She kept everything running smoothly, gave us plenty of notice for upcoming events (which is very important for us photographers), and even made sure that my team and I got fed on time. It was clear to us that she knew how to run a wedding but also cared about us vendors who work 8-10 hrs straight. I highly recommend her if you are looking for a caring, dedicated wedding planner and coordinator. Bonus points: - she is bilingual (English/Spanish) - as a designer herself, her attention to detail is phenomenal (she designed the gorgeous bridal suite at The Green Parrot Villa)

I booked her "Day of Coordination" package, but her support extended way beyond just the wedding day. I came in with a clear vision and main vendors picked out, so I mainly needed a pro to step in, handle my DIYs, and execute a 200+ guest event. Very few weddings take place at our venue, so the fact that Jen had already worked there showed just how experienced she is. She vibed with us from the very first phone call and filled every gap--from instantly recommending a fantastic alternative rental vendor to dialing in our timeline. She was always there as a grounded, reassuring presence whenever I started overthinking. On the actual day, Jen and her team (Nicole and Mimi are absolute rockstars!) ran the show effortlessly. They even stepped in to bustle my dress so my bridesmaids didn't have to, doing it in record time and giving me more time to actually enjoy cocktail hour! Nothing went wrong--or if it did, I was completely unaware because they kept us so at ease the whole day. Plus, they made sure we were fed! I couldn't have asked for a better team. Thank you!!!

As our wedding date got closer and we started meeting more frequently to nail down the details, her experience really shone through. She helped us tie everything together, flagging potential challenges we never would have thought of on our own, and even offered recommendations specific to our venue since she'd worked there before. That insider knowledge was invaluable! On the day itself, everything came together incredibly smoothly, thanks to Jen and her team working their magic behind the scenes. Having Jen in our corner throughout the planning process was such a huge help. We can't recommend her enough to any couple looking for a coordinator who truly knows what they're doing!

She also made sure to provide regular checklists of items to make sure we stayed on track, while also not putting too much pressure on us! Claire handled putting together a gorgeous design brief based on inspiration photos we gathered, which definitely helped as we went through the process of selecting and working with vendors--all of whom were also incredible! An important thing I also want to mention is that I had a sudden health issue flare up partway through our venue search, which set things back by a year. The team was incredibly understanding and checked in periodically while offering well wishes until I was ready to return to planning, and I deeply appreciate how patient they all were during such a difficult time. Overall we couldn't not have asked for a better planning team to work with, and we're so incredibly grateful to Mad Love Events for making our special day so perfect!

We combed through quite a few other planners and ultimately decided on Helen and Eighteen Place Cards. Specifics: Helen checked in with us regarding every single detail from the venue [The Noor], ALL of our vendors, and remained on top of it all every step of the way. She was constantly going the extra mile at every turn and never once did she drop the ball, or fail at any of the tasks! We were demanding and we put a lot on her shoulders, but she proved to us she knew her job and performed extremely well. Helen and her team always responded with a 'can do attitude', while maintaining a professional demeanor. To say that we are grateful to have done business with Helen, would be a complete understatement. She and Chad are dedicated to getting the job done, no matter what. Everything came together perfectly as a result of her planning, execution and commitment. My daughter's wedding day was a total success because of Helen, Eighteen Place Cards, Chad and the rest of her staff. The proof is in the pudding. All of our guests commented on how nice everything was and how much fun they had. I know for a fact this was a direct result of Helen's passion and dedication to her profession. To sum it all up, I will most definitely utilize Helen for future events. She is worth every dollar we spent, and more. My entire family thanks you very kindly Helen. Respectfully, Ralph G.
