TLDR: We paid thousands to have our day filled with stress and mismanagement at every turn. Specific photos were missed, rings were missing, and ZERO coordination was done. We also hired their florist who was overwhelmed, overpromised and underdelivered and needed extra help. Three Sisters was the most disappointing and frustrating vendor in every sense. Would rate 0 stars if could. Stay away. We were assured on every call, "We just want you to relax and not worry about anything on your big day. We got this." It was surprising to hear at the rehearsal that "We aren't allowed on site until noon." The bride and bridesmaids were arriving at 9am. "The photographer is coming at 11am," we said. "Oh, they're the exception." We asked the event site coordinator who said they could've been there at 9am with us. We hired Three Sisters for the primary purpose of making sure the bride's stepmother did not interfere with any of the activities. This was repeated ad nauseum on every pre-planning call and stressed repeatedly. Within minutes of her arriving (and the groom saying, "That's her.") she had already made it into the bridal suite (where there was no coordinator at any time in the day assisting with all the logistics. When asked the coordinators said, "we are overwhelmed." The rings were not present immediately before the ceremony. The groom noticed last minute. Christina shrugged. She had been told where they were in the morning and forgot. They did not exchange contact information or start a group chat with the venue coordinators when one was asked to call our coordinator and ask where they were. A bridesmaid had to run up on a golf cart to get them. There was never any coordinator around when ANY photos were being taken despite them providing all our photo pairings and shot list as asked. Many photos were missed completely. At post-ceremony photos, family members left the ceremony site. We looked at each other and realized we had coordinators to help. Christina was cleaning between chairs. The groom explained to her to arrange the next group of family members the subsequent set behind them. Like a coordinator should be doing. There was no bouquet for the toss nor a coordinator anywhere to be found. The photographer had to take flowers out of a vase on the table. The flowers were sparse and did not match the pictures of inspiration provided. The bridal bouquet was tiny and had roses despite asking and told that ranunculus was available. The groom asked for sage and was given the eucalyptus he did not want. We said "lush." The sweetheart table to be covered, and you could see our legs and if we dropped food or silverware. The five beams cost $1800 to have a single strand of thin ivy wrapped around them. It looked like a string of Xmas lights. Heather helped her florist sister all day rather than focus on events. At one point they drove by on a golf cart and asked the groom, "Have they found the missing bouquet?" That is something he needs to worry about? During the middle of our dinner walked to our table to ask, "Are you mad at me?" Heather sent some staff off to eat off site bc "I forget who on my team has food allergies" despite us asking specifically being told none. Staff left on our dime. Uber Eats also would've been a better option. They asked the father of the bride for his speech (so he could "relax") and then lost it so we had to track it down. When the bridal processional started, the quartet played for 30 seconds before the gates were opened. Christina kept asking the bride if she was ready and she replied "Yes" three times while Christina just stared back but did not open the gates until the father of the bride had to sternly tell her to. This was the most awful and stressful experience and at no point in the day was anything coordinated. It was just made more complicated. We could've handled all the above had we known it was our responsibility. Instead, we TRUSTED them to take care of everything, and they blew it. It should be noted in response to the above they replied in email that not all of it was their fault. They would send us a follow-up email explaining what was not. That has still not been received but should be no surprise. read more

Writing this review the day after our wedding, on our way to our honeymoon, because I was SO impressed by the way Three Sisters planned and ran our wedding day! They are truly a one-stop shop for any wedding needs, which is perfect for a busy bride. From the beginning, they were so helpful - Heather was so responsive in answering any and all of my questions (no matter how small), and later on helped make all our signage, coordinated rentals, and truly designed our entire wedding based on my Pinterest board. I'm unfortunately very indecisive and had trouble deciding what I wanted at times, but she has so much expertise in this area that she somehow read my mind and designed a wedding more beautiful than I could ever imagine! Then on the day of, our lead coordinators Christina and Kendra took the reins and handled any issues that came up expertly. We had three separate ceremonies to honor our cultures and somehow even this was stress-free. We used their in-house florist, who was so easy to communicate with and made really beautiful flower arrangements. I felt like I was really able to enjoy my wedding, hang out with my guests, and soak it all in because I felt confident that they were handling everything behind the scenes. When my original venue double-booked my wedding two weeks before the date, I was devastated and in full panic mode. Three Sisters Event Planning stepped in and had a second wedding nearly planned within less than a week. The level of kindness, calm, and competence they showed in the middle of my crisis is something I will never forget. I have nothing to say other than