I live in Queens, Ny. Like many other new yorkers, to live in NY, you need to work a lot!, on order to be a true new yorker. How I got to this dealership is a bit of a story in itself. As I mentioned, I have an extremely exhaustive schedule and no time to visit the hundreds of dealerships available in closer proximity to me. A friend of mine who now lives in Jersey, told me he recently got a new lease through a relatively new app that's not so well known called Honcker, he promised me, you can search for all the features you are looking for, and they will present you with a list of cars that fit your criteria at the markets lowest rates. I was a bit skeptical at first, but when i needed to get myself a new car, I downloaded the app, an started comparing deals in every which way I could think of. It turned out, it really was what my friend promised me, and every detail of every car is right there! I found the cx-5 grand touring for only 368/month sign and drive, while others were quoting that deal to me for as much as 470/month. Once I've decided that this was the vehicle that was ready to go with, I hit the sign lease button, filled out some basic information, Steve reached out to me within a few minutes to inform me that because of the distance, they wouldn't be able to deliver the vehicle as I had requested, and wanted to confirm if I was willing to come pick up the vehicle, before continuing and running my credit, which I highly appreciated. He gave me the address, I looked it up, and decided I could make it.. This is my first time leasing, so everything was a question for me, and Steven guided me through honestly, & respectfully. Without going into much unnecessary details, Steve went above and beyond to do whatever it takes to help make this deal go through. In the end, I didn't follow through on the deal primarily because a dealer in closer proximity offered to match the deal, and not having to go so far did make quite a difference for me. When I had to break the news to Steve, although understandably was a bit upset, was quite understanding. So for all the help I've recieved, and being understan, even though I didn't end up closing the deal with him, Sansone Mazda gets 5 stars for employing only the Beat! Thanks again :) read more

My wife and I were introduced to salesman Jason during to a visit to Sansone to shop for a CX-5. In particular we were interested in three certified vehicles. Patient and informative, Jason allowed us the time we needed to assess each of the cars, and readily answered our questions. Through the purchase (yes, we bought one) and financing steps he encourage us to take our time to make decisions. Overall, our experience with Jason at Sansone was pleasant. To top off his attributes as a representative of Sansone, he's also a cyclist and guitarist. So obviously a good guy! We can heartily recommend Jason to be your salesman. read more

I tried to return my lease on Saturday. A sales guy gave me major attitude for daring to walk in on a saturday to return a lease and that he can't spare any sales rep (while i could see a few just chatting) he argued i should have made an appointment before just walking in and that i must come back on Tuesday. I told him that i checked their website and mazda for procedure to return and no where did it say schedule an appointment. his response was "not everything is on the internet". when i explained i cant take off from work , it wasn't really his problem. he had such a nasty attitude and very sarcastic, no wonder people continue to be intimidated by dealers (and mind you im not easily intimidated). Ironically i called the dealer from my car as soon as i left to get an appointment and 2 receptionists said that i don't need one,....just walk in!! i'm not kidding. im so furious with this dealer and their attitude, clearly all they want to do is sell you the car but if you dare to return it to them you will get major attitude. when i told the sales guy i haven't picked a car to replace my lease his attitude adjusted a bit, but i didn't want to give them my business. Well i hope he realizes now that everything IS on the internet and unless they know how to deal with customers more respectfully , we have the right and power to express them on the internet. i hope someone from Sansone reads this h. read more

Came to Sansone Mazda earlier last week to test drive a 2016 Mazda CX-5. I walked into the showroom and waited a half hour before anyone approached me or asked if i needed help. Marleny Reyes was the women that approached me first. I told her the car and color i was interested in, and we went and test drove the car. As we were in the car i asked Marleny about the features that i had seen online. She claimed the car had the features, when i tried to use the features, they were not included on the model we were driving. Or if she said something wasn't included, it did end up being included. Not knowledgeable at all about the product she is trying to sell. I came into the dealer prepared, i had other quotes and offers and wanted to see what Sansone would offer me. They are a total rip off. They quoted me WAY higher than any other dealer or leasing agency out there. I guess they thought i was a young, naive female. They are liars and scam artists. They came at the highest price, and told me i would have to pay all taxes, fees, and first months payment upfront for the lease i wanted. I told them i would sleep on it and get back to them tomorrow, they started pressuring the heck out of me. They started lowered the monthly payment, but then Marleny tells me shes off tomorrow and a decision had to be made that day. BULLSHIT, i don't care if you are off, someone else will sell me the car! So rude and unprofessional and IMMORAL. Every time i tried to leave they lowered the price, after Marleny told me she was OFF tomorrow and used that bullshit excuse, i knew right then and there i would not give this business my money. They started lowered the price every time i tried to leave and still they were the HIGHEST offer. They tried to get me to see the car under bright lights to try and convince me to take the car home that night, little did they know i wouldn't have gave them the sale if they offered it to me for free. Each time they lowered the offer, they would write on top of the paper "TODAY ONLY" LOL!!! They are so cliche with the lines they use, first thing Marleny told me when she went to get me the #'s was "if i give you a great deal, are you ready to do business tonight" LOL. I would have been ready to do business if you didn't attempt to rip me off, and try to empty my pockets. If you are thinking about leasing from this dealer or any dealer, please do yourself a favor and go through a leasing agency. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE!!! Leasing agency got me my car from out of state and arrived next day for WAY CHEAPER monthly payments, and $0 out of pocket. I didnt pay for taxes, fees, first months payment or anything. DO YOUR HOMEWORK. Only come to this dealer to test drive the actual car and to make sure you like it. Do not give these people your money!!!!! Private message me if you would like referral for the awesome leasing agency i went through. Best price out there read more

