Paul stated the problem was far more likely bad capacitors and that the diodes could very likely still be serviceable. He was 100% correct. He helped with the diagnosis and talked me through the repair process. While it took me a while online to find replacement capacitors as I could not find a local supply store in Worcester, once the capacitors arrived and were installed I was back in full operation. I called Paul to thank him for his excellent advice and his time to help me resolve my generator problem.
