    My husband and I were married on 10/24/20 and we worked with Toby of Santa Barbara Wedding Coordinators as our "day of" planner. Upon meeting Toby for the first time she explained that there is no such thing as a "day of" coordinator. That by working with her she would help manage every fine detail up to the end of our wedding and that she did! She even helped us select vendors such as our caterers at Pure Joy who made the most delicious food our guests had ever had at a wedding. Toby tactfully & honestly helped me get my head wrapped around a realistic wedding budget and managed a wedding rehearsal I wasn't sure I needed due to such a small wedding. At the end of the day, our wedding exceeded our expectations. My husband and I highly recommend Santa Barbara Wedding Coordinator.

    If Toby Theule can handle a 2020 wedding, she can handle anything. Our original dream wedding was perfectly planned and coordinated for April 2020, about one month after the entire country shut down. At that time, there was a ton of panic in the event industry and not a ton of solid guidance from local authorities on what events were and were not allowed. Somehow, Toby new exactly what to do and was able to talk us down the ledge from having a massive panic attack about the whole thing. She helped us reschedule all of our vendors for October, made sure we didn't lose a dime, and helped us plan an entirely new (covid-safe) intimate ceremony with our family. And when we found the new, perfectly intimate venue that doesn't usually allow events, she was able to convince them to trust us to have our wedding there. Throughout it all, she made sure to ask all of the questions that we never even considered, helped us make decisions that kept us within budget, and was so understanding when we had no idea what we were doing. She was even so thoughtful about getting a quick picture of my dad kissing my cheek right before he walked me down the aisle. The big kicker is that she did it all with grace, humor, heart, and smiles. We absolutely adore Toby and highly recommend working with her. It will be the best investment you could possibly make for your wedding.

    Hiring Toby will be the best decision you can make during your wedding planning process. She exceeded every expectation we had and quite literally saved our wedding day. My fiancé and I were not prepared for rain for our outdoor wedding so when the unexpected rain forecast rolled in we were devastated. Toby worked tirelessly to make our wedding as special as we had hoped for. She spent days putting together multiple rain plan options for us and spent hours and hours on the phone with all of our vendors coordinating the new plans. In the end, the day turned out even more beautiful than we were anticipating, all thanks to Toby. Her attention to detail is impeccable both with the decor and timeline. She kept us on schedule while assessing the behaviors of our guests and adjusting the timeline accordingly. She consistently checked in on us and anticipated our needs before we did. She is organized, adaptable, collected, and an absolute joy to work with. An extremely necessary part of any wedding budget, I highly recommend hiring Toby. Our day would not have been the same without her.

Eh, I think not. Anyway, it was about 11pm on a Thursday evening and I needed to have some flowers delivered to a sick relative the very next day. So I left an email message asking that they please call me at work as soon as they receive the message. Around 10ish a nice lady from the shop called me, took my order and told me the flowers would be delivered that day at the time I wanted them delivered all for about $25 less than 1-800-flowers. In my case it was the flowers. I know, but what can I say? Not a girly girl into those kind of details. So exactly one month out from our wedding date (eek!) I started researching florists local to our wedding venue. Having left the flowers so late in the planning, we were very limited on our budget, and after several phone calls and email inquiries resulted in "sorry, we only do a weddings with a minimum budget of $1,500" and so on, that familiar bridal panic started to clutch at my chest. Oh God! What will we do? Our planner recommended Sarah Hinton at Rincon Floral. After sending an email inquiry, I heard back the very same day. Our budget was no issue and we arranged a meeting for the following weekend. I arrived with NO CLUE what I wanted other than orchids for our cake. Sarah had a lovely slideshow presentation for us to peruse while she took care of the business end. I ended up going with white anemones for the bridesmaids, and a beautiful mix of white orchids and cream roses for my own bouquet (each choice matched the dresses in question impeccably!). Compliments abounded the day of, and we couldn't be happier with the results.

