I rarely write reviews, but after what my father experienced, I feel obligated to warn others. My father had been an established patient of Dr. Razdan and had seen him multiple times for prostate-related care. At the time of a medical emergency, this doctor was not covered under his insurance, so he had to undergo immediate surgery with another physician -- a decision based on urgency and necessity, not preference. Months later, he returned for what should have been a routine follow-up. What happened next was honestly shocking. After explaining the situation, the interaction escalated. The doctor became visibly upset upon learning another surgeon had performed the procedure, raised his voice, and told my father to leave the office -- loudly, in front of staff and within earshot of other patients. He left embarrassed, confused, and humiliated. Even if there was frustration on both sides, this is not acceptable. Physicians are expected to remain composed and professional, especially when dealing with patients facing serious and sensitive medical situations. Escalating a disagreement and publicly dismissing a patient shows a serious lack of professionalism and judgment. If a doctor chooses to end a patient relationship, there is a proper and professional way to do so. This was not it. To make matters worse, when I called the office calmly to understand what happened, the receptionist was also unprofessional -- dismissive, defensive, and making inappropriate comments while I was on the phone. At that point, it became clear this wasn't just a one-off situation. The lack of professionalism extends beyond the doctor to the staff. This was more than unprofessional -- it was unacceptable. Patients should not be treated with hostility for situations they cannot control, especially after a medical emergency. If consistency, professionalism, and reliability matter to you, I would strongly think twice. Based on this experience, you cannot count on continuity of care when you need it most. read more

I am sharing this review based on a deeply painful experience with Dr. Sanjay Razdan during my father's final hospitalization. Throughout the entire week my father was in the hospital, Dr. Razdan never once came to see him in person or communicate with our family. When my father's condition worsened, I asked to speak with the urologist overseeing his care. Dr. Razdan eventually called me around 10 p.m. when he was next to my father's hospital bed. During this call, he spoke to me in an aggressive and hostile manner. He raised his voice and complained that he had to call me because he was so busy. I remained calm throughout the conversation, yet he told me to "relax." His tone and behavior felt erratic and profoundly inappropriate, especially given that he was speaking this way to a family member while standing beside a critically ill patient. During the same call, he abruptly stated that he was removing himself from my father's case, leaving my father without a urologist at a critical moment. We were told he was the only urologist used by the hospital. He then hung up on me without offering any plan for continued care or transition. A few days later, my father passed away from complications related to the urological issues. The lack of presence, the hostility toward a family member advocating for her father, and the decision to abandon a patient mid-crisis were shocking and devastating. I would never recommend a physician who treats patients and their families in this manner, particularly in moments that demand professionalism, compassion, and accountability. read more

Recommend 100%. My husband had a total prostatectomy two days after removing the catheter. He was already fully continent and his erectile function came back two weeks later. That is why we traveled all the way to him to get surgery. Someone specialized in preserving the nerves when removing the prostate. Dr sanjay Razdan is possibly the best surgeon providing a robotic prostatectomy in united states. My surgery went well and now i am on my 3rd week of recovery and doing well. However on the other hand kendall hospital is possibly the worst hospital i have ever been admitted to, nurses barely spoke english and some were questionable if they were real nurses, maybe in some third world country. He deserves 0 stars! This has been the worst experience ever. When I arrived at the office, there were at least 30 other people crammed in waiting at the same time. The whole process was disorganized, slow, and completely unprofessional. It felt like they were just taking people's time for granted. Don't be fooled by the polished Google reviews - if you want the real picture, check the "Get That Key" reviews where people are actually honest. What I went through was nothing short of a nightmare. As someone who is typically okay with waiting, steer ABSOLUTELY CLEAR of this place. I had three separate appointments and waited, every single time, upwards of 2 hours to speak to the doctor. It is extremely unacceptable to be booking so many patients on a scale where the doctor cannot see you at your designated appointment time. Every. Single. Time. It really makes you question the quality of care that is being provided to you. Although the doctor and his staff are nice, it does not excuse the wait time and I absolutely promise you that you will waste half of your entire day here. Horrible experience, Dr is arrogant and belittle you , my friend cried after dr Razdan performed rectal examination in a big room in front of a lot of students , employees and doctor in training, office manager was aggressive and the other secretaries are afraid of her , my friend refused to visit this office again and they sent him an email that made him feel scared because he didn't want to go , he is afraid of writing a bad review because of possible retaliation, the doctor prescribed medicine for prostate enlargement that caused him depression and loss of libido , Dr Sanjay Razdan is very arrogant, Dr Sanjay Gupta is a famous neurosurgeon and cnn journalist and is not arrogant at all , you should learn from him my friend is very affected because of his arrogance and rectal examination in front of many people in a big office , he used my friend rectum as a teaching object , he left very humiliated and distraught that almost had an accident in the parking lot of the office in Doral Florida , my friend doesn't care if the doctor wear suits and bow tie , he just want a warm doctor that cares and made him feel not humiliated, and the office manager Georgia acts in a defensive mode she thinks that you are going to attack her so she respond aggressive and then she becomes more nicer when she noticed that you are not aggressive and just want to clarify something Please repent and change your attitude, not all in this life is money , help people or don't be exposed to patients. read more

