Lumpia, Pancit, and rice
Ronald M.

Amazing customer service, the hostess had no problem recommending items. Food came out fast and was freshly made. The restaurant had an old school vibe but was still nice. Food was authentic and tasted great, I had the bbq pork, pancit, and lumpia and will say that some of best Filipino food I have had in Killeen.

Chicken Adobo, rice, & pancit

I normally love Sarah's Kitchen. But yesterday was quite the disappointment. I had my boyfriend pick up a combo plate for me. My normal experience with them was getting an excellent portion of everything. Rice was good, pancit was great, lumpia was amazing as usual, but I was more looking forward to the chicken adobo. Soon as I opened up the plate, I seen 5 little pieces of chicken. Imagine my disappointment after going through a long morning of work and looking forward to having a great meal for lunch. I was hangry enough before my boyfriend brought it to me, and after receiving it, I wanted to cry!

I will be reviewing their Special Halo-Halo. We were in the area attending the Central Texas Asian Pacific Festival. On the strip we were surprise to see this Filipino Restaurant. We definitely need to try. We only ordered their special Halo Halo.I have never had halo halo this humongous before. It had shaved ice, Ube ice cream, Leche flan, pop rice and the typical gel fruit. I literally don't know how to identify the gel fruit but it's delicious. We definitely enjoyed our Halo-halo. It was the perfect time to eat it because it was pretty hot outside. It was a real treat. When we first walked in, there were only maybe two other tables taken and within 5 minutes, the entire restaurant was packed. I saw a sign that there was a second floor and karaoke, next time we will check it out.

I haven't eaten at a filipino restaurant in a long time, and I am so glad I came here! This little gem has so many options, and you can tell they put a lot of heart in their food. We ordered our food to dine in, and it was fun because the TV was showing a bunch of live music by filipino artists. We ordered the palabok, pancit, chicken adobo, dinuguan, turkey lumpia, and buko pandan. My favorite was the turkey lumpia because I was pleasantly surprised that it was just as tasty as pork lumpia. I also loved their chicken adobo. All of the dishes were very good, and I would love to come back to try their chicken bbq because it was sold out when we visited. The service is very nice and welcoming!

Food is good. Service is minimal, slightly ok at best. Ambiance needs work. Got to the restaurant after the lunch rush. Had to ask the staff to clean the table. Multiple tables were left dirty after other customers left. The flies were plentiful and busy around the uncleaned tables.

Authentic Philippine food that's really good! Service was good, restaurant is in an old downtown building not much to look at but the food makes up for that! Highly recommend. Lumpia and pancit are super good.

Cute place.

OMG, yum! I was looking for a different restaurant and, as I was walking by looking confused, a gentleman from this restaurant came outside and greeted me. They didn't have a sign or menu outside so I asked if they were the place I was looking for. He said no and that he didn't recognize the name of the other place. He said they served Filipino food. I realized that the restaurant I was looking for was closed, so I called my husband back and told him it was time he tried lumpia. He was game. The service was great, the place was clean, and the food fantastic. The portions are VERY generous. Everyone was masked up and they served us on disposable containers. Very clean and friendly. No flies. We both highly recommend the palabok.

Big servings and really good filipino food. The owner was filipino and was very accommodating to us. We called were open just to be sure. Got a phone call back and asked if we can just order ahead because they were closing. When we got there our food was ready . The food makes me miss home since I know zero about cooking filipino food! The Monggo and sinigang is just so good especially with rice.

Don't get me wrong the food is the only thing that makes me want to come back. We ordered the lumpia, lenchon kewali and 2 barbecue kebabs. The food is made when you order, not warmed up. I guess the prices changed since the last time we were there and have increased so unreasonably. The prices on their menu don't reflect to their new ones. It was $45 for everything we ordered. The restaurant itself looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a week, everything is cluttered and the chairs are sticky. Food: 9/10 Service: 6/10 Price: 1/10 Cleanliness: 5/10

Dinuguan no flavor and watery they change the cook. before it was good not anymore zero stars two thumbs down

Started out good I guess they change the cook so the quality of the food went down I don't think I could eat here again SMH. Zero stars two thumbs down.

Delicious!!! Customer service was excellent, my pork skewers were perfectly charred and very tasty! Excited to come back to try the lechon, lechon kawali, and fried chicken!

Food was terrible. You can see a bunch of flies everywhere. Not using proper gloves or hand washing.

My 1st Asian Pacific event I attended in our area. This food truck was at this event . I love to…read morecook and love to eat..I purchase food to support the food truck small businesses especially the Pacific Islander ones. I have bought tasteless food, I may have bought food not worth the price but I eat it anyways but this right here TRAUMATIZED me... I was disappointed, shocked, more speechless I couldn't even eat it. Like for real, spreading the meat apart doesn't even justify looking like it's worth the $15! This ain't even the portion of a cut pork belly purchased at HEB nor Walmart. But... where's the sauce for the pork belly? I'm a Pacific Islander you can't leave out the sauce for the pork Belly. This doesn't even deserve the 1 star but it is what it is. BY the way, this is the 2nd time from 2 different location that I've purchased the pork belly and was disappointed. I just wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt... but now it's time to spread my review.

First time trying this special food truck…read more What a menu! The menu is partially Filipino. I am 100% Filipino so I for the first visit I opted for quintessential Filipino Choices! I opted for the Pancit Palabok and the Taho. The pancit was super authentic. Flavors were on point. The thicker rice noodles were also a pro-choice. Portions are perfect. They did not scrimp on the sauce nor the toppings. What would have made this an A+ bowl of pancit is instead of lemon wedges, clamansi and fish sauce would have pushed this bowl to another level. It's probably too much of an ask since calamansi are not readily available in Texas, lol. My second item was the taho. A tofu dessert served served in a glass/cup in a vanilla brown sugar syrup along with tapioca balls. FYI this dessert is served warm. I look forward to my next visit. If I can resist my craving for Filipino food, I may go for more of the massive menu

Just received great service today, trying to do a return. The ambiance was great as well and let me…read moretell you why. I came in to do a return. I learned from one of the workers that any register can do a return, so I headed over to a random register. My cashier was Joe C. A young man who was on it! When I was up next, it was then that I could tell that he was new. I don't know what gave me that thought but what I found to be so great was how he wasn't shy to ask for help. He spoke to the woman at the register in front, "Excuse me, Ma'am?" And she turned right away to see what he needed and stepped in to help right away. She quickly walked him right through the process and he followed perfectly. Eventually, he still needed a manager to come and sign off something but I did get my refund. I got to my car and realized that he had forgot to scan one item so I was short and that's my fault. I started to get anxiety because the line started to get longer and I was feeling the pressure just a little bit. I debated about going back in to get the rest of my money and I began to drive off but then I remembered I brought all the items back so why shouldn't I get my FULL refund. I parked my car again and pushed forward to get out, grab my baby and head back in to get my $3 and some change back lol I sort of walked aimlessly back inside because I was hesitant to go to a register again and that's when I bumped into the manager, Ms. Brittany and she remembered me from earlier! Thank goodness! She came to the rescue and I never felt so good. I actually felt silly that I felt bad earlier. Anyways, I learned that the woman who helped Joe at the other register was Ms, Vanessa? Or Valerie? My apologies I forgot the name but I'm pretty sure her name started with a 'V.' Thank you Ma'am for helping him/us! Anyways, just based off this experience I had to make a review. They did such an amazing job and I am very pleased that I got my entire refund! I'd highly recommend this H-E-B. Sidenote: I always like their food here. I've bought the sushi, doughnuts and etc. you can always expect a sense of higher quality products here than other grocery stores.