I have not seen more beautiful, unique designs. Suzie and her team worked with us over multiple virtual and in-person meetings to discuss our style and vision, create a lookbook, and design something that was really unique to us. The florals were definitely well worth the cost (and less than what other florists had quoted us) and really made our wedding design vision and aesthetic come to life. The PacWest Blooms team are real artists, just give them a general sense of what you'd like and the creative freedom to work their magic! The florals were 5/5, beyond our wildest dream! We also did month and day of coordination with PacWest Blooms. Suzie is really warm and kind and really takes the time to get to know clients, which made us feel very comfortable and at ease. Some parts or our experience felt somewhat disorganized and stressful, however, such as no or very late responses to emails, missed or late meetings, and the day-before rehearsal coordination. Ultimately, though, we had a pretty complicated wedding with many vendors, and Suzie and her team made sure the whole day came together beautifully and that we were able to enjoy it with little to no stress. They are truly a one-stop shop for any wedding needs, which is perfect for a busy bride. From the beginning, they were so helpful - Heather was so responsive in answering any and all of my questions (no matter how small), and later on helped make all our signage, coordinated rentals, and truly designed our entire wedding based on my Pinterest board. I'm unfortunately very indecisive and had trouble deciding what I wanted at times, but she has so much expertise in this area that she somehow read my mind and designed a wedding more beautiful than I could ever imagine! Then on the day of, our lead coordinators Christina and Kendra took the reins and handled any issues that came up expertly. We had three separate ceremonies to honor our cultures and somehow even this was stress-free. We used their in-house florist, who was so easy to communicate with and made really beautiful flower arrangements. I felt like I was really able to enjoy my wedding, hang out with my guests, and soak it all in because I felt confident that they were handling everything behind the scenes. We found Tiana through an IG ad, where she promoted Exotic Green Garden along with an all-inclusive wedding package at Lake Lindero Golf Course. The Exotic Green Garden IG page looked beautiful, and the package was within our budget, so we decided to reach out to learn more. Upon meeting Tiana, she was super friendly and honest about the costs, what can be personalized, and was patient in answering our many questions. We left the meeting feeling like we made a new friend, but still wanted to explore other options as she was the very first vendor we met in our wedding planning journey. After a week or so of reaching out to other florists, we decided that nobody could beat what Tiana offered, and her lovely personality was a huge plus. It was an easy decision to book Tiana as our florist, coordinator, and the wedding package for our wedding on October 4th, 2025 at Lake Lindero Golf Course. Leading up to our wedding, Tiana was very communicative with us every step of the way. It was so easy to reach her and hear back in a timely manner, whether it was through email, text, or a phone call. She was always ready to address our questions and concerns, and put our mind at ease. She even gave us suggestions on how to save money with our florals, which we truly appreciated. In addition to Tiana, we also worked with Adena (her sister) and Lance (her father and our officiant). We met Lance via FaceTime a few months before so he could learn about us, and he was so kind and funny that we knew he'd do a wonderful job making our ceremony go smoothly. He even had an additional call with us and sent reminder texts to make sure we were aware of what's needed for the day. We met Adena at our wedding rehearsal, where we learned she would be our day of coordinator instead. We were a little surprised since we thought Tiana would do this. But Adena re-assured us that she was familiar with the schedule and during the rehearsal, we were relieved to see how personable she was, and her professionalism matched that of Tiana and Lance, and we knew we were in good hands. On our wedding day, we received so many compliments from our guests on how much they loved the florals. We didn't see Tiana on our wedding day, but definitely felt how much love and care she put into them as they turned out beautiful, like exact replicas of our Pinterest photos. Several of our guests even snuck some away, which we didn't know till the end of the night lol! Our guests also praised Lance on how he conducted our ceremony and made it feel personable to us. Throughout the wedding, Adena constantly checked in on us to make sure we were hydrated, feeling ok, and keeping us informed about the schedule. She even jumped in to help cut a roast pig, which we did not expect her to do as we were expecting a specific guest to do it (who ended up not