Dr. Razdan is by the one of the best Urologists in Miami. The negative reviews on here must be written by a competitor because everyone I know who has prostate issues only recommends him. The office is beautiful and the staff is amazing. He stays on top of everyone because unlike the big hospitals at Baptist and UM, etc... you are treated like a number. Here you are treated like family which is wonderful. He is very direct and to the point. That's why people from all over the world come to him. Not to mention he is extremely talented in robotic surgery and is considered the best. I always do my research and I can 100% say that he is the best urologist in Miami. I had a very good experience with the doctor. He diagnosed my issue and convinced me of the proper procedure. My only complaint is that he is a teaching doctor and his student tend to be very attractive young ladies. I'm alright with being examined with students present, but at my age, I can't help but feel a little embarrassed. The worst "Doctor" i have ever visited in my life. Let's just begin with the lack of respect for people's time. I had 2 appointments, both at 11:15 obviously in different times, and i had to wait 95 minutes each to be entered to a room, to only received bad, rude, disgusting, grumpy, cocky, repellent and sickening service from the so call dr. razdan. I really do not understand how does the USA let's a guy such as him practice here. Every time i had a question, his answers were extremely repellent, reluctant, and deflecting. It was clear that since i am a patient who does not required a surgery, he was not interested at all. He even expressed that if i wanted surgery, he would be happy about the money. Today I go to an appointment that I have with Doctor Sanjay Razdan (urologist) at 3:30 p.m. which made me fill out my insurance documentation and pay a copayment of $ 100 which for my insurance I only had to paid $ 70 dollars per specialist (I was over charged), I ask the assistant who charges that this value is not real since I called my insurance and she told me that I should pay only $ 70 but She showed me other papers that said it was $ 100 so I proceed and I paid without problem but I was left with that doubt why they charge me all that if it is not urgent care visit, how my insurance policy says at the time of paying, I had to wait a period of 30 minutes for them to make me go to an office and wait for more than 1 hour to the Doctor, while the time passed, his assistant asked me the questions that they should ask as a patient to know the symptoms and so the doctor is aware of what was happening to me, Doctor Sanjay Razdan arrived, Normal greeting and checking was it was written about me by the assistant, he asked me lowered my pants for the respective exam which he told me that i had nothing but as a patient I told him that I had pain in the testicles, pain when urinating, burning in the penis and also a small rash and his answer was that everything was normal, I took the boldness as patient to tell him through his assistant that the condom was giving me an allergic reaction and that i wanted to know what I could use or what lubricant I could use for these types of reactions that have occurred and in turn I showed him photos of the process of the reaction happening to my penis but with a rude answer he said he didn't know and he just sent me a cream but he never took into account the symptoms I had; I want to inform you that this doctor is very unprofessional since his attitude does not allow you to ask and leave doubts about what one feels knowing that one goes to a specialist to help me with my problem, he also went out and left and was not diligent to give me an explanation about my symptoms and what to do about the concerns I had about my overall health. He have only put in his report that it was first a Balanitis and then in the same report he says that I do not have Balanitis. I put in question the professionalism that can't even provide answers to explicit concerns of health not even providing symptoms. I do not recommend him since he is a person who does not have the charisma or professionalism to attend a patient. He doesn't have the ethic to listen and assist patients who need profesional assistance. He has rush to leave as when I was leaving the doctors being extremely disappointed he had grab his bag and run off to the elevator. Stay Away from this guy called doctor!!!! He is a very rude and arrogant not human at all. All he cares is about the money and spends no time with the patients. When in on December 21,2023 to get a Cystoscopy and almost Die.This so call Doctor said my penis hole was to small and spray some liquid in my penis and didn't wait I guess for the liquid to take effect. Jam the Camera inside so hard I scream my ass OFF with pain three times . He didn't cared and kept on going. The Worst pain I Have ever had in 62 years of my life.He finish didn't say anything and walked out the door and than i ask the assistant if there was anything wrong and he said no just go to the front desk to pick up the prescription the doctor send you and get dress and he walked right out and left me alone on the bed and when i got on my feet i was bleeding from my Penis. As i when to get dress i started to feel like if i was going to Die and Passed out on the floor and must have been laying on the floor for like 20 minutes and i had piss all over my pants. I know have a big bump on my ear and head. The assistant walks in and find me on the floor i had told him i passed out and i was feeling bad. The doctor walks in and starts acting funny and said what's wrong i told him i was very hot and he said you are a hot man and walked out of the room. Didn't give a damm. I spend there like 1.5 hours throwing up and naseau and sweating bullets. I threw up three times. The worst and most Horrible Experience of my entire Life. After going throught all of this he never even sat me down to explain the result of the test. I am going to be seeking legal help against this basturd. This practice gets three stars only because the staff was very nice. The doctor who I spent most of the time with was very nice but the namesake spent about five minutes with me and that included the exam. He was very unengaging and moved through the process and sent me on my way. He was muttering about not crying to his female assistant who was in the room the whole time. Not sure everyone would be as comfortable as I discussing all we discussed. The staff was helpful. The final​ test will be if they can get my prescription taken care of with Tricare. I will say they weren't pushing to do a surgery which I am sure they could have "justified​" but they did not. The office is very modern looking and a big plus is there was not a lot of paperwork. The data was collected by the first doctor and put into a computer profile. That part was pretty efficient. I hope I never need his specialty of prostate surgery but I guess if I do I know where to go. Kind of a MEH experience so only three stars. read more

