The sales rep, Joe, informed me the previous work was not good or up to code and explained the problem and what they would to do fix it. This included demolishing the old chimney and replacing it, as well as putting in a new liner. They also did work in the basement to replace cracking seals and ducts. DO plan on wearing a face mask during the process. Dust does fly a little and some lands around the sites worked on. (This will surely happen with *any* HVAC vent cleaning.) They do vacuum floors well afterwards and I didn't expect them to dust all of my nearby furniture too; I did that. Tip re any vent cleaning by any company: I decided to handwash all of the vent covers removed. They told me that they would vacuum each one. I did not expect anyone to stand at my sink and handwash the "junk" that could not vacuumed off. Overall, Everclean did a great job for a very reasonable price given the amount of time and effort put in. They did a fantastic job on that install, however a couple of months after the plugs and switches didn't work on one side of the wall. We call Home Depot and they call Thorogood within 2 days they were out, found the problem to be a faultly circuit breaker on the main box. They replaced it at no charge. Will and his assistant (sorry forgot his name) were both great, very professional, but thing I got was that they did the job as if they were doing it in their own house. Great job and great people.
