The experience kicked off in the best of ways with a very friendly welcome and tour of the space. I was really impressed by how large their building as in how many rooms and classes they were able to host at the same time. they offer a small shopping area three dressing rooms and several different weights to coordinate with different classes. My particular visit was for the hot stretch class which included intense stretching in a heated room for 30 minutes. It seemed that this was just what my body needed after a few days of spin classes. Note that if you do not have a mat, you can rent theirs for two dollars as well as towels and water bottles. I also appreciated that their first sample class was only eight dollars for new customers. Often times the $20 for a first class at other studios makes it a bit too much when you don't know what you're getting into.

With coaches who are actually certified. No personal trainers pretending to be coaches. Came for the first time using a Groupon, having been convinced by friends I should try it. I HIGHLY recommend it. Buy the two month Groupon because you will want to keep coming back. (And it's only for new members.) also buy the Groupon when they are running a special if you really want to save. Needless to say, my two month Groupon needed 4 months ago and I'm happily paying full monthly membership to come. The fee definitely keeps me motivated not to miss, but the people and coaches make the 30 minute journey across town worth it. There are very few workouts worth adjusting your schedule to not miss, and this is one. To the point where my friends know I hate to miss class so don't ask if it's during boxing. Classes are 75 minutes, which is definitely better than some boxing offerings in the city, and the workout is different each day. You're going to get your cardio, strength trainings and more when you come to class. Having trained with Antoni Hardonk at Dynamix MMA in Los Angeles and a world kickboxing champion back in Russia I had a solid kickboxing foundation but couldn't find a gym in Indy that would be equally satisfying and being as much joy. I researched a lot of martial arts and was always interested in Krav Maga and Sambo as the most practical and applicable in real life and it was great to find a certified Krav Maga venue nearby. After a free class I needn't have convinced myself anymore - I got the right vibe of the place and signed up the same week. Krav Maga Worldwide Indy is like a big family and I only met nice people here. Everybody is helpful and a great partner to practice all sorts of techniques. Jeff, Kevin, Mike, Junior are all different but equally amazing coaches who care about their students and are very knowledgeable. Long story short - I highly doubt there's a better self defense gym in Indy with highly qualified coaches and a great bunch of people to train with. It is worth every penny to come here and learn so one day KM could save yours or someone else's life.

After scanning the website, I decided to check it out the next day, since the first class is free. After one class, I signed up for a membership ($39/month) and I've been to at least 2 classes a week since joining, if not 4-5 - which is unheard of for me. I like it THAT much. Revel's studio is within Primelife Enrichment in Carmel, but the clients are all ages. From my first class (Zumba with Erin) I felt welcomed and accepted. Each instructor has noticed I'm "the new kid" and gone out of their way to introduce themselves and welcome me to class. Revel is full of regulars but everyone has been friendly and many have asked my name and welcomed me to Revel. This is a community that I don't think I'd find at a larger studio or gym. Going to the gym in general has always made me feel uncomfortable, but here I can dance without worrying about how I look. I can just focus on having fun. This place checks off all the things on my list. It's close to where I live, affordable, welcoming and offers a variety of classes (Zumba, Pound, TurboKick, LaBlast). I actually look forward to my workouts and can't wait to continue my fitness journey with Revel!

I'm so grateful for the experience we had and I can't speak highly enough of the instructor. Michael is definitely in his element and you will learn so much in that 1 hour that you'll only want to learn more about how to self defend when you leave. It's worth it! Check it out!

Great martial arts and DDP!…read more This school is phenomenal. If you are serious about self defense or just want to broaden your martial arts horizons with Wing Chun, Kali, Kickboxing, Jujitsu and Judo, then you have to check this out. The instructor has 20 plus years of martial arts training, he's a black belt in multiple styles of martial arts, and he's a great guy. Say goodbye to the ego, and the "I'm always right" mentality found in other martial arts schools. Here you will find an instructor who really cares about helping you learn and grow as a martial artist and as a person. If you have questions he's got answers, and the thought process and research behind those answers is incredibly well researched and thought out and then tested over and over. Michael doesn't just want to know if it works, he wants to discover if it works best. He wants the best for his students, and he has poured years of research and training into developing his system that helps you stay safe. I have always struggled with physical coordination, but Michael takes my strengths and helps me maximize those. He also helps me adapt grow in the areas where I struggle. I have seen incredible progress in the time I've been studying with him. He is kind and courteous to every person who comes in to train with him and his students, and he genuinely wants the best for you. The training is effective and you see results so quickly. Many martial arts styles save all the really good and effective techniques till the end of your training. Not Michael, he starts you with a great foundation of incredibly effective techniques, and then helps you refine and grow from that foundation. This allows you to develop a skill set quickly and effectively, and you will love the results you see. The quality of instruction for the price you pay is a phenomenal value. Michael gives you a generous schedule in which to train, and you will be hard pressed to find a better value for the classes he offers. Even if you have physical limitations, even if you aren't in great shape, and if you are wondering if martial arts is right for you then you owe it to yourself to give this a try. The school now offers DDP Yoga, and it's a phenomenal way to stay in shape and lose weight. It's a fusion of yoga, physical therapy, and dynamic resistance that is not hard on the joints and the body. Any person at any fitness level can do this and make great strides in their health journey! Don't take my word for it, go try a free class. You won't be sorry you did!