Rude and unprofessional. Wasted my time and didn't even help me. Would never buy a car from them, but then again they didn't even try to sell me one. read more

Got a written email by the sales department giving me a specific lease price which I confirmed from them twice during my communication. I work 60+ hours a week and had my only day off from work. Drove an hour to get here only to be told by the sales person that the email I received was a "typo" and that they cannot honor the price I was given in written by their sales department. Wonder if they think all their customers have a low IQ. Worst experience in any car dealership ever and I've been to many. read more

I found a used Mazda3 online and sent my details over, someone gave me a call very soon and scheduled a test drive. They had asked me to look for Ricardo when I get there but when I got there it seemed like Ricardo was the senior manager and they had some other salesman work with me. The salesman (don't want to take names) I worked with didn't seem to know much about cars or that particular car either. He told me that instead of CVT the car has SkyActiv, he should have known better that Skyactiv is engine technology and has nothing to do with transmission. He was very curt during the test drive and did not try to tell me about the features. For example, the HUD on my car shows speed and navigation but he told me it was only speed, I later figured that it had NAV on it too. They tacked on a lot of extra charges and I had to haggle a lot to get a good price. At one point when I was asking a question about the charges Ricardo started acting rough making it sound like he was doing a favor by selling the car to me. I bought from them only because I was buying used and had found the particular color, age and style here. If I was buying new I would go to Ramsey Mazda on 17N. I was treated much better there, even though I could not work out a deal with them. read more

I went to Sansone Mazda to trade in a Mazda 3 I leased through Wayne. I had gone over the miles and was looking to upgrade to a CX 5 before my lease was up. While at Sansone, Peter Jones explained all of my options to me and how Wayne had misinformed me regarding my miles (which I confirmed when I went to Wayne to see my options there). Overall, the process was fairly easy and I didn't feel pressured at all. Waiting for my new car took some time because I went on the last Saturday of the month, but that's to be expected. I'm definitely happy with the choices I made and plan on having my car serviced there. read more

Worst experience ever!! Whatever you do, do not put a deposit down even if they say its refundable unless you are very sure you want to make the purchase. I spent the whole day calling them, they transferred me around and put me on hold and hung up on me. This happened 7 or 8 times. Based on my research and recent experience, if you are in the market to buy a mazda, go to wayne mazda or open road mazda in east brunswick read more

Car : Mazda 6 Touring Manual 6-Speed (Tech package + Moon roof Package) Sales Rep : Ronnie Vitta Review : Although they were not able locate/find the car of my choice, my experience at this dealership was very good. Experience: It was GREAT ! I was asked what kind of price range and car was I planning to get and made sure that my monthly expenses remain with +- $50 of budget. They will not run a credit report unless the numbers are finalized and I agree on a price, which, in my opinion is great when compared to other dealers. I got an excellent price with all the hidden charges declared up front (again, this is a plus) which made my decision more easy and comfortable. About the sales rep: Ron is a great sales person and he will get you the best possible deal(s) on your choice of vehicle in this area. He is very helpful, he even dropped me to my house because I do not have a car and the weather was relentless that night. His motto is "Service before Self" ! This dealership has great deals, specially on the Mazda 3 and 6. I would definitely recommend everyone to consider them before going elsewhere. Knocking off 1 star because, they were unable to locate the car of my choice, which I agree is rare ! I will update my review in case they are able to locate it. read more

My wife and I went to buy a new car. We thought we would go to Sansone since there was a huge selection of brands. We chose the Mazda CX-5 and dealt with Aroon. He was very nice and we agreed on a good price for the car. We chose the one in the show room and since we added remote start we went back a few days later to pick it up. When we went back the car was not cleaned properly, the wheel locks were not installed, and there was a nick in the hood. Mike Abreu got into an argument with my father-in-law and was very rude to him as well. We made sure our contract stated that we would get a loaner car for when the hood was repaired. We went back a few days later to drop the car off to get the hood fixed. I received a call yesterday at 3:30 pm telling me the car was ready and to please come back because they need the loaner. We could not make by 5:30 pm so we went the next day at 7:15 am. The hood was fixed but the car was filthy, dust everywhere from sanding down the hood to prep it. *This car was detailed 8 days earlier* I told Rosie I was not happy with the car because it was not cleaned and she said to take it up with Mike Abreu. I called him when I got to work and he said "what did you expect, you came here at 7 am". I explained you wanted the car back the night before so how did I know it wasn't cleaned. He was very rude and told me to bring the car back to get it detailed. This would be the 5th trip and after leaving it, I would have to go back for the 6th time to pick up the car. He also made comments about how I had to call my wife to schedule the appointment, as if I was not man enough to handle this himself. This guy is a big tough one behind the phone thinking he is all high and mighty. He is unprofessional, disrespectful, so I guess he makes the perfect fit for a car salesman. read more

