Prices are a bit high, but when you think about it, this is a brick-and-mortar building and you are not paying shipping. So it is up to you if you want to pay their prices. Look hard and maybe you can find some S or G scale. The back room also has a selection of scenery materials and model kits. With the overwhelming amount of merchandise, items are overflowing into the aisles. It can be hard to find things if you're looking for anything specific. If you're looking for the latest HO releases from Rapido, Atlas, or Athearn, this isn't the place. ...but if you want to get some inexpensive freight cars and track for your favorite kid (or yourself), you're bound to find something here. In the back they have scratchbuilding supplies, books, and paint. I found some stuff here (O gauge vinyl roadbed) that hasn't been made in years. In talking with the staff, they purchase collections of stuff so they don't always know what they will have. It is like walking into a used train show, and the prices are very fair.
