I had 12 years problem free, then this woman, that is in the same Facebook groups as I am, starts hassling me over my bill, like I had never seen in 12 years. Only issue I had with Apex is that my can was not getting emptied fully. I learned to put the heaviest garbage on the bottom of my can, and they gave me an extra bag pick up, free. I did have to adjust for their equipment, but it has been smooth sailing with Apex for years. No street activists, singling people out for their opinions, working in Apex's billing department. Thank you Apex

Seven years ago we hired McKenzie Disposal to remove some wood debris from a job site, the total…read morecost for this service was supposed to be around $200. After they removed the dumpster, we were shocked to get a bill for around $700! When we called, they said the home owner put a garden hose in the dumpster, so it was no longer wood debris, and they charge $500 more for garbage than they do wood. Rather than asking me to remove the garden hose, or spent five minutes themselves removing the garden hose they just decided to charge an extra $500. I called the owner and asked him why they did this, and he just offered to split the difference and only charge me $250. Okay, I'm still not happy but I appreciated the offer and promptly paid. Fast forward seven years, and I call to order another dumpster, and the owner tells me that for seven years he has been upset that he gave me a $250 credit, and that he will never again work with me again. Anyway, the guy seems to generally run a pretty disorganized and unprofessional business, if you have any other options I would suggest you use them.

I moved to Eugene just a couple weeks ago and found myself with a giant mountain of boxes piled…read morenearly ceiling-high in my garage that I was absolutely unprepared to break down, sort and carry back and forth to the (all too small) recycling dumpsters in the apartment complex. Let's face it--I'm lazy. There, I said it. I did a little bit of searching on teh Googles to see if I could locate a reputable junk removal service since 1-800-GOT-JUNK apparently doesn't operate in Eugene (for such an ubiquitous service, their service radius seems to be sporadic at best), and I sent a couple of emails and made a couple of calls to a few different haulers, only to never hear anything back from any of them. Tim, the owner of Universal Trucking, was different. He happened to be headed to Eugene right when I called him, and he stopped by within the hour to give me an estimate, which was about half the price of what the one other company that (finally) got back to me had quoted. He said he could be back first thing in the morning the next day, and sure enough, he was. He was quick, quiet and efficient, and he accepted my personal check with no hassle. This is one hard-working guy who I will definitely use again in the future if the need arises. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs any kind of junk removal or home exterior maintenance work.

Do no waste time calling any other company because no one can do your cleanup and junk haul away at a lower price and no one is as kind, courteous and responsive. I rarely do reviews but I want to give this company props because they are just fast, responsive, and, again, in a time where everyone is inflating their prices, this company continues to offer the same low unbeatable price for their work. This company has hauled away an incredibly large load of old decking, cleaned out the junk in my garage, including furniture, and most recently, hauled away old wood and junk from my woodshed.

The half yard of the Blended Mint I just finished distributing was disappointing. A lot of big dirt clods that had to be broken down either by hand or by pounding with the back of a shovel. This load also included rocks, sticks, several scraps of blue tarp and other unidentifiable plastic bits. Many of the clods were just clumps of dry, brown, hard, dirt. A contrast to the rich black color of the Mint Compost. We really like Lane Forest Products and it's convenient location and nice employees. In comparison to prior seasons we are disappointed in the quality and consistency of this once great product.

I heard the assistant say she had another job to be at, and yet she still called several after hr repair places on the weekend, and inky one was willing to come. This tenant yelled at the assistant, tking her she herself either had to fix it or wait with her things all night (!) The assistant then called her higher management, and neither the manager or her district manager were willing/able to come on site. This tenant even asked me to help roll down her door (I was wearing a cast!) This tenant even called police and lied to the assistant, telling her police says she had to stay with her items and were sending a patrol response lol, yet when the assistant called SPD they told her the dispatcher in fact told the tenant they don't get involved in tenant problems and weren't sending anyone. The tenant was very verbally aggressive, and the assistant still remained professional. All I know is I saw her tell the tenant she wanted to help, had to get to another job, and the tenant was welcome to stay with her things til the technician arrived. This tenant was the one behaving in a horrible, threatening manner.