Awful doctor. He left me impotent, pain for six months. He only cares about the money.

Besides being a thief , he rushed through my procedure ( he told me it took longer than expected because my prostate was larger than he thought. He did so much nerve damage that I was left with no sensation , really botched repairing of my belly button after the robotics and they treat you like cattle in his office making you wait forever. As far as being a thief, he charged me an extra $1,000.00 saying everybody had to pay it. I went along with it and 4 years later I ran into someone who said he had to pay $1000.00 cash only with no receipt . He said he had also talked to 2 other people who had to do the same thing but that part is hearsay to me. I contacted my insurance company United Health Care and they sent me the claim which showed there was no co pay but it was too late to file a claim since it was 4 years later. They also said according to their contract with him he was not allowed to charge me above their negotiated rate. I called the office and left a message about it but of course there was no reply . He has a good reputation , but if I had read all the negative reviews here before hand , I would have gone to someone else and maybe could have had a better outcome . AND WATCH , they will write some kind of " so sorry you had this experience " or something like that as they did for all the other bad reviews . There is no sorry for the way I was treated , the what I believe was a botched surgery , and the stealing a thousand dollars from me and at least the other guy I talked with. Horrible Doctor! He told us in the first visit that he was the best and no one compares to what he does. So good that a simple biopsy gave my father an infection so bad that required multiple hospitalizations and months of antibiotic therapy! While in the hospital the ER nurses said my dad was a Razdan special. That they see a lot of his patients come in with infections. He has no compassion for his patients, they are only a paycheck to him. Now that the infection is cleared my father goes back for his follow up appointment waits 2 hours to be seen, for the doctor to come in for 5 min. During these 2 hours the office staff is only concerned about payment, which we had paid, could not find referrals which caused the delay. After seeing the doctor he goes to schedule his surgery appointment and is told he needs to wait another hour. At this point he is upset, Georgia who is in charge of scheduling starts raising her voice as well as my father. Razdan comes out again to the front desk and basically kicks my father out of the office and tells him to come back tomorrow. This doctor is rude and unprofessional, my father will be going to a different doctor for his surgery! read more