amazing things about Heather and her team. Special shout out to Alanna and all the other wonderful staff that helped that night and all the things leading up. They never made me feel like an inconvenience -- even when they (very gently) mentioned that if I had booked with them from the start, they would have warned me about the owner of my original venue. Instead of dwelling on the mess, they focused on solutions. They helped us re-imagine the day in a way that made sense for a new venue with a totally different vibe, and they did it with grace, professionalism, and real compassion for how emotional the situation was. On top of the planning rescue, they handled full set-up and take-down of all décor -- something that would have fallen on me and my family at the very end of the night if not for this team. That alone saved us hours of stress and let us actually enjoy the day. What could have been the most miserable part of wedding planning became something I look back on with genuine gratitude -- because these people showed up for us when it mattered most. Five star experience! My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Heather and her team for 16 months to plan the wedding of our dreams. Our wedding took place in Santa Barbara, CA and we had the luxury of Heather being on site for the day of our wedding. She was as helpful as we could ask for and more. Her attitude and approach to each situation and individual was always so positive. Heather would maintain this approach from the earlier stages of our engagement all the way to our wedding day. Our planning experience included monthly virtual discussions where we got the chance to not only discuss wedding planning topics but cultivate a friendship. Heather and her team provided feasible timelines with milestones and objectives. She was flexible with her scheduling to allow my wife and I to have discussions with her after our full time work schedules. This team was more than receptive to hearing our preferences and turning our vision into a reality. They would offer suggestions and never made it awkward for us declining any options that didn't fit our wishes. Working with this team requires a collaborative effort. My wife and I took thorough notes and reviewed them each month to reach our milestones and it was worth all the effort. Heather's company also have a very strong network of vendors to create an incredible wedding day. We used a DJ she recommended and he had our reception so freaking hyped with energy and fun. The floral provider was through three sisters and venue's level of decor was outstanding quality. 3 days before the wedding, we lost a makeup/hair artist and Heather was able to provide a potential replacement with fair pricing. And lastly, the vendors we sourced ourselves, Heather and her team so positively worked with them and collectively operated as a team. In conclusion, we cannot endorse this company enough. We fully expect to stay connected with Heather through our marriage and can only hope other engaged couples take on their services. I wish I could be writing a glowing review of our wedding planner. But our experience was stressful, disappointing, and at times devastating--and I would never recommend her to anyone. From the very beginning, there were repeated failures in communication, follow-through, and basic coordination. She mishandled our shuttle service, which caused me--the bride--to arrive 45 minutes late to my own ceremony. She also had no coordination of communicating where I was. The groom was texting the maid of honor to find out. My family and the groom had no clue where I was even though she knew I was stranded. She ended up telling us to just get an uber? The bridal bouquet was tiny and yellow, with dying flowers. No point in saving it. She was also 30 minutes late to our rehearsal, despite telling us we had to be early. Worse, during the rehearsal, she spoke negatively about the groom to my maid of honor. That kind of behavior is not just unprofessional--it's deeply inappropriate and disrespectful. Your planner should uplift you on your wedding day, not undermine the groom. We gave very clear, simple instructions on the details that mattered to us. But she ignored them. The bells we planned to distribute during the ceremony were left in her car, and my sister had to step in to let guests know. The welcome fans we prepared were never handed out. The favor allocation was wrong. I asked several times for it to be placed on a separate table--she forgot, and when I arrived, she said, "Oops, I messed up the boxes." I texted several times while the reception was being set up to ensure it was okay, to find out from guests she stood there chatting with friends doing nothing while guests stepped in to help set up things like the photo booth. It makes me so upset to even type this out, no family deserves that. The most heartbreaking issue was the flowers. I had confirmed with her multiple times that baby's breath would be placed on the reception tables. I asked three times because it mattered to me. Each time, she reassured me it was handled. It wasn't. I only found out as I walked into the reception--and she told me, casually, that it wasn't in the contract. I would have gladly paid extra if she'd told me even a week earlier. Instead, I was left hurt and blindsided on the day itself. She also completely mishandled the welcome signage. She never showed me a proof, printed something I never approved, and when I asked for a fix, the redo was worse. What she delivered looked nothing like what I'd envisioned. Eventually, it became clear that she had stopped trying. I had to design every poster myself, even though we paid her to handle design. She would text me during my makeup session on the wedding day, asking about the playlist, or car