Our contractor said the only way this could happen is if someone walk on it with pointed heels. She completely denied her or her clients wearing pointed heels inside. We know for sure it is them because it was our last showing. When our agent spoke to them, they even have the audacity to say forgetting to lock the door is usual. So far we had many showings, but she was the only one who kept it opened! We have went to many showings too, and have seen our agent diligently closing doors. Isn't it the responsibility of the buyer agent to lock the door after showing??? If they cannot even ensure to lock doors what's the point of an agent showing house? If you have Crystal Salinas showing your home, better have someone watch your property during showing. Do not use this place or atleast June Kim as your realtor. I hired June in 2019 and so did my brother. No issues. Then a momth ago I recommended her to a friend who's had a ton of bad luck with her house and was looking to sell. June was very nice at first as she always is and reassured my friend she could sell her home to an investor and get her into a new house. Things proceeded as normal. She was attentive and caring. She showed her several properties and answered questions until one day poof. Gone. June stopped answering all property inquiries and calls. Ignored. Like a high schooler mad at a friend. I actually tried to give benefit of the doubt and didnt think the June i remember meeting would ever do that. So i texted her from my own number and got a response from june in 30 seconds and confirmed she really did dump my friend. It's so fake and disappointing to know that when someone isn't a fast enough profit theyre dropped like trash. Especially when they act like they genuinely care. and trusted in June. Crazy to think in a flip of a switch someone you tell personal stuff to and trust to help you find your forever home decides you're not worth their time. Big turn off for the entire firm . We hired her because of her aggressiveness and her claim to using the best technology. It turned out that she was very defensive and mean towards us and keep forgetting who was the customer. Here are some reasons why we would not recommend her: Seemed like her and her team always had an excuse for why the simplest things were not done or not done right. Did not receive house brochures to give buyers at our house for over 60 days so they could take it home with them ( big mistake ). One of their photographers used a common cheap digital camera to take pictures with the lights off, cabinet doors open and blinds closed to put on the MLS. We had to hire a professional photographer at our expense to take great pictures and got immediate responses. We constantly had to ask for feedback from people that saw our house 2 to 7 days after; but according to Re/Max it should be within 24 to 48 hrs. Only after we asked for our original contract with her and Re/Max after 70 days ( why didn't she give it to us yet ) did she start to treat us better out of fear of us dropping her. Sarah's goal is to sell your house quickly and put money in her pocket, which is reasonable, although in this market any realtor can basically do that. But if you want personal attention or you're a new buyer/seller and haven't bought and sold several houses, you won't get much attention from her, and you won't see her after the initial consult. This was the 4th house we've sold and it was our worst experience with a realtor. She isn't interested in knowing her clients or their needs and has no sympathy if unexpected things pop up in their lives. We had 2 significant, serious and unexpected health issues requiring doctor visits, tests, therapy, etc., as well as having no place to live immediately after the sale, and she did very little if any advocating for us to extend our closing so we could manage these traumas without totally exhausting ourselves. As a result our lives were upended and we had to spend thousands of dollars out of pocket for temporary lodging, storage, office space, etc. This could have been avoided if things were set up properly when the contract was drawn up or if she had taken the time to know us and our main concerns. We did not get a "Congratulations on selling your house" card or anything else after the sale; not even an e-mailed "Thank you for your business". Her staff is great and do all the work, so if you're looking for a hands-off realtor with an efficient staff, she may be the one for you. SLT sold our house, but did not do anything we couldn't have done ourselves. Only met her once and she passed us on to a team we never met. She could only be reached on text or e-mail. She did not answer her phone as she was too busy with new clients. One of the worst parts is that we had to push her to get a decent price for our home. "In her experience" we should have taken any of the much lower prices. She was more interested in dumping the house and moving on to new clients than getting us what our house was appraised for. She seemed to be working more for the buyer than us!!!! We complained to the company that referred us to her and had a conference call with Sarah Leonard personally. She was completely dismissive of any complaints and did not care at all that we were bothered by her impersonal approach to dumping houses. You only speak to her at your listing appointment, then it is passed on to three different people. My point of contact was Chantal. Where do I start? She was very responsive in the beginning stages, but once your home is on the market for more than 2weeks they stop caring. Chantal NEVER responds on time, it is always at the end of the day right before their office is closing. The lack of caring if my home was sold or not is what made me remove my listing with the Sarah Leonard Team. I should have never listed with them, such a waste of time! We interviewed Sarah when we were looking for an agent to sell our home in Schaumburg. She made a great presentation and was very professional, but we did not select her as our listing agent, and here's why: We were very concerned with the way she did her comparative market analysis and arrived at the list price for our home. Long story short, she selected properties that were not at all comparable to ours (homes on busy streets, homes without upgrades, etc.) simply because their property tax records showed a similar square footage to ours. She then took an average price per square foot across all of those non-comparable homes and multiplied that average price per square foot by our taxable square footage. Sarah then gave us a list price for our home that was way lower than what was acceptable to us. She told us that "the market dictates" the price she gave, and any higher of a list price would not generate any showings or interest. What concerned us about this "take it or leave it" approach was that Sarah effectively dictated to us something that is ultimately our decision and didn't seem at all interested in getting creative or working to get us the best possible price. We knew that Sarah has a high sales volume, and we concluded that she really didn't have any desire to be an advocate for our home, but instead wanted to price it so aggressively that she could sell it as quickly as possible without having to commit much time or energy to us. To a high-volume agent, I'm sure the extra few hundred dollars she would have made in commission by pricing our house where it should be doesn't matter much, but it sure mattered to us. At the end of the day, we listed our home more than $20,000 higher than Sarah's "absolute maximum the market would bear" price, had 8 showings in the first two days, and were under contract in 36 hours within 1% of our list price. Oh, and the home appraised at full value with no problems. We used agents with lots of experience who weren't afraid to work with us to get the best possible price, even in a buyer's market. So if you're selling your home, just do your homework first and make sure you don't get low-balled by an agent looking for a quick sale to add to his or her statistics. read more

If I had the option to give 0 stars I would. After finding a beautiful condo in schaumburg my realtor was contacting Sarah to work out the deal with the owners. We put in our offer, then had a counter offer and then our offer got accepted. Within 2 days everything was going how it should, pre approved loan; offer was accepted; contract was signed on our end and what was left for the sellers to sign and get everything settled. couple days went by and there was no answer from sarah. our realtor was messaging her, calling her and leaving voicemails and there wasn't an answer for anything. Sarah then decided to answer and say the contract is signed she'll send it over shortly, 45 minutes later randomly came up with the excuse that one of the owners wasn't agreeing to something and she couldn't even tell us what they weren't agreeing to. shortly after simply told us that the sellers don't want to go with the sale. it was driving me crazy how unprofessional sarah is with not picking up her phone or answering and the feeling that something shady was going on. i decided to message sara myself off of a different number and said i was interested in the condo. well look at that, she was replying to me within minutes and told me it was sold. thanks whatever shady business is going on with you I'll be sure to never recommend you or your business to anyone. business isn't all about sale points. it's about customer satisfaction. you should look into that as well. read more
