Cup holder, seat recliner and tray that can be positioned at your discretion

Yes I most certainly do recommend this business. I'm a movie guy. As such I'm a movie theater guy. I've traveled for work for decades and any city I'm in I am drawn to the escapism of a movie. It's understandable that some folks might have a sense of loyalty to the business that was here prior, but this shouldn't be judged on the merits of the company that came before it. Objectively speaking I had a great time from start to finish. The parking was ample and the place was spotless. I selected my ticket online and the theatre had an arcade and a bar. I was helped by Gil and CeCe at the concessions who walked me through the choices. They were friendly and engaging, adding to my initial experience. Gil squared me away with their rewards program and CeCe mentioned the food pickup procedures. Popcorn seems pretty simple right? Right. Except they had so many great choices I didn't know where to start. When I came back to get a sweet treat Alyssa, the production manager, talked to me about Monday and Tuesday specials on prices and made sure I was having a good experience. The seats are the BEST quality leather(?)-style recliners I've ever sat in (without having to pay a premium price for premium seats.) Different theaters offer different choices, but that comes with additional charges. I also really enjoyed that the theatre layout makes it so that the field of view isn't obfuscated by anyone sitting in-front of me. I ate delicious food and enjoyed an interesting movie. Lastly, they had self serve fountain drinks and popcorn, which on a busy evening would drastically cut down on refill times and allow you to get back to your flick. As always, the true test of satisfaction is a return visit, which I will be doing on Mondays and Tuesdays for their discounted prices of admission.

To me the more Santikos Entertainment builds its brand the faster it is saturating its own market. Yes this used to be "Alamo Drafthouse Westlakes" before it went into bankruptcy. Shortly thereafter Santikos bought it and now it has an evergrowing stable list. I am an avid filmgoer but I realize not all theaters afford the same experience, even within its franchise. At this point it continues to use their tried and true formula: renovate, rewind, repeat. At first glance from the outside it seems like a really, really small theater. Once inside it is mid-sized a good contrast to its mega theaters. Since it is in a strip mall there is sufficient parking spaces. At this point I assume patrons buy tickets via their app. If not they have a kiosk to buy them. Or you can buy tickets at the concession stand which is prominent. I can see this will become problematic when they get blockbusters movies simply because the spacing will lead to big lines. Following suit with some of its other theaters it has adopted a self-serve popcorn and soda station. I think most patrons will love this idea. Me, I like seeing fresh popcorn being made. The tub I had that afternoon tasted stale as though it was made that morning and left to degrade. Even though the place is small it still has found room for an arcade and a bar area. They offer mixed drinks, wine and a few taps: Shiner, Viva Brewing, Dos XX to be exact. The refilling station is small and I forsee moshpits occurring on a Friday Night because of again, spacing. One reason is due to the logistics of the theater. The hallways are narrow and long winding. I point this out as it made my restroom situation weird. There is signage which points out where bathrooms are but it felt like I had to sojourn through a labyrinth to find them. I'm sure all above issues will not be dealbreakers to the typical patron. My main critique is of the auditorium. The auditorium where my showing was was small which is not an issue. The issue is that seats are moved back and a big gap separates the screen from the audience. The screen itself appeared smaller or was in fact smaller which made my viewing experience confounding. Even though my sight is not great I found myself squinting to make out visuals throughout the duration. In addition I understand patrons appreciate theater seating with recliners. I'm not a fan of them. The leg space here is tight and I found myself dodging feet as I made my way back from the restroom. The seating needs to be better centered to allow movement to get refills or even to use the restroom. There was a small gap on my end of seating. I'm not sure if it is meant to be a passageway or a layout error. I say this as a dude taking a shortcut passed by my seat and startled me. Especially in a pitch black room. I will say I did like their cup holders. It gives you an option to keep your drinks cold. Beyond that my experience here was a big disappointment. I hope in the future Santikos Entertainment will be more discerning where they place their theaters. Instead of looking for newer locations to expand its brand it needs to reinvest in existing ones. Will this place draw a consistent crowd when their Casablanca Theater is just ten minutes down the road? I don't know. I do know that I will continue to frequent their other locations at least until I get rid of the stale taste from my mouth.