logistics--tasks she was explicitly hired to manage. I was told I'd have "nothing to worry about" on the wedding weekend. Instead, I was working it. What made this so painful is that I didn't hire a planner just for logistics. I hired someone so I could trust that the day would be handled. So that I could be present. But she handed that responsibility right back to me--over and over. I felt like I had to carry the entire wedding myself. She was completely unprepared, disorganized, dismissive of our instructions, and constantly shifted blame. She made us feel like the burden when she was the one dropping the ball. Weddings are emotional and once-in-a-lifetime. I still get sad thinking about the things that didn't go the way we planned--not because they were impossible, but because they were preventable. Heather was the best decision we ever made for our wedding! She really went the extra mile on every step of our big day. One thing most people haven't mentioned here yet (and one of the main reasons we chose her) is how resourceful her and her team are. For example, she owns a ton of amazing wedding decorations that she has been curating over the years, which I think is brilliant, both as a value-add for her clients and for convenience and cost-saving. We were able to get a lot of fantastic furniture, signs, tables, decorations, and more for a better price than the vendors. This came in handy on more than one occasion. She has an impressive industry rolodex and knew of all sorts of people; wedding cake experts, photographers, officiants, rental companies, catering companies, baby sitters, bartenders, glassware, waiters, you name it. She even had backup plans and vendors in-case something fell through. If we chose a vendor ourselves and let her know, she would already know who they are and has worked with them! Super impressive. She's also just generally likable and has a great attitude. Even when we were the most anxious as the big day was getting near, she made us feel comforted that everything was going as planned. My husband and I had an amazing experience working with Three Sisters Events from start to finish. They did an incredible job and were so thoughtful throughout the process. We had a consult call with Heather early in our planning process and the second we hung up, we knew we found our planner. Heather is a really funny, sincere person who also knows how to present you with the information you need in a concise and direct manner. We were originally looking for a day of coordinator but decided to sign up for her planning service as well and would definitely recommend it. The added planning service was absolutely worth it and the best wedding gift you can give yourselves. Heather has a great relationship with a ton of different vendors and was able to give us an honest review of which vendors would be better for what we were looking for. Throughout the process, she was extremely attentive to our budget and had really creative ideas on how to save money without cutting our experience. She also was great at showing us where money is better spent. All of our vendors ended up being people she recommended and we did not have a single complaint with any vendor we hired. Heather also did a great job giving us tasks to complete and keeping us on track which really lowered the overall stress level of the wedding planning process. We wanted to have a Mediterranean/Amalfi coast type theme for our wedding and the pieces Heather found for us were unbelievable. When we walked into our venue for the first time after they had set up, we were blown away by how dead on everything was to our vision. She created the exact atmosphere we wanted. We also hired her sister for florals via her company Among the Wild Flowers. We will do a separate review for them but suffice to say she did an amazing job as well and was an incredible value. Where Heather truly shined though was the day of. It was like watching a professional athlete step onto the field. Her whole team was locked in from the moment we got to the venue until the night was over. Our respective families do not listen to directions and are each unruly in their own ways and Heather absolutely locked it down. We could not believe how good she was at herding these cats in a really pleasant and subliminal way. Everything on the day of our wedding went perfectly smooth from our vantage point and Heather/her team absolutely crushed it. We loved all the members of her team too. They were all so fun, attentive, and really contributed to making the day truly special. Heather and her team really care about give you the best day possible and they deliver. We interviewed with the owner and then were tossed down to a different coordinator and less than a month from the big day, we were given yet another, very new coordinator. She was useless. When I told her what to do at the rehearsal she started apologizing to the bride, my daughter, making it all about her, not the bride! Who does that? Beginners. We never received a final, integrated time line, which is a basic deliverable. The few things they needed to do at the reception were either not done, or done very badly. Luckily, our venue was awesome and made up for every mis step made by 3 Sisters. Please, find an alternative. Dont be fooled by the sales pitch. They simply don't deliver! read more

