While one would naturally think of Broadway when it comes to bars and overall action in Nashville, you shouldn't discount Printer's Alley; there are several businesses here that provide just as much entertainment and it's way less hectic than the former. My hotel was right around the corner from Printer's Alley, so I made a few laps during my time in Nashville and stumbled upon Snitch; it looked like a cool spot so I decided to make my way in to check it out. What really drew me into Snitch was the music - live music in bars are a dime a dozen in Nashville, however the group playing here the night I went were awesome. Outside of the music, the bar itself is pretty standard - it's rectangular with a fair amount of tables and decent amount of stools at the bar. Aesthetics are kinda casual - nothing really to stand out in terms of decor. Drinks were good, I had two rounds and both were tasty. The bartenders and staff were great - they were attentive and despite a crowd of people walking in midway through my visit doing a bar crawl, they made sure we were all taken care of. Overall, I enjoyed my time at Snitch - it's worth stopping in as you're exploring Printer's Alley. read more

We were wandering down Printers Alley waiting for our dinner reservation time at another place, and heard a good Foo Fighters cover song playing here. It pulled us in, cause we love alt rock and it was refreshing to get away from the onslaught of country. The band was called Yearlove and was taking requests. I gave them a tip via Venmo and asked them to do Beastie Boys and it was awesome. A very small place, thankfully not overly crowded, but had a nice group of slightly to more than slightly drunk folks all singing along to some cool rock music. I loved this place initially, but not the second time. I realize it is because I was in the mood for some mellow solo act for chilling. On Thursday, this cozy place had a keyboard playing girl singer who was engaging. She took requests, and sang Carole King, Queen, Beatles, Norah Jones, and even Amy Winehouse. Her voice was very pleasant, close to Norah Jones. When I went back on Friday, there was a rock band. I think the venue is too small for the drums, and the reverberation was too much. My husband and I came to Snitch on our last night in Nashville/on my husband's birthday. We were looking for a speakeasy vibe with live music that wasn't strictly country and we definitely found that here. From reviews I've seen a mix of vibe/performances, so I'm just strictly going off of what happened when were were there on a Thursday night. Our bartender was a man who was straight to the point, professional, and made amazing drinks quickly. He was the only one work the bar on 9/15 and was able to serve every single person with no long waits. I heard him even take the time to make recommendations for people who weren't quite sure what they wanted. Something else I super appreciated was that our friend from out of town called the business and paid for a birthday shot for my husband. The bartender was able to accommodate that and was super kind about it. The music was amazing! Is was a young woman that sang so beautifully. This is really not a cocktail bar. If you are coming here looking for fun, exciting cocktails this is not that. I was expecting a cocktail menu at least but they don't have that. The women behind the bar seemed a little clueless, so I ended up getting champagne and my fiancee had a beer. They have TVs which is nice as we were able to catch a football game. They had someone playing a guitar and singing which was way too loud (the bar was not crowded at all, maybe 15 people in here) and he also wasn't very good. Went here with friends. Bartender didn't give friend the loose change. My friend said I guess that 41 cents is your tip. She had planned on giving a $5 tip because she is just like that. She went and sat down, the bartender came over and said excuse me but did I ring up something wrong? My friend said you didn't give me my change. The bartender told her it's only 41 cents. It didn't matter if it was a small amount but don't just keep the change. The bartender said nobody on lower Broadway gives loose change. We said why don't you charge an even amount then? This is my absolute favorite bar in town and here is why - Have to kick this off with the staff- Daniel and Steven are the best at what they do hands down. I was a complete stranger to them and now I feel like family every time I go. They are equal parts professional, hospitable and entertaining to all their guests. They are extremely talented and have made me some of the best cocktails I've ever had. Daniel and Steven make it an experience that is impossible to forget and will have you wanting to come back every weekend. I could sit at that bar from open to final call and feel welcome and taken care of every single time. I can not say enough nice things about these guys and the rest of the staff. Thank you for always treating us to a wonderful evening. The atmosphere is also incredible. They always have the best djs and play an assortment of songs that would appeal to all crowds. There is plenty of seating and plenty of standing room to hang with parties of all sizes. The staff is quick to get you in the door and serve you. The drinks are top notch. Pretty much anything you can think of - you can have it. I personally recommend letting the bartenders dream something up for you. You will not be disappointed! read more

My husband paid for most drinks with credit card, $10 for a Grey Goose and pineapple was very reasonable. When I ordered a Tito's and pineapple and paid with cash, the bartender (same one) charged me $15 for the Tito's. My advice if you go, pay with card so the bartender doesn't take advantage of you. Terrible customer service. Bartenders were extremely rude to customers, even cursing at customers. I'm not sure how the bartending bills fan from last night has a job there. The owner needs to know she's running away business. From the moment our group walked in, we were met with nasty glares, and a resistance to come take our orders. After we left and were standing outside with our group she ran outside and down the alley, came back with a guy and informed us that we could all go "fuck off" because she got security.
