee who came out from behind the door that led to the massage rooms. The woman then walked right toward me, looking right at me, then went to the door and I heard a loud click. I called my bff right after they clicked the door, and I told her "I think this message place just locked the door when they saw me... but I don't want to assume. Maybe she UNLOCKED it. I'm going to try the door" my bestie was IRATE. She's literally my sister and she WASN'T HAVING IT! I went to try the door... and it was locked. Both employees stood behind the desk smirking and having a giggle.... I stood there.. low key shocked... then just walked away. My sis was LIVID. She called them and they admitted to seeing me but they told her "They didn't know what I wanted" so they locked the door.... then got flustered when she questioned them further. If you're Black, they don't want to touch you. End of story. Don't come here. Please check out the video review on my new tiktok @shesacritic. This was VERY VERY nasty, and I shutter to think what would've happened to someone who was having a bad day. This could've promoted self-harm for someone who struggles with mental health. It made me feel something I can't even put into words. DO NOT come here. read more

Tahnya is the absolute best.!!!! My boyfriend and I both have been getting massages from her for many years. Tahnya is by far the best masseuse I have ever had. She is my girl. Her technique is incredible. I always feel relaxed and rejuvenated. She's consistent. She always hits the spot. If I'm ever having a problem area, I just let her know and by the end, I feel like a new person. Her new location is easy to get to ...on the corner of Ventura and Van Nuys, and there's parking in the back. Thank you Tahnya for always taking care of me. And I always get 90 minutes. Love you Tahnya !! read more

No comfort, no relaxation,no good vibes. From first step you fell as they "just doing job". Lady whom I asked relaxing massage finish her food in 2-5 minutes when starting massage. After she need turn off some staff in the room and immediately should put it out of the room.... I am still on massage table waiting.... And she start doing relaxation massage with her dry hand and it was painful! I asked her add some moisturizer and she did !!! Strong bad awfully smelling oil which from first second gives me allergy ! Headache! How is it possible to do that ?! All oil should be worn NO smells ! Just because may have some health issues... So NOT RECOMMEND THAT PLACE ! read more

Great quality massage. I actually leave the place feeling like I have had a proper massage. Staff are friendly and we love using the couples room when my husband and I go together. For a busy main street location there is no noise and for anyone else that hates the sound of loud roof top a/c units shaking the room when they get a massage - this place I hear NOTHING so I can actually relax - yay! read more

Probably the best massages I've had at a small shop like this. They found all the right spots. Next time I'm coming in, I'm going for the 90 minute massage. read more

Customer service here is trash. My sister had a day off and wanted to get a little self care day in. She walked up to the establishment, one of the ladies saw her coming and locked the door. LOCKED THE DOOR UPON SEEING MY SISTER. How did she know it was locked? Well...she reached to open the door and it was locked. The two ladies inside dead ass looked her in her face and went about their business. They did not move to see what she needed. To answer any questions she may have had. All they gave her was utter disrespect. I called the establishment because I have to ride for my loved ones. Whoever answered the phone acted really dumb. Saying "Oh really? We saw her. We did not know what she wanted." EXCUSE ME? You sell one thing!! She was not there to buy groceries. After I called them out, she proceeds to ask if my sister can come back. No, she will not be coming back and spending her hard earned money there. She will be taking her business to a spot with 5 stars in it who actually respects people no matter who they are. read more

Very good and fast service. Massage helped me with my tension headache and neck pain. Visited this place several time with always fast and good service with amazing prices. Thank you! read more

I went for a massage for the second time. The first time I was made to wait 45 minutes for my scheduled appointment. This time everything was on time and although the massage therapist was good it was not as good as the first therapist I had previously. My problem came at the end when I paid. I checked the internet about tipping. The range of 15-20% is normal. I gave the therapist 18% which considering it was not as good as the previous massage. I was told by her that " I should find someone else in the future as she could not work for that tip". I did not know they only get paid by tips. That is not my fault. This was no way to speak to a returning customer. read more

I found a good deal on Groupon for a deep tissue massage and set up an appointment. Arrived on schedule to a warm receptionist and clean room. My massage therapist was a lady named Dee Dee. She did a great job. The massage was quite soothing. She walked on my back and used her feet to dig into the lower body. She eventually used her hands to massage my back and upper body with warm oil. I'd say it was definitely worth the money. Giving it four instead of five stars simply because i was there on a super hot day and there was no cooling fan in the massage room. The location is on a busy Ventura street, but they have a private parking space behind their bldg. Will definitely return. read more

It's not the fanciest of places but the price is great, customer service is impeccable and the massage.. OMG, it felt amazing! I had Emmy and she was really great with me. Will return. read more

I get massages at Mantra Thai Spa and Massage. I've been giong there for awhile now and have been very happy with everything. The Staff is very kind and friendly. The atmosphere is very soothing. The amenities are clean. The rooms are fresh and changed-over for every single massage. I have used Tanya many times. She is a very experienced and well-trained masseuse. I always feel great, after my massage. One of the best places in town! read more

great place! Charley is wonderful, never disappointed in her skills as a massage therapist! I am very picky so it's unusual for me to like a place so much. I particularly like that they wash their sheets with non toxic products, which is rare. If you are in Sherman Oaks or The Valley I think you'll be happy with the quality of the massage. Also you can't beat the price!!! read more
