They had a variety of drinks available in the fridge next to the cashier, and some cupcakes on display (including a dog friendly "pupcake"). Visually the cupcakes were nothing extraordinary yet still appealing, the toasted coconut one more so in my opinion. And although taste wise they weren't bad by any means, I can't help but feel a little underwhelmed for the price as I've had better cupcakes that cost the same.

The staff is still doing their best; however, I get the feeling that there are staff shortages. The young lady operating the point-of-sales machine seemed confused by the rewards program. The most notable change has been the skimping on the mix-ins. My wife has a standard order and told me that she estimates that the quantity is about half the mix-ins she received two years ago. I hope that this situation get turned around before this Cold Stone meets the fate of other eating establishments and closes its doors.

Brand 44.....................so inspired, so friendly, so ICONIC!…read more Let me start by saying there is no where else like Brand 44, at least not for 100's of miles from here. Sure, you can easily find a great breakfast place, maybe even just down the street, but you won't get Brand 44's exceptional-in-every-way total package. First of all, the menu is chock full of some truly inspired, creative, and yummy food you won't find almost anywhere. (And same for the morning cocktails!). Secondly, the waitstaff somehow remains so friendly and engaging despite the restaurant nearly always being super busy. Thirdly, the ambience is a wonderful combo of relaxed, fun, and cozy. Lastly, you aren't going to pay more than the average going rate for an artisnal (non-Denny's) breakfast! As mentioned, and for obvious reasons, Brand 44 can be crowded and busy, impacting both parking and wait times, so plan accordingly. Parking isn't actually a problem - you WILL find a spot - but it may require a short walk. If you aren't seated right away, there are cornhole boards out back, as well as outside seating. Dogs are welcome in this area. Now, the wrap this up: if you haven't been, then you MUST GO. And, don't wait too long because Brand 44 is for sale. The 3 wonderful female owners have created something truly special indeed, but that creativity and daily effort of giving it 100% is exhausting and they are ready to move on. She says you can call 48 hours ahead and they'll have gluten free donuts for you on the weekend?! The bread held up nicely to being French toastified too. I got the gf carnitas Benedict. I actually liked the toast hamburger bun the used. It also held up to the moist meat and the hollandaise sauce. I got plain hollandaise subbed so it wouldn't be spicy. The meat was good with the classic Benedict stuff. My friend got the regular Benedict and liked it. And my other friend got a pesto omelette and she appreciated how none of the flavors overpowered the others. And as a healthy person she liked that she could get a side of cottage cheese. A very good experience!

Had done this so much that my debit card (which I use on a normal basis) said "declined" on the sales associates end. Asked the girl at the counter why the machines are so difficult, and she said "It's not my fault that your card declined". I had just used this card not half an hour before so there was no possible way it had declined, and for her to imply that it was my fault because of my card when it was clearly the machines was incredibly rude. The snacks and food are the 7-Eleven standard but the service from her will keep me away.
