Outstanding! Had to buy dresses for my son's wedding on line since nothing suitable was available locally. I am hard to fit due to my small size but wide shoulders. My daughter bought a dress that had to fit perfectly since it has an unusual style and she is MOH. Waited weeks for them to be delivered, and had very little time to do extensive alterations since they were the "right" size but way too big. Found Saniye through recommendations on line, which I always take with a grain of salt. Boy, is she skilled. Picked up the dresses today (with only one fitting) and they are perfect. In addition to altering the size, she had to move rhinestone epaulets that were sewn into my gown. She also improvised to shorten a cape sleeve for me that should have required a seam, but in the end she added a pleat and, voila, no seam and the perfect sleeve. Cannot forget to mention that she made excellent recommendations on some of the work that needed to be done to give the gowns their wow factor. If I could give 10 stars, I would! read more

I ordered graduation regalia many sizes too big; it was unwearable. I needed a tailor who could essentially remake the regalia and I was not hopeful. A few places were unimpressive because they assured me of their ability to complete the job, sight unseen. When I spoke with Saniye, she recommended I bring it in for her to evaluate if it could be done. I did not hold out much hope but the gown was useless as it was. She said it was complicated but doable, and explained what she would do. Saniye was magical in her ability to essentially remake the complicated gown to a perfect fit. The quality of her workmanship was evident: pleats were perfect, handwork completed on the inside was superb. She accomplished it quickly, knowing I was dealing with a deadline. This complicated remake on an expensive item was exceptional. I recommend Saniye for any alterations, simple or complex. Her warmth and friendliness are added benefits. I brought in two pair of pants, a pantsuit, and a formal gown a week prior to leaving on a trip to Europe in hopes that I could get them altered in time. Not only did Saniye get them altered quickly, but everything also fit PERFECTLY. I had already had the gown altered through Nordstrom, but it still didn't fit correctly. It was off-white, fitted, and a bit unforgiving. In order to look good, it had to fit just right. Saniye did an amazing job making it look perfect. While she was super sweet to get my items done in a short time, I strongly recommend bringing items in as soon as possible as she is very busy and may need a longer turnaround. Saniye is great! I had my wedding dress altered here. Shortly after our initial meeting to pin my dress I broke my collar bone during a car accident and had to have it surgically fixed. I picked up my dress today and it is perfect. We knew my dress would be difficult to alter at the initial meeting per her assessment of it on me, but it was more difficult than she initially thought and would've cost double to alter had we known. She did not charge me any extra, and did beautiful work on my extra-difficult dress. My fiancé told me this is the happiest he's seen me in weeks (since the crash). Thank you Saniye! I've been going to Saniye's since I first moved to Fort Collins 3 years ago. In that time, I've brought her just about EVERY kind of alteration you can imagine, spanning simple hems all the way to complex bolting and restructuring. She always does absolutely incredible work, even when the needed alteration is complex to get it exactly how I'd like. Even when the solution isn't readily apparent, she always tells me, "I will figure it out!" and she truly always does! Beyond the quality of her work, she's kind, consistent, and super reliable. Saniye is absolutely amazing at what she does; and is an amazing person on top of it. She cares about doing the best possible job and will be up front and honest with you on everything she thinks is best. I brought in a North Face jacket that had ripped in the front by the zipper. I didn't think there was much that could be done given the fabric used for the outside of the jacket. Saniye told me what she could do for me and how it could be done. The work she did was amazing! You can't even tell there was any repair work done at all. This was a great experience all around, and I recommend Saniye to anyone that is in need of any repair work, tailoring or altering. I walked into Saniye's shop with a formal dress one size too small. (No appt needed, unlike the previous two businesses I visited, which were closed.) Saniye talked through what she could do to alter the dress, while maintaining its integrity. I felt completely confident in Saniye's abilities. I just got married and needed the bodice of my wedding dress altered and a reception dress bodice remade-extremely difficult work. I only gave her about 4 weeks to work on both dresses. Awful of me, but I was in pre-wedding crazed mode. Saniye was warm, helpful, and confident. All of which eased my tension. Each alteration turned out perfectly. My wedding dress fit me like a glove and the remade reception dress was incredibly well done. The cost was reasonable and Saniye could not have been easier to work with. I have tried a couple different tailors in town who did fine work but really weren't friendly and who didn't really seem to care about you or how you looked/felt in your clothes. On my way to one of these other tailors, I happened to see Saniye's temporary sign on College and thought, "What the heck? I'll give someone new a try." Oh how glad I am to have found Saniye! She is a true artist who cares about her craft (she comes from several generations of tailors) and she is warm and funny and makes you feel like you've come to your Aunt's house to laugh and get your clothes so they are perfect! read more

Having found the perfect dress to wear to an upcoming wedding, I was disappointed to see that there was only one size left - a size too small. I asked her to tailor a few of my ill-fitting sport coats and the end results are wonderful. She is very good at asking whether or not to do specific, optional customizations, which is helpful if sticking to a specific budget. Saniye is the absolute best! I didn't want a traditional wedding dress and brought her pictures of one I liked on Pinterest. She sent the pictures and my measurements to her sister in Turkey who owns a wedding dress shop. Her sister bought fabric and created the dress from my pictures, then shipped it to Saniye who did some final alterations. I can't tell you how happy I am with the results! I can't thank Saniye enough for her incredible work on my mother-of-the-groom dress! The dress I ordered online was far from what I had envisioned--it didn't look like the picture, and the sequin shawl was a disappointment. I needed a difficult fix with my coat and she did an amazing job! Since the fix was needed on a problematic part of the coat, I thought the fix would be either ugly or temporary; but she proved me wrong. Her work is high quality and the prices are great. I should also mention that she is really nice and the consumer service is great. I needed my coat back for a trip and the time was really limited but she made sure that I got it back in time for the trip. I had gotten a suit that I needed tailoring and after going here I realized just how much work needed done. They did an amazing job and I was really thrilled with how perfect my suit had fit after the adjustment. They took the time to properly measure and pin everything as I needed when I dropped everything off. The only thing that I was iffy on at first was the time it took to get the work done, however this is understandable considering the amount of things needed and was overall worth it when I picked it up today. read more
