The only reason I go here is because it is close to my home. However, the people that work here are ignorant and could not care less about customer service. The ATMs are often empty. When I first signed up for a bank account, the employee who took my license messed up my address and then accidentally reset my PIN number on my debit card two weeks later. Further, she constantly smoked cigarettes outside and would litter afterwards. She should understand that the sidewalks are not her ashtray. A couple months after opening my bank account, I needed a money order. The woman behind the counter stated that they "don't do that" (?). Before leaving, I asked customer service and they stated that of course they issue money orders. I got back in line (on a Friday), and, since they only had two tellers working, I waited another 25 minutes. When I asked why she had told me they didn't provide money orders, she stated she didn't think I had account there. She never even asked me in the first place. Then I learned that a money order from a bank I have an account with would cost me 7 times more than any bodega on Broadway.
Then I went there to order Norwegian currency for we trip. The customer service person complained what a hassle it would be for them and suggested that a do it at the airport currency exchange since was free there. It's not free that's how the make money. By the way TD bank did it for free for my wife. One last compliant the same person stated they have no banks in Norway. My hotel in Norway was right next to one. read more
