There is always a staff member available.. cold A/C, laundry trolleys, television, plenty spaces to sit, very spacious, has vending machines for snacks, ice cream, and the owner sells laundry detergent and softener. The machines had 4 sizes: 2x load $2, 3x load $3, 4x $4.25, 6x load $5.25 and drying is .25 for 8 mins.. not bad! Huge plus they have a coin dispenser that actually works! Def recommend this place. Something interesting that also happened. This lady was drying her clothes on the top dryer and wanted to add minutes to her cycle.. she didn't realized she inserted the quarters on the wrong side of the machine and paid for the bottom dryer. (I've made that mistake before too.) She was so pissed, she was yelling at the owner like it was his fault. He seemed annoyed but didn't say much and just walked away and brought back two quarters.. Wow the patience on this man. He kept calm LOL! And he didn't have to do that.

I cannot believe the life the skillful alterations lady on staff put into my suits (jacket and bottoms). Slim, athletic, tight fit only you can get at a made to measure kind of place. You cannot tell any of the alterations were made to my suit and would only think I just had them custom made brand new to fit me. To give perspective I had the back taken in, jacket tapered, sleeves take in and tapered, pants taken in tapered, waist adjustments and shortened the length on all three suits. Also, the pricing was extremely reasonable for the quality of service this place provides.

I've been coming to Village Cleaners for quite some time now and they've always done a great job…read morewith my dry cleaning. However, I recently learned they've increased their prices and that definitely has me feeling some type of way. I've taken all kinds of clothing here and they've consistenly gotten the job done. Depending on how early you drop your clothes off, they usually have your items ready the same day. Not only are they good with clothes, but they do great work with comforters too. I've had my queen size comforter cleaned here a few times and was very satisfied with the results. I had a couple spots on my comforter and they were able to get them right out, all for $17.99. Can't be mad at that! But here's where I have to throw some shade- this recent price increase? Not the business. Especially considering all the other cleaners in the area don't charge half of what Village is now charging. When the hispanic lady manager informed me of the the price change after I'd recently dropped off a load of clothes, I was thinking "whoa!"- and for a second, almost reconsidered my decision to leave my items. Get this: Blazers/Shirts are now $4.50, Skirts/Sweaters- $4.50, Pants/Ties- $3.75, Jackets- $4.99, and Dresses- $6.99 and up! Wtf? It's not so bad if you have a piece or two, but if you're bringing in a load, that can get expensive! $6.99 and up for dresses? Ummm, no. Because of this I recently tried another cleaners in the area whose prices start at $1.50 per clothing item. I had clothes at Village Cleaners and clothes at the new cleaners, just to compare the quality of work vs. price. My Village Cleaners tab was $30.67 for about 4 or 5 pieces. I had the same amount of items at the other cleaners- who did a fantastic job by the way, and my tab was $7.57. That's a $23 difference! I guess it's no secret that I'll be frequenting the new spot a lot more often. Clearly, Village Cleaners is doing the most with their prices. I can't say I won't come back here ever again, because they get the job done, BUT what I can say is I won't be bringing a bulk of clothes here on a regular when I can go somewhere else and get a bigger bang for my buck. Start sending me some coupons and I may reconsider! Just sayin.