Awful service theyre coupon that they sent me via email was bs they stated it was $5000 off msrp on the sticker and then when i sat down with the manager they had stupid extras that i did not want and subtracted it from the coupon the person who was the sales person also didn't no anything about the car. read more

My first time buying a car on my own and I am so beyond happy I went to Sansone Mazda. Tommy Richardson approached me as I walked in and was immediately warm, friendly and obviously established in this industry. He immediately asked where I was comfortable price wise and made sure there were cars I was interested in on the lot. He didn't push me or offer me anything I didn't want. He let me test drive a higher model than I was interested in and when I expressed that I wanted to see the Mazda3 in a base model in a different color he went back out to the back of the lot and dug another car out of the snow for me to look at. The customer service he provided was above and beyond what I expected to receive. He was confident he would get me the deal I wanted and can afford and he delivered. Never pushy, just confident that he could do this for me. The deal I got was great I was very happy and there was no pushy negotiating or anything, his sales manager John was also very accommodating and friendly and made it seem so smooth to get me the deal I wanted! No muss, no fuss, just good old fashioned guys who know how to work and give the customer what they want. I leased the car and Susan, the business manager, made the legal side of this nerve wracking experience so smooth I was in shock. Again, my first time getting a car on my own, so I was expectedly nervous and anxious and Susan went through everything with me, answered all my questions and was so patient while I took in all these legal documents I had no familiarity with. Susan told me "you can buy anything anywhere" and I must say she's right. These 3 people I dealt with (I'm sure the entire staff is great but I dealt solely with Tommy, John and Susan) are very aware that I could have bought this car from anywhere. But I came to them and they delivered. Above and beyond in customer service and I will definitely be dealing with them for all of my service needs and when its time for my next lease I will be calling Tommy again as I very much enjoyed my first car buying experience. This deal ended in hugs with them, which showed me that them I wasn't just another buyer or another number, which I appreciate. read more

My husband and I are currently expecting our first child so we were in the market for a new car. He currently drives a Mazda (that be purchased from Sansone 2 years ago) and absolutely loves it so we knew this would most likely be the direction for my new car as well. Bernadette was super helpful in explaining the different models and pricing options that would work best for us. After we returned a second time in hopes of closing the deal, she and her team gave us exactly what we wanted and I got to drive away in a brand new CX5. Would highly recommended Bernadette and team for anyone in the market. Speedy, efficient, knowledgeable and nice. Thanks to all that helped us out! read more

Working with Sansone has been the worst experience ever!. In 2015 with my 1st lease from them, I was told I would only need to put a certain amount down. 2 weeks after having the car I was told I needed an additional 2000 more to keep the car and then they automatically deducted that amount without my permission and after I told them I didn't have it. In Dec 2018, I brought my car in for an oil change, and a sales lady said she could get me in a new car with very little down and around the same payment amount. I liked the Mazda 3 that was in the show room so I entertained her with listening to the deal. She had originally said 500 down and I agreed as long as I wouldn't owe anything towards my old car. I was over 20k miles on my lease plus needed tires, brakes, struts, and the car had a few dents. We did the paperwork and then I was told I would need to put 1500 down in order to make this work and that would include the 1st payment. I agreed and drove away with the car. I was called a few days after to finalize paperwork where I was then told I would need another 1000, I paid that considering I would owe anything for my previous lease. In Feb, I received a bill for 2800 from chase saying that I would need pay this for the over mileage. I went back to Sansone, where I find out the girl that helped me is no longer there. I spoke with the manager, who offered a 200 credit towards that 2800. This is BS, and now I'm stuck with that bill, on top of paying 500 a month after 2500 down for a Mazda 3.....for that I could be driving a BMW. They are snakes and I will never be doing business with them ever again!!! read more

Bought a new Hyundai Santa Fe Sport back in Feb. '16 and while the purchase process was straight forward, -- though the fast talking slick finance guy mumbled through the process trying to convince me that what was on the sales slip wasn't being payed for and salesman has since been fired or left- not sure which -- the post sales support has been terrible -- except for Paul in Hyundai Parts which has been incredibly helpful. From getting though to Service to install an option, or getting them to fix the title which was issued incorrectly. Unfortunately they are no worse and definitely no better than the rest of the crooked car dealerships managed by incompetent staff and cut throat sales sharks more interested in making a buck than honestly satisfying a customer. This experience just confirms why most folks just hate walking into a dealer... read more
