Corey Santi Salon is amazing! He's friendly, has an incredible eye for detail, give I have an eye for details. Noticed the small details of him rounding out the hair with my facial features. Tho I asked him to experiment because I enjoy evolving. The new haircut cut will take a bit of time to get used to, yet the style will assist in being confident and adjusting to the style. Over all love the hairstyle. Corey made our conversation enjoyable. I felt completely at ease building a professional relationship with him. While the location is a bit tricky to find and parking can be tight, the overall experience was fantastic. I'm excited to return and highly recommend Corey for anyone looking for exceptional service in a welcoming atmosphere. Thanks for the glow up! read more

I've been going to Corey for at least 4 years so this review is long overdue. I found Corey by googling "Asian men's hair" and he appeared on the bottom of the first page. At the time, he was close to where I lived. Since that time, he is now far from where I live and his availability and my work hours on occasion make it difficult to schedule...but he is worth it. Three things make him stand out better to me than any other person that has cut my hair: 1. I usually try to get a haircut every 5 weeks. I can give myself a fade on the sides (or at least, he is kind enough to not give me his real opinion!) But due to life and work, getting a regularly scheduled haircut isn't always the case. However, I feel like I can go a few weeks longer without my hair going native on me. It just keeps its shape. 2. Having straight, black, Asian hair, I've always had to use product to get it to lay down especially on certain mornings. As my hair got longer and more unruly, I would feel like I would have to use more product. Corey's haircuts almost require no need for product in my hair. Sometimes, I just use a leave-in conditioner to hold things in place or I've even just left the house with nothing in my hair on occasion. For me, this is unheard of since 7th grade. 3. I've always characterized the time after a haircut as occurring in 3 phases. The immediate phase when the hair is shortest, the "sweet spot" phase when the haircut looks sharp, and the end when the hair is too long and you need a hair cut. The "sweet spot" is the period where you enjoy the haircut. Where you look in the mirror and gleam at the high and tight fade. Where your hair is manageable and you don't have to think about your hair amongst the myriad of other things you have to worry about in your life. Corey's haircuts have the longest "sweet spot" period out of all the haircuts I've ever had. By far. Other than that, Corey is just a really good dude. He is easy to talk to and time just easily passes between us. read more

I had a great experience with Corey, I needed a haircut, but was nervous because of my earlier experiences with other hair cutters. I showed him pictures of how I wanted my hair to look, And then I further explained what I wanted. And he did exactly what I asked for! All of my friends tell me that my hair looks great. I agree. For what you get and the great atmosphere of his studio, his price is very reasonable. Highly recommended. read more

Corey has been cutting my hair for about two years now, every time he's cut my hair, its been amazing. I was use to going to barbers who would never do what I wanted, but corey always gets the job done. We always have great conversations as well that easily make the time fly by. If you're looking for someone to cut your hair, I strongly recommend making an appointment with him. read more

I can't say enough great things about Corey! I've been seeing Corey for the past few months and every single appointment is a 10/10 experience. Not only is Corey insanely talented with cuts, color, and styling, but he also takes the time to really listen to what you want--and somehow always make it even better than you imagined. read more

One, if not the best barber in San Jose. Amazing hair cut and Corey is great to talk to. I miss the cuts I used to get back in London but I totally feel like I am getting that experience here. read more

Corey is the man. I enjoy coming into his shop and always leave satisfied with my haircut. Prior to the cut, he always takes the time to understand exactly what you are looking for and makes suitable recommendations from an experts POV. Inside the parlor has an elegant vibe to it, and is always a very comfortable and relaxing experience. I have been getting my haircut with Corey for a couple of months now, and will continue to return. read more

Corey is a great guy who knows how to cut hair right. He'll discuss with you in detail approaches to get your desired cut. Like others have mentioned his scissor skills are excellent! He works out of a location on Lincoln towards where it meets Almaden Expressway. Corey is truly a class act and kind soul who cares about the end result and you as a person. Highly recommend. read more

Corey is not just an awesome Barber but he is an awesome guy. He has been great at helping me find my look and explore different styles that work for my hair and headshape. He's also helped me be confident enough to make choices I wouldn't have made on my own. But I trusted him and they paid off. I look and feel great! He's also a great conversationalist. I genuinely look forward to spending time with him when I book my hair and beard trims. I highly recommend Corey to anyone looking for a barber. read more

