As someone on the shorter side, she's also altered multiple pairs of pants for me, always getting the length just right. On top of that, she repaired a zipper on a work sweater that had tricky stitching, and even fixed a pair of tailored dress shorts from EXPRESS that needed restitching. I had the body length of the jacket cropped by about two inches, which also required adjusting the zipper. Everything went smoothly, I was able to take my dress in, try it on for them, told them what I wanted. It was a very easy and quick process. They told me my dress would be done in 2 weeks, but it was done in 1 :) as you can see in the pictures, I am very satisfied with the results. I brought in my wife's silk blouse for a simple alteration and dry cleaning. It took them almost two weeks, even though I told them it was for my niece's funeral and asked if they could prioritize it. What a huge disappointment! When I finally picked up the blouse, I didn't have time to check their work right away. On the day of the funeral, I discovered that the blouse was still full of oil stains that never been there before-- and the alteration wasn't even done! When I went back to confront them, instead of apologizing, the staff argued with me until I mentioned that I used to run the same kind of business. Any professional cleaner knows that silk easily shows oil stains, so there's no excuse. Their attitude toward customers is unbelievably rude and unprofessional. To make matters worse, while I was there, another customer came in to pick up their gown -- only to find out it hadn't even been cleaned. Please, do yourself a favor and stay away from this place!

Lua altered both dresses and is sweet, personable, and talented. She finished both dresses well before their expected date. Carolina and Joseph, the owners are friendly and you can tell why their business has been around for awhile. I had my wedding dress consultation with Isis. She was very sweet, you can tell she has an eye for detail. I can't wait to come back in August for my wedding dress alterations. Will provide an update then! The seamstresses are upfront about their prices during your consultation, so there aren't any surprises. Their prices are well worth the quality of work they do.