Of all of the choices we made during wedding planning, hiring Heather was the best one. From our very first meeting over the phone, Heather treated us like we were old friends. This was especially useful for us because we were planning our wedding from out of town. Additionally, we hired her sister, Courtney, to be our wedding florist. Courtney absolutely nailed our floral vision-- and for an extremely reasonable price! Courtney and Heather work together flawlessly to create beautiful Pinterest-worthy weddings. Best of all, Heather made our entire wedding weekend stress-free. She showed up on the day of the wedding with a team of six friendly, professional assistants. They handled a million tiny details so my husband and I could actually sit back and enjoy our wedding. She made sure we ate dinner and wedding cake during the reception-- and made sure we always had a cocktail in hand. She gathered/boxed up all of our decorations at the end of the night so we could go to our after party with our friends. She even gave us a personalized wedding gift! If I could give more stars, I WOULD!! I wanted to get married at my grandmothers ranch in Ventura and had only snippets of ideas for the wedding. Heather took every idea, dream, wild train of thought, and turned it into a romantic, beautiful, country wedding we only dreamed of having. When my now husband and I were looking at wedding venues, the venue we ended up choosing required that we hire a day-of coordinator. In retrospect, we are glad that was a requirement and even happier to have hired Three Sisters Event Planning. We worked with Heather mostly and she was very communicative and accessible, answering a plethora of questions that we had of vendors in the area as we live in Arizona. Three Sisters was probably the last vendor we hired, and I so regret them not being the first!! We initially found them and reached out for floral services through the third sister - Courtney, but all our contact was through Heather. After speaking with Heather, we decided to hire TSE for day-of coordination as well as floral. After my first video conversation with Heather, I just knew she would be a great addition to our wedding. She is so sweet and kind and has the perfect personality for wedding planning and coordination. Let's start with the floral - WOW!!!! We did not have much budget for floral so we weren't expecting too much but the floral arrangements were so AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL!!! It was so much better than what we were even dreaming of. Our colo rs were cabernet/navy/and blush. Somehow they put together bouquets and arrangements that EXACTLY matched those niche colors and it was beautiful. Even my husband was in awe and you know it must be truly gorgeous if a guy can tell. As mentioned earlier, we didn't have much of a budget, so we prioritized personal bouquets/boutonnieres and ceremony décor, and told them we would love to have reception table floral, but only if it was in the left over in the budget and they made it work!! If you need a florist on a budget, look no further than TSE and Courtney Jones. Day -of -coordination: I am so thankful to have had Heather on my team! She took care of everything the day of and worked flawlessly with the other vendors. I honestly didn't have to worry about a thing. Prior to the wedding, I had photographers and DJ and event director all making their own timelines for the event and it was so stressful! Heather arranged for me to speak with the second sister - Brittney - to assess what I wanted and then communicated to all the vendors on my behalf. Later, pretty much the night before the wedding, the venue basically told us we couldn't have the dinner schedule we wanted unless we have reception seating for the ceremony, which we definitely didn't want. Heather and her team moved heaven and earth for us, first trying to convince the venue not to schedule us back so late, and then working tirelessly to get the tables set up ahead of time and the ceremony flipped in a shorter amount of time. So awesome! And can I just talk about how great all the decor was! Heather brought in this beautiful chandelier to put over the sweetheart table beneath a pergola, which also proved quite functional too because we would have been in darkness without out it!! There were candles and lanterns and the welcome table set up received so many compliments from the guests! THEN! After our honeymoon, we arrive at my parents house to open all our gifts and TSE left us a little gift as well! And if that weren't enough, when we arrived at our marital home, there was a sweet postcard there thanking us for hiring them to be part of our wedding. What an incredibly sweet touch. I feel blessed that I have been able to work with Heather and Three Sisters 3 times. They coordinated our first, intimate wedding, were by our side for our second big event the following year, and then coordinated my best friend's wedding. I can't imagine either of those events without them by our sides. Working with Heather is just easy--you can tell she is truly in it to support the couple and make sure their day goes off without a problem. We were lucky to have Christina as our head coordinator for our second wedding (after having her first day with Three Sisters be our first wedding) and she was incredible. If anything came up, I knew I could let her know and she would get it taken care of immediately. Finding and booking Three Sisters was the best decision we made for our wedding -- I only wish I had found them sooner! As a DIY bride who thought she could do it all I am so glad I found them because there is absolutely no way we could have done everything AND enjoyed our wedding the way we wanted to. We booked Three Sisters for day-of coordinating services but what we got was more like a month of package! Heather was always a text away for any questions and recommendations I needed. From the minute she came over to see our space (backyard wedding) I knew that I could put my wedding in her hands and she would have my back. I don't think there are words to describe how amazing Heather and Three Sisters are! We originally hired Heather after postponing our first wedding in Santa Barbara to Easter weekend. From our first call I knew I