attending). We loved that Adena was so on top of everything the whole evening, while having a smile the whole time. We still reminisce about our wedding day, and how wonderful it was thanks to Tiana, Adena, and Lance. Even though it's been a few months, our guests still mention how lovely our wedding was, which makes us so happy to know that we chose a fantastic team. Lindsey is a visionary, a designer, an organizer, a planner, an advocate, a friend. She is beyond talented, skilled, professional, direct, responsive, creative, tolerant, and extremely patient. She is the person you want and need to have in your corner. She is the person who will transform your vision into a reality beyond what you could ever imagine. She is the person who WILL find a way to execute every detail perfectly despite any obstacles that arise. Lindsey has a perfect balance of professionalism and a down to earth supportive nature that makes you feel like your best friend is by your side the entire way through but is also willing to pounce the second something needs to be addressed or confronted. But despite our indecisiveness, Lindsey was able to reign us in and really found a way to help us identify exactly what we wanted. As someone who always needs to be in control and micromanage every detail, it was challenging for me to accept the idea of handing over the reigns and trusting that someone else could execute accordingly .... but I could not be happier that I trusted Lindsey and handed those reins over. It not only made my life SO much easier, but also resulted in an absolute PERFECT event that I would have NEVER been able to pull off half as well on my own! The planning, coordination and design aspects of the process were absolutely effortless on our end. Once our vision was cemented, Lindsey and her team were able to magically bring everything to life beyond our expectations by handling all the tedious backend details that we honestly had no time or patience for! In the very beginning of the planning phase I found myself "checking in" frequently to ensure certain things were going to be handled; however, I quickly realized that my need to "check in" was completely unnecessary as Lindsey was always 10 steps ahead. People warned us about how stressful the actual wedding day can be, so we had mentally prepared ourselves to feel emotionally drained, anxious, overwhelmed, etc. Let me tell you, this could not be farther from the reality of our experience on our day; it could NOT have gone any smoother. The entire day was effortless on our ends, our only responsibility was to show up. My wife and I felt completely and utterly at ease and relaxed. As a direct result of Lindsey and her team's attentiveness, we never had to ask for a thing; they knew exactly what we needed before we even realized we needed it! We also entrusted Lindsey with the responsibility of selecting our photography and videography teams, which both ended up being INCREDIBLE and huge contributors to the success of our event! Having these teams collaborate on our event together felt more like having life-long friends surrounding us as opposed to having a group of strangers in our space who were being compensated to get a job done. In the days following, many people reached out to enthusiastically tell us how "perfect" the event was; many insisted this was the best wedding they had ever attended; many commented on the impeccable timing and spacing from one activity to the next. We even had more than one of our friend's husbands say, "this is how a wedding should be done". Magnolia Event Design also uses the Aisle Planner Software which is a brides dream come true! It is a unique venue for a…read morecorporate event because the location does not have wifi, has bad cell service, and has minimal electrical outlets.  SPARK provided a very detailed quote and included things I forgot to even mention or didn't know we needed. They're very familiar with the venues in the area. They worked well based on the budget we had. Alex and his team also went to the venue for a site visit where we discovered a huge echo in the venue. They were creative and worked on ways to fix it. They also made sure our video wall wouldn't have a glare and we would have shading for when the sun hit directly on the greenhouse. Alex was also great as we had a bunch of performers who needed additional A/V support. He reached out to them and knew exactly what they needed. The team spent hours and hours setting up. It really was a huge production. On the day of, everything was great! The wifi went smoothly and the on-site techs were helpful. One thing to note is that our event was not completely waterproof so when it rained between day 1 and 2, SPARK had to make a few adjustments as some outlets weren't functioning and there was water on some things. They did so quickly before guests arrived. The before & after pictures don't even show all the work put into this! Alex and his team should have been hired for Fyre Fest because they are amazing with producing great events no matter what difficulties there are.
