I'm pretty cynical when it comes to people, especially around the holidays. The more I'm forced to…read moredeal with humanity as they cut each other off and throw punches in the middle of Walmart, the more I understand why the Grinch was determined to steal Christmas and ruin the holiday for anyone celebrating. But then, in the midst of all the insanity, you meet someone who reminds you why you once loved this time of year. Enter: the Tree Whisperer. We have been going to Frosty's for years now. The first year we got a tree from their lot, we told the owner exactly what we were looking for and he ran to the back, pulled out a wrapped-up tree from the bottom of the pile, sliced off the netting, and presented us with the perfect tree. We started calling him the Tree Whisperer because he seems to have a connection to every tree he sells. Their inventory is stocked full of perfectly shaped, fresh, green, fragrant trees. If you buy from anywhere else, you'll be paying for half-dead pieces of garbage. Go see my friends at Frosty's and I promise, you won't regret it!

First off so much going on and so many trees, we parked on the side street. Walked up and you…read moreimmediately smell funnel cakes and elote. Hubby bee lined it to the food stand, came back with 2 delicious funnel cakes and a corn. My picky son enjoyed the funnel cake and he loved the atmosphere. The people working and running around were so helpful and answered all my questions, Caleb was very helpful. They can even flock it to any color you want, which they have every color imaginable. The 2 guys helping to attach it to our car were very thorough and made sure we left making sure it wouldn't fall off. Next year we will definitely do the color flocking and delivery. They have a few picture spots as well as inflatables for the kids to enjoy.

I had a difficult time getting my military discount, after several attempts trying to do it on Home Depot site, using their wifi and its still always a problem. It was being a hassle so I decided not to do it Macy took the time to get my number find my military discount and apply it even though I had given up. These are just two of the many people who are constantly help me when I come to Home Depot and their prices are always competitive with Lowe's and Ace Hardware. Today's visit... 5 out of 5 stars

The Home Depot parking lot has smelled like a decaying body for as long as I can remember. Every…read moretime I visit, the odor is overwhelming and extends all the way to the front entrance of the store. At this point, management should seriously consider having someone inspect the plumbing or sewer system because something is clearly not right. Ironically, the smell disappears once you walk inside, but unfortunately, the customer service doesn't improve much. Whenever I ask an associate for assistance, I get the impression that I'm inconveniencing them. The dirty looks and dismissive attitudes make it feel like they wish customers would rather not ask for help at all. I will give credit where it is due. One employee, Mari, was extremely helpful during one of my visits and was able to discount a damaged item I was purchasing. I genuinely appreciated her assistance and professionalism. However, a single positive interaction cannot outweigh what has otherwise been a consistently poor experience. I've been to this store numerous times for various home improvement projects and have likely interacted with 15 to 20 different employees over the years. Unfortunately, the overwhelming majority of those interactions have been negative or unhelpful. While Mari deserves recognition for doing a great job, one exceptional employee is not enough to offset the overall customer service culture at this location. I keep hoping things will improve, but after years of dealing with the odor outside and the lackluster customer service inside, I simply can't justify giving this store a higher rating.

Lowe's on Rosedale in Bakersfield is my go‑to home improvement stop, because the selection and…read morestaffing kick Home Depot in the proverbial butt. The staff: is knowledgeable, willing to walk you through options, and actually walk you to the item if theyre not busy, instead of giving you an aisle to find. The last time I was here I had Leslie help me and she was very efficient and helped me with my military discount which Lowes still needs to fix but Leslie stepped in and helped out quite a bit and got me out of there ,she even looked up the item in the gardening department that didn't have the barcode and was able to find it the first time. The more I come here, more I don't understand why i dont speed pass Home Depot every time and just come here first ( Home Depot is closer) if I had one complaint it would be there clearance Department isn't really a clearance Department 10% off an already inflated price is not clearance prices but If i have to find something that I didn't like that would be it. Overall 5 out of 5 Stars as they had what I needed and it was priced accordingly and better than Amazon.

The employees were super friendly and helpful to me. It was so nice. I feel like a lot places the employees clearly do not want to be there and aren't super helpful but this target was. One even saw me later and asked if I was able to find what I needed. Also I pressed the button for something to be unlocked and someone came within a couple minutes! The total came to $22.84, and payment was made using the ancient and highly controversial currency known as cash and coins. The coins had already been counted, grouped, and presented in an organized manner. Unfortunately, this apparently triggered a situation requiring advanced training, several recounts, and what sounded like a direct appeal to the heavens. At one point, the cashier repeatedly called out, "Jesus Christ," which seemed appropriate considering the apparent magnitude of the financial crisis unfolding over a handful of coins. I haven't seen someone struggle this intensely with change since the invention of the cash register. The coins were eventually counted, civilization survived, and the transaction was completed. Management may want to consider offering additional training in Coin Counting 101: The Art of Adding Numbers Together Without Summoning Divine Intervention. Cashier's name tag read Thunder, which is fitting because the checkout process felt like a Category 5 financial event. Great employees on the sales floor. Checkout experience was less "retail transaction" and more "live entertainment"
