First off, this place is decorated so cute!! Feels like Christmas! So cute. Prices, wow!! So affordable, which is a pleasant change from almost everywhere else. It is cash only, so come prepared. They do have an atm tho. So many choices for songs, and the DJ will help you out. I didn't have the food, if they had any, but we all did sing and had a blast!!

This is the best dive bar around. Cash only and beer only options. Small inside but amazing vibes and karaoke. Cheapest beer around $4 or $5 choices. Cannot beat that. It feels like Christmas once inside. Loved this place and must visit if in Nashville

If you're looking for an authentic and unique Nashville experience off the main strip, take a quick Uber over to Santa's Pub. Located in a trailer with a huge added porch, this is a good old fashion dive bar. I was here about 7 years ago so upon returning this trip, we had to make a stop back in and not much has changed except they did finally enforce no smoking indoors. The smoke from the patio does waft in though, so if you're bothered by it try to snag a table on the back side of the bar. Good live music playing there during our visit, beers and cold, and great people watching! They do have limited drink options so don't expect fancy cocktails here. Bartender was friendly and we were able to pickup some Santa's koozies and a hat for souvenirs. Definitely work a trip to see for yourself!

We've been Santa's regulars for years. Every time we have friends in town we must take them. This place never disappoints. The staff is amazing, it's a safe place where everyone is welcomed.

The only photo I can post from this night -- so much fun. Go make some memories!

This place is so much fun. $3 beers. Karaoke. Immaculate Vibes. I loved it. Had the time of my life. My only regret was that my whole outfit smelled like cigarettes the next day (smoking is allowed inside), but it's a small price to pay for such a good time. I was hoping to find a place that locals liked that was super festive, affordable and had karaoke. SUCCESS. There is a $5 cover on weekends, but given how cheap everything else was, that didn't seem like a big deal. There is a small parking lot, but we Uber-ed there. 10/10 would come back.

Me, Tony and Santa , the man himself.

We drove from Milwaukee to find Santa. We weren't disappointed. Santa is probably the best person on earth. I could listen to his stories forever. This is a very welcoming place. Friendly staff - you can feel the love. Remember it's cash only and no liquor, just a few beers and White Claws and margarita mixers and things like that. It's a dive bar and I mean that in the best possible way. Nothing fancy, yet you never want to leave. This was our favorite part of our vacation to Nashville.

Fun dive bar with mostly locals. Everytime we visit Nashville, Santa's Pub is always a must! Great people!

One of the most unique bars I've ever been too. It's like no where you've ever been and I love that about it. Finally something not trendy and cookie cutter. Karaoke is classic and never dies so is beer. Round up all those in one double wide trailer and you might be at the best dive in Nashville. Cash only so come prepared. This place is easy to get to but hard to leave when you're having so much fun singing tunes with all your new best friends. Also no cussin, smokin, or drinkin when your up to sing. Respect the rules, respect the place, respect Santa and Rock out all night. I love that it's Christmas 24/7 365 here.

Disappointing... KJ is a disaster. Turned in a song twice, and he lost both of them. Fun for a party scene, but not great for karaoke.

Ask the Community - Santa's Pub

Are there songs for the whole family?

It's a bar so it's 21+ to enter. You'll likely hear more country than anything with it being in Music City.

Is smoking still allowed?

Yes

I heard there is a cover charge on certain nights. How much and which nights?

On Fridays it's $5/person. I don't know about any other nights!

There's a row of boots on the wall, which I think is for display only and a call out to the time when they actually sold boots here. This historic building itself feels like a shotgun (long and narrow) and apparently once served as a Civil War warehouse and later the Sho-Bud Steel Guitar Company. To prolong our stay, we ordered cheeseburgers and beer (fries and onion rings were extra) for brunch. I tried to interest folks in their $6 "Recession Special" - A grilled or fried bologna sandwich piled high, with a bag of potato chips, a Moon Pie, and a cold Pabst Blue Ribbon (PBR) beer, but got no takers. We sat up on the balcony, which we had all to ourselves and with a nice view to the main floor below. Our waitresses were down home friendly, hard working, and good at what they were doing. We felt right at home and this was perhaps the most classic and authentic Nashville experience we had here. The band even wished my Happy Birthday. :)

How do you search for:…read more A funky good time where I can listen to Jazz, drink a few libations and have a good steak? Skull's Rainbow Room checks all the boxes. Nashville is a music town, throw a rock and you'll find a great spot at a bar playing music. Some of the bars have a stage where bands are jammin'! I'm looking for something different, something more contemporary, live jazz and a speakeasy feel. Skull's Rainbow Room delivered. Walking up to Printer's Alley, it's already giving off speakeasy vibes. I did my classic move, Get to the restaurant early and tell the waitress I'm so hungry and promise I won't be here all night. Man... I was set up with a great table and was told I have less than two hours. (I mean, I am Bill S from New York, I can be quite persuasive) My waiter comes over, we start talking about the east coast, how he misses New Jersey but loves his new home in Nashville. I order a martini and thick Prime Rib cut along with a side of truffle mashed potatoes. My drink comes out quickly and now I am in the jazz zone. These guys rocked it! Great music along with strong cocktails, I laugh and say to myself: I'm getting paid to be here! My steak comes to the table very quickly. Man this steak cut is a thing of beauty. The au jus with a bite of the truffle mashed potato, heaven. Now the piano player start playing The Love Theme from The Godfather?? Am I in heaven or.. are they trying to seduce me to the other side as I order another cocktail? Just a fantastic night, from the music to the food and libations at Skull's Rainbow Room. My waiter says, it's been two hours, would you like your drink brought to the bar? I declined as I paid my check. Skull's Rainbow Room is a must stop when in Nashville. You can check out any time you want.. but you can never leave!
