Really nice staff, however the food is mediocre Lobster risotto: I've had better ones. There's indeed lots of lobster meat but the flavor is really lacking. And I don't really like the add up of lemon Flatbread: pretty basic. Nothing special Truffle fries: really crispy but I don't taste any truffle flavor. Just garlic fries Lime&basil drink is pretty refreshing. Wouldn't go again

A vibrant Italian restaurant with several locations in Quebec. Food was delicious and portions were perfect. Everything was well-balanced and prepared well. Dishes were fresh and very flavorful. Staff was attentive and helpful too!

While on vacation, we visited Quebec City and Old Quebec. We stopped by here to grab a hearty meal before we spent the rest of the day exploring the streets. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The food was amazing, I ordered the Duck Pasta and my wife ordered the Rigatoni Bolognese. We savored every bite. The wall art grabbed and held our attention while we waiting for our food. The door on the wall particularly was a nice conversation starter. There was light music playing in the background. It was nice and cozy inside as it was snowing out.

Quick service and good food. The rosé was not my favorite, but overall, we had a nice dinner at this Sapristi and didn't have to wait long for a table despite not having a reservation.

There are 2 Sapristi restaurants located in Quebec City within miles of each other. We chose the one in the lower old town located near the river. There's a nice looking outdoor patio and multiple levels of dining inside. They serve several pasta dishes, pizzas, salads, and appetizers. We enjoyed the food and the service was good. The servers speak French and English. What we had: + spaghetti and meatballs - the meatballs were really good. Tender and very flavorful. The pasta was good but not housemade. + spinach and goat cheese salad - very good. The cheese was kinda creamy and the spinach wasn't wilty. + crème brûlée - mmmm delicious. The top cracked beautifully. It tasted like maple sugar and the cream was very creamy. Overall a good choice for Italian food.

This place has amazing reviews and I wanted to trust them. I am happy we came here because the service was the best service by far. My partner loved the bbq pizza and my fungi pizza was good, but it could have used a bit of salt in my opinion. The ambiance is great and they had a seat available the minute we walked in. I very much recommend this place! I forgot to mention we got the mozzarella sticks and they are the best I have ever had!

Great service! Good wine choice. I had a delicious Greek flatbread. My sister had the Spaghetti Pollo. Both meals delicious. Also, ordered the Creme-Brûlée dessert. Fantastic! I'd go back.

Had the best gluten free pizza at this spot! The service was a bit slow and they forgot that we ordered fries as well but the pizza was delicious. Good ambience as well.

The service was very friendly, great location of the restaurant near umbrella alley. Order a sangria which was light and refreshing, and tried the Greek gluten free pizza. The pizza was your typical gluten free crust nothing special.

And Yumm, they top it all off with candied nuts. If you want something heavier, the duck is the best I've ever had. see my previous review for details. P.S- Ils nous ont donné des cartes postales avec une photo du Château Frontenac, avec notre facture. - They gave us, post cards with a picture of the Chateau Frontenac, with our bill.

All our dishes were delicious & good size portion : beef mac & cheese, margherita flatbread, calamari, French onion soup, penne canard. Plenty of indoor & outdoor seating.

Hot item French onion soup: 8/10 bites. Good. Pizza Americana: 7/10 bites pepperoni, mozzarella, bell peppers, thin soft bread was good. We were seated on the patio and our very sweet server was right out to take our drink order. Since we are eating Poutine all over Canada in search of our favorite. We so enjoyed sitting on the patio, it was a beautiful day, we were people watching and enjoying the umbrellas place up the alley. Our poutine was delivered to the table and I can honestly say it was our favorite. The fries were crunch and creamy on the inside. The gravy was rich and had a deep flavor and the cheese curds had lightly melted. Every bite was perfect. The eatery and bar are tucked into a stone house that dates back to 1668, if only the walls could talk. The bar and restaurant feature local Quebec cuisine and is a gem. Then we shared an original poutine and it also was delicious- best I had on our trip thus far! I ordered mussels for my meal and a steaming pot arrived and they were yummy. Ambiance and service were great. They accommodated our awful French attempts. Drinks were large. Honestly, I feel lucky to have dined here. Everything was wonderful!

I wasn't too hungry so I ordered an app for my entree, the bruschetta. It came loaded with seasoned tomato pieces. Hubby ordered the pasta with clams in a spicy sauce. There was a misunderstanding with his meal. When hubby asked questions about the carbonara, our server thought he ordered the carbonara when he actually decided on the pasta with clams. When the wrong meal was brought over, our server escalated to his manager who then offered to exchange his meal. They kept apologizing for the mixup but honestly, they already handled it well by replacing it without issues. The pasta dish was so good! I scooped the extra sauce with my crostini and really enjoyed it. The clams were meaty and fresh too. Daughter ordered the pasta with meat sauce- also very good. We arrived on time and waited maybe 5 minutes before being seated. All the outdoor tables were full so the two of us sat at a low 4-top inside not far from the kitchen. Water was brought right away. Our server then took our drink, appetizer and entree orders. We each had a pint of Stella beer on draft and we shared an order of their Focaccia bread, served with butter and a dish of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The beer was cold and because it was draft, not from a green bottle, no skunk smell or taste :) The Focaccia bread isn't what we make in the States, but it was find. More of a soft, yet dense bread, topped with herbs. For $3 CAN, it was a deal. Later on, the Casesar salad was brought out. It was a generous portion and was plenty for the two of us to split. The dressing was tasty as was the shaved Parmesan cheese and the house made croutons. Later, our Cannelloni entree came. It was in an oval dish that had been baked. The full order came with 2 Cannellonis. Here again, plenty for two people to share. It was stuffed with a meat and cheese mixture. We were too full to be tempted by their dessert menu. Our friends arrive from the US in a couple of days, so we've made another reservation here at Portofino for the four of us. The only downside to Portofino was that it is popular and busy, so it was a bit loud inside.

So we kept getting bumped by the servers. The waitresses were very nice however they were a little sloppy when pouring water into our classes, there were many times that I had to clean the table with a napkin because water got all over the table, so that was wasted napkins... The food wasn't too bad, I'm not gonna lie. I have to say, I've had a bit better. The desserts were amazing though. The bathrooms weren't as cleanly, I mean, the floors could've used a bit of a cleaning and as a germaphobe, it didn't sit well with me. Overall, would I come here again? I'm not too sure because I live far away lol but it was decent enough.