I used to loved this place when it was alamo drafthouse and had been wanting to check out the renovated Santikos version. I was so impressed. They utilized the space well. It is open, clean and bright. The have a sports bar and arcade room. The bar area is pretty big with plenty of seating. They have a full service bar. The arcade room is big too. They have skee ball! One of my favorite new additions is the self serve popcorn. You don't stick your hands in the machine. It's very sanitary. They give you the bucket and you put it under a nozzle. For those that are afraid they would have to wait forever to fill up their popcorn, that's not the case. The theater isn't huge, so that means less people. They do sell food too like the other santikos theaters. The theater rooms are super nice. The chairs recline. The cup holder can be turned on to keep your drinks cool. The chairs are spaced nicely. They upgraded the bathrooms. Yay! They don't smell anymore. They only thing I wish they had is theater servers, but everything else makes up for it. Parking is available on site

Wish there were more kiosks in which to buy tickets. Especially when there are a lot of people in line...

I used to love this place when it was an Alamo Drafthouse and I love the new incarnation that it's become. The theaters are roomy and even the very last row of seats, which are right in front of the screen, are good seats. We're not stuck like we used to be in the past with a crick in our neck looking up instead of out. The only caveat I have is that there are only two machines in which to buy your tickets if you plan to buy them at the theater and not online or through the Santikos app. Other than that this is my go-to for movie watching. It's not as busy as the Palladium or Casablanca. So really it's 4 and 1/2 stars and not just four...

Reclining seat options (even the option to recharge phone with USB cable .

Chill out on the salt on the popcorn. I have to throw away multiple buckets every time just to get one that's less salty.

I went there to see a Wuthering Heights matinee this past Sunday afternoon. I sat towards the back…read morein the handicap row so that I could park my rollator walker next to me. I specifically chose this theater for the "luxury reclining seats" but my seat wouldn't recline. I moved one seat over and that one wouldn't recline either. Thank goodness barely anyone was in the theater, because I had to move several seats over to find a recliner that worked. I sat there very comfortably for about an hour and a half and then went to use the restroom. Went back to my seat and it also wouldn't recline! I can't sit with my feet down for very long without experiencing increased pain, which is why I chose this theater. The rest of my time there was positive, but I'm concerned about returning because of the issue with the seats not being able to recline. I'm worried that I'd return to a full theater and not be able to elevate my legs and feet in the future. Small theater, so I didn't have to walk very far to get to my seat or the restroom. The employees are very nice and helpful. I only had a smart water so I can't remark on the snacks.

I remember when this was a dollar theater back in the day. I saw Oliver Stone's "The Doors" and I…read morebelieve Scorsese's, " Goodfellas" in a double feature. I also hearken back to that time when I saw the person carrying a backpack with 5 kids. It was for a deliberate reason. Enter the sounds of snuck in sodas and snacks. It was dingy but admission to get in was cheap. Now theaters have become visual representions of our homes. Reclining chairs, table side service and designer foods. The whole point of going to movies was to surrender to the movie. But now that time has passed. Even though this place has re-opened and still maintains its former glory, it is no match for the litany of mega-theaters and burgeoning streaming services. Maybe my review is to opine as in nostalgia but that is not such a bad thing. Plus I can't do the bigger theaters where everything is on the other side of the world. Firstly tickets are really, really cheap. If you don't mind 30 minutes of trailers, the compromise is subtle. In addition I really see no major difference in sound and film quality versus the major outlets. Although with praise there must be critique. One major thing patrons will not agree with are the concession's pricing. Popcorn is outrageous. Beverages are going to put a hurting to your wallet. And an almost seemingly 10$ dollar Icee? With no accompanying refills? Simple solution, join their membership loyalty club for a monthly fee of $10 bucks. It really saves you money. I must mention a caveat. The crowd can be interesting. I one time saw a dude dressed like a wizard. And a couple next to us were discussing their men troubles. Almost throughout the whole movie. I suppose living four years apart and now reacquainting ourselves to sitting together is still problematic. I must say I do like this theater despite all forementioned things. It is not pretending to be anything other than what it is. They offer premium films at inexpensive prices. Concession prices leave little to be desired. But again my theater hack is to sneak in a bag of Sour Patch Kids and wait for the loud "Fast and Furious MCIIIV" trailers to pop open drinks. I mean it's not the Alamo Drafthouse but I don't think that's a bad thing either. ps. I wish my partner would stop selecting horror movies when we go! I miss my arthouse films.

I'd just eaten breakfast so I didn't order any food. Upon entering the theater, there was no window to purchase a ticket, I had to use the kiosk but I didn't have my wallet or my physical debit card so I had to purchase my ticket online. I ended up using Fandango, which included a $2.19 convenience fee. I was able to print the physical ticket on the kiosk and the attendant at the snack counter checked it and told me where my theater was. I was the only one in the theater. I sat dead center on the top row. The seat featured a side table, a cup holder and it reclined. A nice theater, the restroom was clean but the pipes were noisy.
