Delicious sweet pastries for whatever you feel like. The ricotta cookies are on point. There are several seasonal frosted cookies and even a gluten free flourless chocolate pastry. Hard to go wrong with friendly helpful staff and delicious sweet treats.

Pumpkin Cannolis

The quality of baked goods is solid. There's a terrific variety. I love the myriad of biscotti flavors. There are super fun sugar cookies, like Pokémon designs and holiday cookies. Currently, there are pumpkin cannolis (I prefer the standard cannolis). If you are having a party or are just bonkers for cannolis, you may want to consider getting the giant cannoli shell stuffed with a gaggle of regular cannolis. Check your order thoroughly, though. I have had my orders prepared wrong. My last visit, I requested three types of cookies. I got three different types of cookies, but two of them were wrong. And I repeated my order, so I'm not sure what the deal was there. There's inside seating but I don't think it's available because the bakery is not left open. Every time I've been there, I have to go to the deli a few doors down and then they send someone to open the bakery.

Full flavored "Cassata" cake the most amazing cake we have ever had!

Absolutely love my beautiful experience from Saratori's Pastry Shop :) was looking for a Italian bakery in the ABQ area to make a authentic traditional "Cassata" cake for my husbands birthday and so glad I remembered "Saratori's". From the exceptional customer service from "Johnny" to the heavenly full-flavored taste of the custom "Cassata" cake ~~~Pure Bliss!! Saratori's is a charming & unique Italian Pastry Shop run by wonderful people who offer a variety of Italian Dolci who can custom create anything you like especially when it comes to "Cassata, Cannoli or my Biscotti love! "Johnny I can hardly wait for the holidays to order my Custom Extra Large Cannoli! Ciao

"Excellent desserts." Walked in here wasn't expecting much but I was definitely wrong. Coming from a New York background with the "deli lifestyle" this brought me right back home. Let me start by saying the staff is super nice and helpful with what to get, always a plus. All the dessert cookies were incredible with their flavor. The cannolis were out of this world, brought me right back home with its richness and crunchy outer layer. Will definitely be coming back.

So many choices! Had to get more than one!

DELICIOUS and fresh authentic Italian cookies! So flavorful! I was particularly fond of the cherry and pistachio cookies, as well as their biscotti!

This place is fantastic! They're so friendly and accommodating! They designed this Candy Crush cake with no real additional charge and it came out better than imagined! It also wasnt much more than a supermarket cake would've cost (less than $50). They put the grid lines in for us so my kid can top it with our own candies (we brought the candy ourselves). The cake was a hit and there were no leftovers. Many of the guests were blown away by the design and deliciousness of the cake. Highly recommended :)

I tried the sesame cookies because they looked so good, but I came for the rainbow cookies. I was NOT disappointed. Good cookies.

Until, one day, I stopped by this place early on a weekday out of whim because my appointment got slightly postponed...so I figured a weekday early morning wouldn't be a bad time to check this place out at all..and I was 100% sure I made the right decision! There was just one or two persons in front of me! I really liked how unique the pastries/baked goods at The Burque Bakehouses were! Everything looked so unique and I honestly had a hard time choosing what I wanted. I ended up with a mix of savory and sweet patries...but, to be honest, I thought the savory ones did not compare to the sweet ones at all! So, next time, I would probably lean in more on the sweet pastries (which weren't too sweet at all)! The place could be crowded and the parking spaces seemed a little limited...so weigh your factors on the day/time you wanted to stop by this place. There was no place to get properly seated indoors. You pretty much line up, place your orders, pay and wait for staff to assemble your order...and take your food somewhere to eat. There were a couple stools to sit there..but this place may be best if you just grab items to go!

While vacationing in New Mexico the family wanted to stop by for some baked goods and I was looking…read moreforward to it. We ended up ordering a Boston crème muffin, and some cookies. Given that all the locals also recommended it I had high expectations. I tried the two cookies and sadly they looked like they were going to be soft cookies but they were pretty hard. I think the flavor was alright (one of them reminded me of a Mrs. Fields cookie...) but they were so dry and hard. I then tried the muffin and the inside filling tasted good but the outside (which I think had layers like a croissant) tasted burnt and somewhat dry as well. Overall, given the high price and the experience I had I honestly can't really recommend this place. I feel like it's more hype then actually good.

He even joked that they were "out of everything," which got a laugh and set a fun, relaxed tone. The music was rocking when I walked in, which I loved, although it eventually switched to something a little more mellow. Still, the overall atmosphere was inviting and made me want to stick around. I ordered an Iced Americano, and it was solid. You can tell they use quality espresso, but I personally would have liked it just a bit stronger. Next time, I'll probably ask for an extra shot to make it perfect for my taste. The real standout was the cinnamon roll. It had the ideal texture with a gooey, cinnamon-filled center, and they certainly didn't skimp on the cream cheese frosting. There was enough frosting to induce a sugar overdose, in a good way. The shop itself was clean, comfortable, and designed to make you want to stay awhile. They have a huge selection of board games and LEGO sets, so you could easily spend a couple of hours hanging out with friends or family. I also asked about the stage and learned they host karaoke and open mic nights a couple of evenings each week, which adds another fun reason to come back. Between the genuinely friendly staff, quality coffee, incredible cinnamon roll, and welcoming atmosphere, this is a place I'll definitely be visiting again.