I got my haircut previously by a barber in San Francisco for the past 2-3 years (I was commuting from Fremont to SF just to get my haircut as my wife is very selective on who styles my hair and I still want to sweep her off her feet with my good looks) but unfortunately I have stopped using that service because I took a chance on trying something new and came across Corey who leveled up my hairstyle in many ways more than one! Not only did the session exceed my expectations on the finished product, but it served as a therapy session as well haha. I was so caught up in the great conversation that my hair was finished before I knew it & both my head and chest seemed to feel lighter. The location he has decided to carry out his business is nestled in a quaint area in Willow Glen surrounded by good eats to visit after getting a fresh cut. I highly recommend trying him out if you're in dire need of a haircut as he is more than qualified to carry out the duty of cutting one's hair, please stop by & say hello because I definitely will be coming back for many years to come :) Thanks again Corey! read more

Corey is awesome! He's been cutting my hair for the past year and has helped define my style that works for my hair. His attention to detail and focus on his craft is elite. Corey's a very easy going person and I always appreciate my time (and chats) with him. Whenever I leave his shop I feel more confident in my look. Thanks Corey! read more

It's rare to find oneself a barber who is the entire package. Corey is passionate about his craft and his skill and experience are clearly evident when he goes to work. These qualities are usually enough for most folks in what to look for in a barber. What elevates Corey above the rest in my opinion, is that on top of having high quality work, he is one of the most genuine, personable people you will ever meet. I first came into his shop just wanting a fresh cut. I left with not only with a fresh cut, but also a great friend and a new permanent barber. If I had to summarize Corey's work in two words, I would use CARE and EXCELLENCE. Corey isn't just a customer service professional. He genuinely cares about his clients. This is shown in how he takes his time during each cut and how he is able to share wise advice (if asked for) while still making sure the client is getting what they want. With Corey, you will find someone who you can always feel comfortable conversing with while also enjoying the clean, professional environment of the shop he works in. I 100% would recommend Corey to anyone looking for a high quality barber. Every cut I've had from Corey has been exactly what I wanted and I always look forward to our appointments. read more

Corey is a passionate dude who takes care of his clients. Every time I get compliments on my beard it's always after Corey hits me with the Beard Trim. I leave the chair feeling fresh and confident. Super easy going guy to talk and excellent at his craft. He is also excellent with multiple styles and textures been recommending Corey to my friends and family as well and they all have nothing but great things to say about their cut and experience with Corey! read more

Corey is the only one I go to.. I have tried many other barbers but Corey is just on a different level... you can show him a picture and he will make it happen.... Was looking for a new hair cut place after a long Covid grow-out. Decided to take a chance with Corey and really glad I did. Always gives a great cut and super professional. He actually knows how to use a scissors, rather than a lot of places that only seem to know how to use a razor. I'd recommend him more, but I don't want it to be impossible to book a haircut with him. read more

Corey is great! Does a great job on keeping my pre-teen's hair looking fashion forward and trendy! Super friendly and easy going too. Thank you Corey! read more

I took my little brother to Corey to get a hair cut for my mom's wedding. He did an amazing job on the hair, and created a welcoming, clean, and professional environment. It was the first time my brother went to a real barber. Prior he had only been taken to nail salons and had different cosmetologists cut his hair, so this was a wonderful experience for him. We highly recommend! read more

I had been looking for a barber who had experience in working with curly hair, and when you look at Corey's hair, you know that he has that knowledge. I booked an appointment online and began texting him about my appointment. I texted him letting him know that I had curly hair, and his response was amazing. He asked me how long I'd been growing it out, what products I used for washing and styling. When I got to my appointment he was very helpful, we talked about some other products that I could be using, and he gave me pointers on how to take better care of my curls. Not to mention we had a great conversation while he was cutting my hair. The environment was extremely nice, they had just finished a second room slightly behind the salon that had a very barbershop feel. I'm extremely satisfied with my haircut and I will definitely be coming back! read more

Corey is the man! Super professional and skilled. Very easy to work with and has nailed it every time Ive worked with him. Show him some love. You will not be disappointed! read more

Man I could write a book on Corey's heart and passion for what he does and who he is, but I'll focus more on the pure skill this man has. He's absolutely phenomenal at what he does, no a single barber knows how to make hair look so clean but with such an original style to it. Anything you want, he can make happen but better! I mean it, my go too with Corey is to trust him with what he thinks will look good on me and everytime it turns out better than before. Without fail people always talk about how great my hair looks after seeing Corey, and it's become a point where i have to make monthly appointments just for the experience and how amazing he does hair. Another thing I'll add on, is he has a great heart with so much history, if you wanna talk wrestling, music, or just about anything with him he just knows how to roll with any vibe that comes at him. I'm lucky to have a friend like Corey who does hair the way he does! read more
