Went there for masala dosa and tea one morning. Fast service and value for money! Enjoyed the food. Will return for their lunch meal option of unlimited food for $29 if I'm ever feeling ravenous.

All done forgot to take a pic before.

{Service} 5/5* Kind server and prompt with taking our order. {Food} Tiranga Paneer Tikka $16.99 2/5* Half the paneer was cold and uncooked. Only the bbq-looking paneer was good, the rest were bad. Would not recommend. Chettinad Spicy Dosa $13.99 3/5* Not very spicy. Decent dosa but not the best. Not much filling. Chutneys were meh, sambar was good. Mysore Chatpata Dosa $13.99 2/5* Came with aloo filling for some reason?? Did not taste like mysore spices at all. I think I may have gotten the wrong dosa - it was like a mild aloo dosa. Not very good. Gulab Jamun with Rabri $9.99 5/5* I am going back just for this. Insanely delicious. The gulab jamuns are hot and tasty, and the rabri is addicting and not too sweet but very creamy. They give you a big martini glass full of rabri. It looks intimidating but trust me, it's so delicious I finished it on my own. Rabri is God's seed y'all {Ambiance} 4/5* Very casual family restaurant. Mostly families but not too loud. I chose this place cause of the Shiva statue in the front entrance. The restaurant has good ventilation in the kitchen so it doesn't smell strong like other places. Not a good date night spot or celebration spot. Overall Rating: 3/5* Recommend to others: no, only for the gulab jamun in rabri would I recommend this place

Family-Friendly Vegetarian Indian Restaurant $40 CAD for two 4/5 If you're looking for a family-friendly neat and clean Indian vegetarian restaurant with options across North to South Indian cuisine, you need not look any further. Try Sankalp next time. It's the same Indian chain that has expanded to Canada too. I went for a food blogger event but man, I was motivated to come back next time with my own family. The menu is expansive which will ensure everyone in your group can order per their choice. You can get almost every mainstream North-Indian and South-Indian appetizers and mains including cocktails and mocktails. The place is neat and has sufficient room for you to move around. Some of the must-haves from my experience were: - Crispy Corn: Very refreshing - Vada Pao: Such good garlic chutney - Medu Vada: Crisp like Winter Sun - Dosa: Another Crisp delight - Chholle Bhature: Perfect Texture - Dal Makhani: Melts in mouth - Paneer Makhanwala: Softest Paneer I had in Canada so far You can avoid Dahi ke Shole and Hara Bhara Kebab. I personally am not fond of sizzlers so I didn't try that, but as per owner, those are bestsellers. Desserts were decent: Gajar ka Halwa and Ice-cream Brownie to end the meal on high-note. . Food was tasty but seemed like some items were reheated vs freshly made. Tomato soup was really good and Dosa of course was freshly made.

This place hasn't been reviewed in awhile but its been around a long time, so they must be doing…read moresomething right. We ate in at an available table, though this does seem to be more of a take out joint - there are three or four tables. When we said we were staying, they said we could pay at the end. All the food is on disposable plates and there's no table service or water brought out. The food was ready at different times and the person in the kitchen just said the name of the food and looked at us and we got it from the counter. The chat burger was so flavorfuland comes comes cut up but still together like a burger. It's doused in sauce, diced fresh red onion, a bit of diced tomato, and other toppings. It was fantastic. The food is spicy but also sweet and super flavorful. The masala fries were very good and I don't know if I'll ever feel the same about just ketchup and fries again. The vegetable momos were very good but eclipsed by all the other delicious food. The vegan kalga gyro (they say Jy-ro) came wrapped up with fries, onion, cucumber, melted daiya, and at least two delicious sauces. Quite a hidden gem. We were the only white people in there, which is usually a good sign. They seem to do a steady take out business including pizzas. I didn't see lasagna anywhere on the current menu.

On top of that, there's a dry meat corner & a fried stuff corner. They cover a lot of ground, eg there's both dry & gravy chili chicken. The spread is probably big because it's also used for takeout (I saw staff scooping food from the buffet into a container a few times). The food is mostly of decent quality. Best of all, they're really cheap: Saturday dinner was $17.99 plus tax. They get 4.5 stars. The fried rice was tasteless but the veg Hakka noodles were pretty good. The Butter Naan was decent as naan but a bit dry for butter naan. Butter chicken used tandoori chicken, giving extra flavour & had a very rich sauce (shared with the paneer makhani). It was especially good. There were quite a few desserts: fruit, 2 mini cakes, ice cream & Indian deserts, Both mini cakes were dry. The Indian desserts & fruit were decent. There were 6 ice cream flavours but 3 were super icy & hard & 2 were super soft.
