I do not know what has changed in the two years since I last posted a review of this Cold Stone store; but, it has not been for the better. The staff is still doing their best; however, I get the feeling that there are staff shortages. The young lady operating the point-of-sales machine seemed confused by the rewards program. The most notable change has been the skimping on the mix-ins. My wife has a standard order and told me that she estimates that the quantity is about half the mix-ins she received two years ago. I hope that this situation get turned around before this Cold Stone meets the fate of other eating establishments and closes its doors. read more

Place to go to get great ice cream. The servers are cheerful , accommodating, and efficient. If one goes at odd times it is quiet otherwise there is a place to sit outside. read more

Only one in central Oregon. For a chain store they have good ice cream. Young staff is usually friendly and accommodating. Can get busy sometimes so try to hit it at off peak hours. read more

My girl friend and i had just walked in to get some ice cream. As soon as we walked in we got a nasty glare from a young girl wearing a large hair clip. The environment felt very unwelcoming. The other lady on the floor was super sweet and gave us great costumer service!! The young girl was rude to us when we were paying... Re think who you hire. read more

Went to this location to get ice cream last night at about 7 pm door said they close at nine. Tried pulling on both doors even pushing doors were locked! Open sign on there were two young kids sitting at one of the tables. We left because obviously the doors are locked, called the location some kid answered we asked if they were open? He rudely replied did you try pulling the doors or pushing? We told him both they are locked! His response oh the owner just left they are unlocked again you can come back if you want. Really you lock the doors because the owner is there? Humm called corporate! They should just shut it down! So many bad reviews and they obviously don't care about customer service! read more

Five stars for having the best cotton candy ice cream on the planet. I'm boring and that is all I get in a bowl since I don't like anything chunky in my ice cream, it's already delicious enough to not need anything else added anyway. Admittedly this is the only thing I have ever gotten here out of the dozen times I have gone over the years but it's what keeps me coming back. It's not cheap but I think the quality of the ice cream is worth it. It's good for a treat. As for the reviews about staff not being friendly, I have never had any issues but I also don't expect more than just my delicious ice cream. That's what their job is. I've been going to Cold Stone since I was a little girl, until the Keizer location closed. Glad to know there's one in Central Oregon! Service is always good, but I wish they enforced social distancing more. People don't know how to catch a hint when I scoot away from them after they stand within a few inches of me. read more

Went inside only to find out 10 other people were inside not wearing masks and they employees weren't asking them to leave. Several employees were not covering their mouth and/ or nose with a mask. Disappointed that they are not enforcing the state regulations right now. read more

I went here with my friend who has three kids. She ordered the smallest size (like it) for her kids. The I asked for the smallest size for my own ice cream and was asked if I wanted a kid size. She wasn't even offered a kid size. The sign advertising it is hidden, neither of us saw it. She was mad that it wasn't offered to her even though her kids are all obviously under 5. And after she exclaimed "what! There is a kid size! I didn't know that!", the woman working just said "there is a sign" and pointed towards it. She didn't offer to fix it. Not cool, cold stone. I have worked at cold stone for over a year now and the staff is nothing but amazing. The manger and owner both are fantastic and very enthusiastic, understanding people. Great product! But what use is it if I don't want to use it because the service is unfriendly and unprofessional. I attempted to order a cake for my daughters birthday and no one had a clue about how to make it happen for me and they seemed annoyed that I was asking. Yikes!! We went in to pick up a pre-made already paid for order at 3 minutes after 7 and the older lady behind the counter yelled Were closed! No sorry we are closed we look forward to seeing you later... she was busy helping customers who must have came in before closing time. I completely understand and respect work hours but we didnt see the closed sign as it was above the door. There are still ways of explaining in a polite customer service way... maybe she was just having a bad day but I dont think Im ready to go back anytime soon. read more
