Electrician they contracted with wound up messing up our houses electrical system (power was flickering on and off after they left). Messed up my $1400 worth of rebates with Kohler, promised to rectify and ghosted me. Owner refused to pitch in half of rebate from Kohler (per Kohler's proposal to rectify), so I was screwed out of a $700 extended warranty, and $700 cash back. Also has to call multiple times over the installation to get this completed (i.e: no shows, and lack of coordination with propane company). Their "fixing the lawn" after installation was basically sending a low-level person, who showed up, threw grass seed over the non-raked lawn (yes they didn't even pick up the rocks), and left within 15 mins (See photos)

I think Ackert does sloppy work and is dishonest in how they advise and charge customers. I…read morerecommend you avoid using them. We had Ackert in to install a light fixture. They installed it noticanly off center in the room and left half the hole from the original light fixture sticking out from beginning the new light fixture. They advised the person at home at the time that this was the only way the light could be mounted in our ceiling because there was not enough wire to allow it to reach the middle of the room. The job looked very bad so i called and spoke to the business owner. He said that way the light was installed was the only way it could be done and the homeowner was fine with it being that way. The home owner did not know that it was done wrong and did not have to be that way. When i suggested a way the light could be installed in center of the room the owner said it could be done that way. He agreed to have the electricians stop by and move the light to the center of the room for free to fix the first sloppy job. He recommended I put in a smoke in detector to cover the first light box they had to leave in the ceiling. The electricians said this was a$30 smoke detector. I agreed to have them move the light and pay for the $30 smoke detector. It took 20 minutes to move the light to the center of the room. Why had it not done that way originally? I don't know. The first time they were here for an hour working and at the end, before leaving, the electricians gave us a $180 bill that was itimized for labor and the multiple parts used. After they did the correction job I asked the electrician to give me the bill so I could pay for the smoke detector. They said the owner was going to "settle up" with me later. I called the company that day to ask how much I owed for the smoke detector and got mo call back. A week after the light fixture was moved to the center of the room I got no return call, but a bill in the mail for $195 for the 20 minute job to move the light and installing the $30 smoke detector! It was not itimized for parts and labor as the first had been. It was a huge bill to correct the sloppy work they had agreed to correct for free. It seemed wrong. I called to say this was not our agreement and am awaiting their response. I will be sending them a check for $30 as agreed and never calling them again. I recommend you don't call them at all.

Denis performed major electrical work at my home late 2017. He replaced my service drop and added a…read morenew meter. He replaced and upgraded me to a 40 spot electrical main panel. He installed and wired in a 50 amp generator inlet and then installed a interlock switch, which allows me to power my entire panel and my entire home from my 15 KW generator. He also ran a wire and installed a sub-panel for a Jacuzzi I had installed. All his work was meticulously performed and he cleaned up after himself as the work progressed. I will hire him for all my electrical needs going forward.