had to hire her! She was positive, enthusiastic, funny and our personalities totally meshed. Right away, Heather was on the ball sending Air BnB options for our rehearsal dinner and Easter brunch, looking at places to go out after the wedding, and turn our wedding into to a weekend of events! Unfortunately the world didn't open up by April like we anticipated, but Heather and Three Sisters were completely able to pivot and travel to our backyard wedding in Rolling Hills with no issues. Now.. lets talk about the wedding day. NOTHING went wrong. And if it did, I didn't ever know about it. She got right to work turning our friends backyard into the wedding of our dreams. She managed all our vendors, our wedding party of 12, and our friends and family with no problems. Plus, she MC'd the event and KILLED it. We still talk about how she was the best money we spent for the entire day. Luckily, we get to have a reception next year and will get to work with Three Sisters again. Of all of the decisions made for our wedding, finding and booking Three Sisters was the BEST one. Heather made herself so available throughout the entire planning process both over the phone and Video Chat. I knew I could always text her with random questions no matter how silly I thought they were and she would always come up with a solution. She thought of every little detail we never would have remembered, and even suggested some amazing additional elements like hanging flowers for some hooks outside the venue we didn't even notice and a date-jar for guests to have some fun during cocktail hour. All three sisters have such friendly, kind and caring personalities you will never feel like your suggestions or questions are not taken seriously. They instantly make you feel cared for and at ease and I got multiple compliments from the wedding party that they absolutely loved Heather and her husband Zach. They jumped right in, wrangled all the more unruly/rowdy family members with zero hesitation, and became besties with all the venue staff. Even with a few venue hiccups, NONE of my guests complained or noticed because of how quickly it was handled. Heather's no-nonsense attitude goes a long way when working with large groups of people and her sweet and bubbly personality has everyone laughing by the end of the night. I was blown away at how beautiful the floral arrangements turned out, especially since I had given Courtney very little to go off of other than the color palette! She even managed to incorporate my favorite flower when I had only casually mentioned it once. My family was even fighting over who got to take the floral pieces home. :P Heather managed to take what I had pictured in my mind and make it a reality and I am beyond happy with how everything turned out. Having a venue in the middle of nowhere (the redwoods of Big Sur), we were struggling with the wifi connection. I was fearful that our Spotify songs wouldn't load, but she immediately pulled up an alternative cocktail hour playlist in the meantime and had the mood set before anyone noticed a thing! Her husband Zach held onto our phones and keys all night so they wouldn't be bulky/visible in our pockets during photos and still be somewhere safe. AND he even offered to move my husband's car from a farther parking lot to a closer spot at the end of the night so we could load it up and move things much more easily!! I was BEYOND blown away at this gesture. Any other wedding coordinator would never have offered something like this. We literally handed her a bag of random things and she incorporated each one seamlessly into our special day. Things like a custom banner with our new last name on it, our cake topper, memory book/photo album, and special bouquet charm were each specially handled and looked gorgeous in the ways she incorporated them. She put all of our family and guests at ease, handled all of the nitty gritty details, ironed out some wrinkles and did it all with a huge smile! Highly recommend Heather and her team at Three Sisters Events, we hired them about 15 months-out for our wedding, we were on a budget and chose the State Street Package (6 weeks-out/day-of coordinating) for our spring 2024 wedding at Villa & Vine in Santa Barbara. Even though we went with the day-of coordinating package, Heather was incredibly helpful with fleshing out our vendor team early on, providing recommendations and tips for us as we navigated the overwhelming wedding industry. (All of the vendors she recommended- Bouquet Sound, Pixel Perfection, and Jump on the Schoolbus- were AMAZING!) Heather also hooked us up with decor rentals closer to the wedding, and she attended all of our important planning calls with the venue. Two weeks out from our big day, we were handed off to our day-of coordinator, Kendra. The best way I can put it is Kendra was the perfect coordinator for the type-A bride. Impeccably calm, focused, and detail-oriented, she and I (the bride) were in regular contact about the timeline and other remaining details, and she was immensely helpful in leading our ceremony rehearsal at a secondary location. When planning my big day, I was stubborn enough to think I could do it all on my own. I hired three sisters event planning with the thought of them just helping me organize the do it yourself type of wedding. In first meeting with Heather, she quickly educated me on the amount of work that was going to be required. The best thing I did for my wedding was hire Heather and her team. The day was insane and man did Heather and her team WORK on my special day, so much so that I was clueless about things that were coming up...and there was a lot that came up. My wedding was truly unforgettable and it only turned out that way because of Heather, her amazing team and her connection to some awesome vendors.
