Parker was our server, and he was very kind and attentive. He brought our drinks quickly and our appetizers even faster. I had the katsu-don and it was very good. I think it could have used a little more sauce, but the pork was cooked perfectly and flavor was spot on. Hubby had the spicy tuna poke bowl. Perfectly ripened avocado, great attention to detail, it was passed around the table so we could all try it. We also had the 911 roll and the cherry blossom roll. Both were great but the 911 roll was a table favorite. The restaurant wasn't packed, so all our food came out quickly. The table was clean but the bench seats were a little hard. Yellow tail appetizer was fantastic and by far our favorite dish of the meal. Everything was good and fresh. Be cautious if you aren't a fan of wasabi as they used it in all pieces of the sashimi. It's clear they don't use fresh ingredients. We tried the Korean bbq as well and the quality of the meat was so bad. We got a combo with rib eye,short rib, shrimp and chicken. No one ate the chicken bc it had a weird texture and both pieces of beef were so fatty! Like an insane amount of fat. And my brother ordered the spicy ramen, it had very little flavor. We came here based on all the great reviews. We came for sushi but to be honest the Korean bbq was tempting, it looked amazing. The restaurant is split, so sushi is on the right with bbq on the left. The sushi side of the restaurant was full, so we were seated on the barbecue side, which was fine. Our server was very friendly and energetic and recommended the yellow tail spoon appetizer. The presentation was beautiful and the fish was very fresh. However, I'm not sure it was $17 fresh. We ordered two more rolls, the rainbow roll and another role as suggested by the server. They were both delicious. The reason for three stars instead of four is the restaurant didn't seem as clean as I expected. The walls next to our table were splattered with, grease and food, which is not unusual at a table that has a Korean barbecue,but wipe down the walls. read more

I have been here twice for lunch. This visit the wait was long yo be seated and ti get food but that is expected at lunch for a smaller restaurant. I ordered the green salad, Hana roll and Green roll. The salad had a little too much sweetness for my personal tastes. The rolls are large BUT very messy and difficult to eat with chop sticks. The Hana roll was full of imitation crab and the spicy tuna had a strange texture. The green roll was pretty good but I expected a little more heat with the wasabi sauce on top. So here I am again but this place is sooo yummy. I just can't help myself. I ordered delivery tonight and decided, once again, let's try some new stuff. So I got a variety of nigiri tonight. My very favorite is the Eel. it just tastes amazing every time. I got salmon roe this time. I love fish eggs but not always in quantity like you get in the nigiri, but tonight was different, and the salmon roe did not disappoint. Now, let's talk about the new stuff. I got the scallop. I'm a huge scallop fan but never had raw scallops before. Let me tell you, they were tender and delicious. I also tried the sweet shrimp and the surf clam. Both were ok. The shrimp tasted a little metallic to me, but I would say I would try them both again. Now the Yellow tuna and the mackerel, they were my least favorite. I'm pretty sure the mackerel is the one I couldn't even finish the first bite it was so gross to me. It was super tender, but the flavor was just a great big no. The yellow tuna, well, just not a fan. I love raw tuna, but not this tuna. I almost forgot the fried shrimp heads, not bad. To me, there's not much flavor. Anyways, if you're in the Gallatin area and you want some sushi, ramen, bento box, etc. You've gotta give Sapporo a try. Whether you get it delivered or go there to eat, I seriously doubt you'd be disappointed. We chose this restaurant out of about 5 different Ramen places we had looked up. This restaurant did not disappoint. First to note the staff was very friendly. We asked for extra plates and bowls to share and they were very accommodating. I feel bad that I did not get my normal better photos of the food. It was so Delicious I was eating and forgot until after we had eaten. So just know the food is displayed and served much prettier than I represented here with my photos. Also know the whole meal! Everything we ate was so delicious that's why we didn't capture quite as good of photos. It was a 30 minute drive to the restaurant for us and well worth the drive.
