She really listens and understands what you want, which makes all the difference. As someone on the shorter side, she's also altered multiple pairs of pants for me, always getting the length just right. On top of that, she repaired a zipper on a work sweater that had tricky stitching, and even fixed a pair of tailored dress shorts from EXPRESS that needed restitching. I got a XXL for a brassiere type top with a matching skirt. I'm a size extra small. This man did magic. Seriously magic. Attached is the job he did. I have to knock off 1 star though because I had told him I didn't need the dresses back for a couple of weeks. He told me they would be ready the following week on a specific day. I received a text day of stating they needed 1 more day, which was fine since I wasn't planning to pick them up that day anyway. The day after, I came by mid morning and my dresses weren't ready yet, which was very frustrating because they told me to come by anytime. I went to run an errand nearby and came back. The hemming was perfect but unfortunately the shoulders on one of the dresses is still loose, but it's good enough. I'll still be back here for all my future alterations!

She also had a helper, measure and record everything. She had hemmed the length of my dress, created a bustle in the style I wanted, and also added long sleeves to my dress. We took our measurements, sent her inspiring photos, and paid for half of my bill. On our second appointment, she had me wear the dress and walk around to checked the length. She taught my maid of honor how to attach the bustle and how to help fluff the dress. She asked my maid of honor to record her, so on my wedding day, she can refer to the video.
