Yum yum sauce taste like honey mustard I definitely didn't like this

Sarku Japan is probably some of the freshest food that you can get in the mall as far as The Asian category. We ordered on door dash and the food came very quickly. They also followed my special instructions for extra sauce on the food and that was very much appreciated. The spring rolls were okay but the Yum Yum sauce was the worst I EVER tasted! It was so sweet that it reminded me of honey mustard so needless to say I didn't use it on my food at all. Our plates were loaded with noodles, rice and meat I was concerned because some of the reviews claimed to not get enough meat when we got plenty. For a quick fix this definitely came in hand.

I really try to avoid the mall haha, but I needed to find a graduation gift for my niece. After all that walking we stopped at the food court for lunch. We chose Sarku Japan since it's made fresh. I got the beef plate with soba noodles. I didn't see noodles on the menu so just ask for it if it's not up there. I could have just missed it. I love that they make your food fresh after ordering. There's always a long line, but it wasn't too bad being that it was also a Friday. My food tasted really good and was hot. I didn't care for the vegetables much. I'd like it better if they had options like steamed broccoli and carrot mix rather than just shredded cabbage. The noodles were good and have a nice chew to them, but I think I would get the rice next time instead. Overall, everything was good, not too busy or loud in the food court. I'll be back soon.

Sarku Japan is the standard mall fixture for all Japanese teriyaki goodness. This location is no exception. It had a line at around 2 pm when everywhere else had no line. It is my go to because for 6.99 you get a to-go-box full of chicken, rice, and veggies. Service is efficient and the food is tasty enough. You really can't go wrong. Eat here if you are hungry and looking for something quick. My only suggestions would to have chopsticks readily available in the silverware area along with Sriracha at the end of the line to drizzle over the food for those of us that like a little spice

Sarku is the best place in the Food Court at the Orange Park Mall. Hubby and I eat here very, very often. You cannot beat the $8.00 price for 2 adults to eat and the food is yummy! We have always ordered the same thing: The Chicken Teriyaki with Fried Rice. We ask for double meat and this is more than enough for both Hubby and myself. Occasionally we do get noodles and rice instead of double rice and the noodles are very good also. As someone else mentioned, there's usually a line here, but it does move quickly. The employees are all friendly and everything is clean. The food is as good as the best Hibachi restaurants I have been to; the only thing missing is the show.

Okie dokie artichokee foodiefam let's get into this food review. Let's be real here folks. It doesn't matter what mall you are in after shopping. When you hit up the food court you cannot go wrong with Sarku Japan! It's my favorite food chain in the food court at any mall I am at. Unless I'm craving for something else but majority of the time I'm going to hit up for that delicioso teriyaki chicken. It never disappoints!

Line up cause this place is popular and it's the only place at the food court with a line of about 10 people. The chefs are funny and friendly and you get enough food for 2 or at least lunch the next day. I enjoy there Dumplings also with scrumptious Teriyaki Chicken double meat dump on the sauce!! You will now that entree cause everyone is ordering it before you! Mmmmmmmm

Nice portions. Fresh. Very reasonable. The food court was recently renovated. We went on a week day, so it was not at all crowded.

I know what you're thinking. "Chris...this is mall food court food. Cmon is this even yelp-worthy." My answer: yes. I am surprised as you are. Most food court places have deep fried, fast food, and pizza that is dripping with oil. Not this place. They have an open flat-top grill where they prepare your chicken, steak, and shrimp in a quick hibachi style. The shrimp were a little small, but for $7.29 you really can't beat the deal. Comes with a side of rice and grilled veggies. Next time you are in the orange park mall, I would suggest dropping by.

Get a lot of food for a good price and is delicious. The best Asian food in the mall for sure!

Been here many times and we always received a large portion, and very tasty. The Avenue's location does a poor job

I love this place! I think the one at the avenues is better, but this is definitely my favorite spot in either food court.

We have been coming here for years but since we moved we don't visit quite as much as before…read more However we stopped in last night and we were still delighted with the service and the delicious food. The restaurant is always clean and the ambiance is nice for a date night or for a family outing.

Finally managed to sneak over here without the entourage we usually have to bring (i.e., son,…read moredaughter in law, grand daughter...) to enjoy dinner together, just the hubby and myself. Usually on a Saturday night, this place is PACKED and not just for dinner! We've been once or twice on a Saturday and sworn we'd never go on that night again because of the half drunk women and men at the bar, the thumping music turned up loud so they're all yelling to be heated over the music...you get the picture... No so, tonight. Tonight we settled into our booth with the football game on (turned so low you can't hear it), the restaurant filled with the quiet murmur of voices of the other couples enjoy their meals...there was even a party of 15 seated at the long table up front with children (not that you'd have noticed since they were so quiet and well-behaved!) enjoying what looked like a family get-together. Can't help coming back here over and over...the food is CONSISTENTLY THAT GOOD. Sushi? Out of this world! Hibachi? Knocks it out of the ballpark! But omg...their clear soup is something you just want a kiddie pool size of so you can almost bathe in that stuff...look at our bowls! Yeah. There's nothing left!! Their house salads with that ginger dressing? Equally delicious. Their yum-yum sauce (they call it shrimp sauce) is on point and so is their steak sauce. We have never been disappointed with anything we've eaten here. It's always hot, freshly prepared, delicious! So much better than any other place I've tried...what's that saying? "Always copied, never duplicated". That's this place. I've tried so many hibachi places, sushi places...no place I've been to HAS BOTH under the same roof. The service is excellent, haven't found anything to ever complain about except the occasional drunk or obnoxious patron, but that's not the establishment's fault. That's society's fault If you love sushi...or if you don't, but you love hibachi...or tempura, or gyoza dumplings, seaweed salad...any Japanese dish you can think of or combination of sushi flavors...fried rolls or raw rolls....sushi or sashimi pieces too...try this place and you'll find your newest fav spot to have that night out!!
